  1. I think The Mall will be much better. It's a lot different to the place I'm on about. There are a lot of people who go there as well who can tell you about it whereas I think there's only me and Cropzy who go to Halo Mill.
  2. I prefer woodland but my experience of CQB is Halo Mill which isn't the best indoor site, because it's really small. It also seems too easy to defend one side but maybe that was just me and the team on that day. Hopefully going back soon and using my pistol that I'm getting which should be better than using an M4.
  3. Finding an eye / lower face pro combo is a right pain! Think I need one of those half face masks which covers you ears (the gen 3/v3 version? that you can use glasses with) I like Heroshark's mini masks but they're over what I'd like to pay + not sure if they cover your nose and website's down

  4. It's a WE as well though, so won't fit a G17 holster. I know IMI and Fobus do holsters for a Glock 20 or 21 (10mm / .45) that will fit, but no light bearing models.
  5. Sorry mate, there aren't any springer DMRs AFAIK. Only bolt actions or cheapo shit "bb guns" Even electric DMRs aren't very good unfortunately. There was a thread recently you should still be able to find in the last few pages, basically they look like one but internally they're going to be just the same as any normal electric rifle and they need a lot of work to perform as you'd expect from such a gun. You'll see we recommend the G&G Combat Machine a lot to beginners (as DMRs / snipers need a lot of expensive upgrades and experience, gas guns need maintaining, sniping is away from the action and as a new player I would want to play the rifleman role) If you want a spring gun your best choice is a tri-shot shotgun. There isn't actually a huge choice when it comes to them. All are basically manufactured by the same company but can be sold / distributed under different names. So for example DE (Double Eagle) or UTG sell them. Will set you back probably £50-£60 (there's a full stock model, collapsible stock version and no stock / pistol grip one) I know it isn't the answer you were really wanting but hope this helps. Welcome to the forum by the way!
  6. Oh wow I didn't realise there was only a thousand of those 30th anniversary models, or that they were metal!! :( I'm not allowed any more airsoft guns so it's not gonna be possible for me to get one. Damn.
  7. That sounds good. Yup they're really good, pretty much the same internally but £200+ ones should be metal versions. A good battery and charger will cost from like £20-£50
  8. Krylon doesn't even need a primer. Do long strokes if that makes sense, rather than lots of times just fully across. There's a great video on it somewhere I can look for. My dad did automotive spraying so he knows good techniques. And of course remember do it somewhere well ventilated and all that. Thin coats and try to be really patient (for waiting like 10 mins between coats)
  9. There are 5.11 ones too but they're something like 20 squid each from Military1st.
  10. Can I just point out I'm pretty sure despite the domain and the pricing that Tactical Gear Trade is not actually a UK website IIRC.

    WE G26

I use Patrol Base for my gas and BBs since I'm local, and they do have some of the best prices on gas and things. I'm not sure what postage costs are like though, but service should be good since they use Interlink Express IIRC.
  12. Drum magazines are unnecessary for airsoft and adds extra weight.

    WE G26

I'm currently using 0.20s but best would be 0.25s. WE Nuprol is supposed to be good, but I can't really say which is best since I've only used one gas which is the WE Europe Premium Green Gas. For maintenance we got some WE maintenance gas and Abbey silicone oil (in a dropper bottle) it should tell you where to put it in the manual but we put some on the gas valve of the mag (I think one) and one drop on the gas router (rectangular thing on the top of the mag) Maintenance gas - says you should use it once every ten mags, just put a bit in with whatever little bit of normal gas is still left. Guy at the shop said after you use it though.
  14. Cheers mate, I think I remember it was Mack who said that too, I'll definitely take a look
  15. Probably won't get anything airsoft related...but I can ask. FMA FAST Helmet Mechanix MC Fast Fit gloves Scope for my M24 This: http://www.airsoftpeak.com/1000d-molle-tactical-profile-p-1073.html
  16. Yeah I knew I wouldn't be able get a proper light-bearing moulded one. I can look some more for nylon ones, but I was wondering if anyone had some good recommendations you might not be able to find so easily. Cheers for the reply.
  17. Looking for a drop leg to accommodate a WE Glock 17 with Nextorch WL10 WML I'll be buying. Getting a Fobus GL-3 (G20/21 holster) but with the flashlight for CQC I need a holster to fit. I'm thinking about the Viper one, or a Condor Tornado? They actually look identical and are pretty much the same price. Basically if anyone could recommend one that's £20-£30 that'd be great Preferably in black too as I'm planning on a CQC police sort of loadout.
  18. Sorry but why are you replacing a TM rubber? Sorry remembered about your status
  19. Eugh I hate em! They look shite too, especially those magazines. Ares internals are really bad as well tbh.
  20. Glocks don't have an external hammer like on a 1911 though. I dunno could be the hammer thing I guess. Good luck fixing it
  21. Those cheap springer airsoft pistols really aren't meant to be disassembled. I've done it with three of mine I used to own and they all broke after that. Basically I took the magazine release out of them all I think, and none of them would go back in. Sorry mate but I have no idea what that part is.
  22. WE M9A1 or WE Gen 4 G17?

Hey I have a WE BERETTA, I guess its a M9A1? I really like it, it has a nice feel to it. It was also £15 cheaper than the G17 at my local shop not sure why. Its probably a bit heavier than the G17 but its light enough to keep it aimed with 1 hand for a long time, atleast it is for me.

Every one seems to use glocks, So i got it to be abit different, plus i prefer the styling of it.

  23. Sorry I'm asking another question...the AirsoftZone description of the WE M9A1 says it's easy to find a suitable holster...can anyone confirm if it is real steel size (so will fit in a real holster?) Deciding between WE M9A1 and WE Gen 4 Glock now.
