  1. Before you continue arguing with CK, may I suggest you take a look at his posts in the "what have you bought" thread. He certainly knows what he is talking about.
  2. a couple of coke cans or bean tins, nice and reactive, have them stood up, or lay them onto their end for a smaller target. Although 5m is hardly any sort of range, i would expect my cat to hit a tin at 5m.
  3. Try Trojan armoires in stockport he may have some.
  4. It's not a spring issue, it's an air seal issue. this airsoft notion that leaving a spring cocked will cause it to fail is ridiculous, it may reduce it's life and rebound by a few FPS but will not kill a beefy main spring outright. 270 FPS is 80 FPS loss from what we expect of g&gs which are often hot. 80 is too much even for a tired, worn spring. The fact the previous tech has replaced the air nozzle and hopup unit reinforces it has a pre terminal air seal issue. They most likely threw in a stronger m110 spring because they couldn't fix it. You will possibly need a m140 to plaster over the crack, who will kill the motor. My gut is a Cracked shell causing an un identifiable leak, but without stripping the box we will never know, hence why it's a project. Certainly spend an hour with some fairy power spray, and maybe some paint to tidy it up will add a few quids. Nobody should be buying 2nd hand batteries, we don't know the life cylcle or workl load of them, they are always a hassle, especially as they are so cheap. Pack of 5 Mid caps are worth £30 +p of anyone cash. But again we don't know their work load. Hi caps worth £5 a piece. It wasn't a dig at all, and I'm not pushing anyone any direction, just sharing my experience. I was the person buying this gun when I started, and I had my fingers burnt badly, I don't want to see someone else buy a broken gun and I don't want you to have the hassle when someone who does known what their are looking for comes back for your blood. For reference the mags are £55 and the gun is £120 brand new.
  5. We definitely work well in a TM glock, but I'm after a few co2 mags and the we ones seem to have dried up a bit, so considering some stark ones instead.
  6. I doubt anyone would pay more than £60 for it, badly painted, it's been worked on and is still at 270fps. it's going to need work, Is a project gun at best. But that's not what you want to hear is it?
  7. I'm starting to see why this place is closing
  8. TM glock17 we 2nd mag Boring, predictable, but flawlessly reliable.
  9. Stark arms, WE and TM glock mags are the same right?
  10. It's really simple once you know: 1 buy a cheap foam camping Mat. 2. Most plates are 10 wide by 12 tall, angled at the top song would start by cutting a 10x12 square, then lay it over the PC. To work out where your want the angles. The foam can be cut with normal scissors or a Stanley knife with adult supervision. 3. Test fit and trim to carrier. Personally I don't use any thing in the back, and double up the Mat to fill the void. It won't weigh the same as real plates, but will help hold the shape of the rig.
  11. You could nip to any high street camping shop and make your own?
  12. What I would like to see is a simplistic PDF or pocket book training and tactic guide, imnnot talking full on secret squirrel code words and keys to the bomb type stuff, but basic field craft, the theory of moving and looking, where and when breaching, building entry systematic approach ect. Effectve comms! We have some players who have been there done that for real, some learnt a little in cadets ect most know fuck all, and wouldn't know a breech from a muzzle. If this does exist or any good field craft books please PM me details. Also don't give me any "but the terrorists will win!" Rubbish, they are more intelligent than, that they already know the trade. Paris, Mumbai and countless other active shooter situations have already proven that.
  13. anyone know where i can get replacement lenses for my Revision Desert Locust goggles?

  14. I have had to shim with some penny washers in the past.
  15. Just learn to shoot it the correct way?
  16. Just because it's priced at that doesn't mean it's worth that. looking at how long it's been available for it's arguable that it is certainly not worth £400.
  17. The correct term is actually "nubi" in reference to the term nubile, and contrary to popular opinion existed long before t'internet.
  18. They are slashing a lot of prices, makes me think, with the absence of any mass mobilisation meaningful conflicts happening, they may be struggling.
  19. No chance of finding a decent new PPK, marushin made the best one, but but sold to more collectors than skirmishers.
  20. WE mags work very well in TM glocks and are generally a bit cheaper, I tagged mine onto a Taiwan gun order for about £17 a piece. [eta] http://www.taiwangun.com/en/gas-pistol-magazines/green-gas-magazine-for-we-g17-g18-g34-g35-we?from=listing&campaign-id=19
