  1. I've heard of them before. It's a night vision sight though, who would want one? People just buy replica NVGs.
  2. Will King Arms or CYMA mags fit an Umarex (S&T?) G36?

Don't see why not, should all be the same style. Obviously there may be feeding issues like any other mag though

  3. Holy shit yeah, awesome photos mate
  4. In the UK? I've had a look and can't see any on eBay. I know you can get them from Tactical Kit for £110 though.
  5. I don't think there's a need to spend £100. I know there's a good Strike Systems one for about £20 some people will reccommend but I don't have the link myself. You could also get an Element Surefire replica flashlight for £25 from Asia (Ali-Express or somewhere like that) up to about £60 in the UK. Finally I'd also reccommend the Nextorch WL10 Illuminator. It's a real steel light for pistols but you can also use it on a rifle, NASH Airsoft did a review and they are only £39 to £50 or so over here. Hope this helped EDIT - ah sorry just noticed it's got to be with a pressure switch :/ I need to read things more carefully I think the first two come with pressure switches, there's also another torch I may be able to find by Nextorch which costs around £55 or £60. Patrol Base used to sell em and it's called a WL6 R8 set or something
  6. Hmm it shouldn't be under performing, everyone says they should just as good if not better than more expensive guns. As Lozart said. If you want more range then it's gonna be different stuff you want to do to than say upgrading it's rate of fire.
  7. Wow hahaha I remember it
  8. LiPos are much better than old NiMh batteries in every way. IMAX B6 chargers are really good too (I'm also wanting to buy one myself) You want a 7.4V as if you're gonna use an 11.1 your gun will need a lot of upgrades. Component Shop or Hobby King are good places to look for batteries, the former having a dedicated airsoft section too. Both can change the connectors for you as well if you've re-wired to Deans or something. http://www.componentshop.co.uk/batteries/airsoft/li-po-packs/74v You'll want to measure the internal space inside the handguard obviously and then compare with the pack sizes but I think these ones look good. http://www.componentshop.co.uk/7-4v-1300mah-25c-continuous-discharge-lipo-battery.html http://www.componentshop.co.uk/7-4v-2200mah-35c-continuous-discharge-lipo-battery.html 25C is the optimum discharge rate you're looking for IIRC. A rule to remember is that you get a shot a mAh (on semi) apparently. So the 2200 should be enough power for ~2000-2200 rounds.
  9. I think Flyye does use mil-spec materials, but it's still an airsoft brand. No way is it worth spending 300 quid on when you can get a Warrior Assault Systems DCS plate carrier for ~ £110 to £160 including pouches, or as Cheeseright said even an LBT.
  10. What's the best way to break in mags again? Fill it up with ~ 20 or so, shoot em, then another 20 and so on until you reach full capacity?

Break them in? I've never done that.

I guess it isn't too important, just saw it on TaiwanGun once that you shouldn't fill them up completely when you use em for the first time

  11. Welcome to the forum mate, sorry to hear you're having problems with it! What BBs were you using?
  12. PMAGs that came yesterday from eHobby Asia, and an ITW Nexus coyote brown Tac Link carabiner that arrived this morning from GunPointGear
  13. I have an ASG Strike Systems one point. There's a review on here I did of it. One problem I didn't mention, which I probably should, is that they mean your gun hangs really low. At least if you're short like me anyway. I think this is a problem with all single point bungee slings though.
  14. Well if you're wearing glasses under your mask as wll, I don't think anything will go in your eyes.
  15. Just get a SERPA and a MOLLE adaptor
  16. Well put, good advice I can relate to this cos it's what I should've done. Try lots out, research the ones you like, and make sure you are researching the right one. For example I bought a CYMA M4 because I'd seen like one review of it, and the one I got was different to the one in the review. Apparently it had the same internals, yet a polymer receiver. Now I know CYMAs aren't that good I wish I had bought a Combat Machine. Everyone at the site should be friendly so you could ask to try out one of their guns, just get a feel for it or whatever. I know it will be different in the US but over here I don't think many sites have more than one model of hire gun (say just a crate of G36s or a load of M4s, but not both)
  17. Apparently my mags arrived in the UK 3 days ago so hoping they'll come soon and customs ant nicked em

What shop they from? AirsoftPeak says they are celebrating their National Day from the 1st to the 7th and with the riots in Hong Kong maybe that could explain the delay? If they're already in the UK which I think I remember you've said, then I don't know. Either they look like real firearm parts or something and customs want to take a look, or you've spent over £50 or so, so they are gonna send you a bill for VAT / import duty or whatever?

      I haven't spent over th...

I haven't spent over that much yet so I don't know how it works if they are gonna charge you any extra (like if you get the letter then they deliver you items or if you should still get them on time but then it's followed by charges if you know what I mean)

Just pouches, usually ASP will mark it down for the declarations or gift it, i ordered them in the days between when the customs delays banner went down, and the national day one went up, and the only thing on the tracking has been saying it was dispatched to overseas on the 28th, and from past experience i don't hthink it would take 8 days to reach GB, i could be wrong though.

  18. Definitely would recommend the G&G out of those three!! I have a CYMA M4 and wish I'd bought a G&G. Also Ares don't have very good internals! The plastic is said to feel really cheap on them as well, not like G&Gs nylon fibre reinforced polymer. I really hate the look of the Amoeba series too personally. People still buy em though :| Sounds good what you have so far. If you have a look on Military1st.co.uk and Flecktarn.co.uk there should be good quality chest rigs around that price for sale there. For pouches and other gear UK Tactical all mil spec quality stuff, and they always have Warrior Assault Systems things on sale. Worth taking a look but a lot of it might have sold out. Depends what colour / camo pattern you want. Eye pro - no specific suggestions, but make sure it's full seal for max protection and of course made by a good company. Make sure they pass EN/166 standards.
  19. I don't know, sorry. Can recommend the DCS though, all Warrior stuff is great.
  20. Also got bored and decided to try a Kryptek style paint job on the stock and one of my mags. Didn't really work out, but I think it looks okay on the pics. Other side of the stock
  21. Same as Monty as said G&G Combat Machines are great! We always recommend them. Sidearms are fun but it's better to buy good kit and spend money on your rifle (like batteries / magazines and things) before buying a pistol.
  22. 1911s are actually WE's worst pistols. Their newer pistols are good but not the 1911s. Also the magazines don't hold a lot of gas because they're small. So best option is either a TM or CO2 like Monty said. Make sure the FPS isn't too high if you want a CO2 one because for example Redwolf's Nighthawk Custom 1911 is way too hot unfortunately (400 FPS)
  23. Either mounted on chest rig / plate carrier, on waist (paddle or on a belt rig) would be my preference. Leg holsters are okay if adjusted properly, shoulder holsters I don't think are very good. Compared to other options, shoulder holsters are only really good for concealed carry IMO. When I hear shoulder holster I think agent / secret service sort of thing. With a shoulder holster, have to reach up and across your chest to get it, so it takes a lot longer. Furthermore it means you can't quickly engage a target straight after drawing your weapon (which you can do if your holster is at the waist) WE and TM Glocks aren't exactly real dimensions but it will fit a wider Fobus holster http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fobus-Paddle-Holster-for-Glock-20-21-/350805425863?pt=US_Holsters&hash=item51ada1fec7 (designed for the G21 chambered in .45 instead of 9x19mm) Unfortunately the other big moulded holster manufacturers such as Blackhawk / IMI don't make Glock 21 holsters.
