  1. I'm not sure how good they are but Airsoft Systems polymer mags are only 30 quid for a box of 5. You can get em from Army Surplus and Toys or RWA, and in black, tan or OD. It could also be worth a look on eHobby Asia. Unfortunately I think they've sold out now but they did do MAG magazines pretty cheap. It worked out like £27 posted for a set of 8 when over here they are £55-£60.
  2. I don't exactly support Hamas. As they fire rockets it's just encouraging Israel and giving them more of an excuse to attack. Israel are clearly in the wrong though, which you seem to fail to understand. So two or three Israelis get kidnapped or whatever, Israel responds by sending in troops and tanks and completely blowing the situation out of proportion yet again. As Russell and myself already pointed out Israel attack civ targets. Regardless of who's good or not in this war (Hamas / Israel) Israel are killing civs unnecessarily / destroying their houses. I'd say you can't really justify that. Then b1n0g decides he'll say I'm a naive child who's watched too much al-Jazeera...how mature of you. I'm sure all of this is making a bad impression on our new members, and in addition the thread is majorly off track at the moment. Sorry to say this is the only major sort of disagreement there's been on here. If we could just agree to disagree and move on it would be best for everyone tbf
  3. There are a few mixed opinions on what's best to do. I'd hire three times as you can get a feel for guns and what you'd like, then buy one when you've got your defence. I think F&O's Manchester Woodland is pretty good.
  4. By pick up games I'm assuming it means you can just join in when you turn up. Or, it means a walk on game / normal skirmish as opposed to a big weekender or mil sim operation sort of thing.
  5. For whoever was looking for Multicam Tropic stuff: http://www.flecktarn.co.uk/mtccs1na.html & http://www.flecktarn.co.uk/mtcct1na.html

Rather expensive, it'll make its way into emerson combat sets in the near future.

Agreed. Tru-Spec prices end up pretty varied here. £30 for AOR1, I was hoping MC Tropic would be ~ £45. But it's cheaper than UR-Tactical OPS stuff or importing from the US. Np Monty :)

  6. Eh couldn't find anywhere to put a password when registering for a Land Warrior Airsoft account, didn't put one, pressed OK. Now it says I have account (But I don't have a password?)

Is there a forgot password link when you try to login?

Yeah just did it and got the link.

  7. Where UCP works best ^ In seriousness it's actually pretty effective once it's dirty. In woodlands it can work well.
  8. Why does it have a forward assist, why does it have a charging handle, why does it have a flash hider. Just for aesthetics and a bit more realism. My mate asked me why I had bought a KX3 once actually :/
  9. Welcome to the forums! The UKARA thing can be quite intimidating but it's easy to understand once it's explained properly I think there are quite a few people from the Midlands too. Airsoft International magazine had an article on buying an airsoft gun in the UK in this months issue which might help?
  10. Just a couple things to say, I've never seen one in tan (Coyote Brown, yeah) and I think you mean Tactical Kit rather than UK Tactical. Not complaining though! just really minor things that I thought I may as well point out. Not sure whether to buy the coyote one or the multicam version myself, because the MC looks really nice but CB would go better with other loadouts and everything.
  11. You know...cos they blockade / restrict food into the Gaza strip, bomb / shell civilian buildings and UN hospitals etc etc Israeli "Defence" Force my arse I don't agree with what they're doing in Palestine
  12. You could use Zahal.org for Israeli stuff. I don't really like to support / buy from Israel though
  13. 15% off at UKMCPRO

  14. There are ACM Taco pouches, but I don't think they're very good. You'd still be looking at ~ £7 or so each IIRC. Next best thing from HSGI would be Warrior's ones, but they come with unnecessarily long paracord so it really needs modifying, I could see it becoming annoying if you didn't. They also don't do them in black either.
  15. Anyone interested in an MFT Battlelink stock may want to check this out. Aren't they like £100-£150 over here?

My bad, the MFT Utility is £150 on Redwolf.

  16. I have never seen nor heard of one, and I'm sure if they existed you would find them by searching on Google but nothing came up.
  17. Just to let you know I'm Foxtrot_Bravo_Airsoft on Zero In.

  18. Transparent looks okay, bright colours no way.
  19. Seems like it's been out a month or two already
  20. Anyone know who actually manufacturers it? JG? Surely you could get an unlicensed one cheaper somewhere.
  21. What gun do you have mate?
  22. So days after buying 2 PTS PMAGs for £30 I go on Zero In and find someone's selling 6 genuine PTS EMAGs for £30 :| I know I said I'd never use the site, and I don't want to, but if I want stuff I could be missing out on things only going on one forum. Not using Zero In for other threads maybe apart from the loadout one and that's it

Buy cheap, buy twice bud, stick to decent brands, MAG etc be careful as a hell of a lot of nasty clone P-mags knocking about atm

Cheers for the advice, I'll definitely make sure I'm buying genuine PTS if I get any more.

I've just started using the G&G 120round mids in my bastardised G&P and they are faultless, they have the extra long followers to so feed absolutely every round and only cost £10 each so a bargain in my eyes

  23. L119A1 is the Diemaco C8. L1129 or whatever it's called is an LMT DMR. IIRC it's pretty much the same as the Mk Mod I but our confusing designations. Dunno why we can't just keep the manufacturers names really. Glocks are called L131A1s officially.
  24. I think a lot of good places have already been said but Patrol Base is my local store. They don't have lots of stuff but it's my local store so good for me. Service is really good. Agreed with TacMaster - Flecktarn are great Bought quite a few things from them, delivery has always been really quick and prices are good. Bought a rifle case / chest rig / shemagh / dump pouch and some other things from them before. Another place for gear is UK Tactical, a lot like Tactical Kit. Some things on there are expensive but they have sales on all the time and lots of stuff really cheap http://uktactical.com/c-616-sale-items.aspx Ordered from them four times and going to make my fifth purchase soon. Gear / tactical stuff places: GunPointGear Nightgear Tactical Kit UK Tactical Kit Monster RV Ops ukmcpro You could also order from Gunfire.pl or TaiwanGun (both Polish websites) or other European stores but there a couple things to be aware of. Don't buy any airsoft guns from them (you could look into doing it when you get your defence, I ordered my A&K M24 from TaiwanGun there recently) You need to spend about £55/£60 to get free shipping, otherwise costs ~ £11! Most things aren't great quality but it's cheap (cheaper than the UK usually too)
  25. I've heard a lot of people say they're good. You really need a custom LiPo for it though, which would be another £15. Those batteries aren't even available anymore. For the money I'd still recommend a GBB though (something around £80-£90 mark like a WE Glock)
