Hi all, So I've been on a bit of a research and fps boost mission lately. I've been looking at my array of Rifs on my rack and looking at giving a few a slight fps boost BUT they are all Marui and I dont want to open the gearboxes and let out the fabled marui magic dust. Project A: TM high cycle Aug I got a stock aug in a trade and it was firing around 250-260 fps. I have swapped out the stock barrel for a zci 6.02 340mm barrel and a maple leaf rubber and omega nub and seen an increase up to 295-300 fps! Much better and no extra stress on the gearbox as I beleive it falls within the cylinder volume ratio. Project B: Scar H I have a Laylax (Prommy) 6.03 363mm barrel and hitting 302 fps on the dot almost every shot. My query: I put this barrel in before I knew that different cylinders had different ports and therefore effects on barrels. Would this length be ok based on the stock marui cylinder or would it be detrimental? Project C : Scar L Completely stock. I have a 6.03 300mm madbull tbb lying around to play with and was debating whether it was worth trying this for a night fps boost to 300+ Project D : 416 I had a stock tm 416 with a stock tm 363mm barrel that was initially a placeholder (I beleive it was that length) that I sent to firesupport for a fix (bolt release had stopped and trigger contacts were worn) and service. I asked whilst they had the gearbox open to see what the fps was and to try to get the fps to around 335. It came back to me and I did a quick chrono and it was 335 on the dot for about 5 or 6 shots. I have since re chronod today and to my surprise, hit around 10 shots at 335, then dropped to a 300 fps shot, then a few more at 335, then hit a 351 shot, then generally settled around the 335-345 mark with the occasional stray. I put the augs stock 260(?)mm barrel and added a slight amount of hop tension; it settled around the 330-340 mark. I belive that the hop rubber may have been slightly off centre causing some fps fluctuations. I will be changing the hop rubber for a maple leaf as I think the stock rubber is also slightly worn and flayed at the barrel end. I need to spend an afternoon playing with the hop rubber and barrel to see if it is hop/seal issues that's giving such a fluctuation. Of note; fire support had left the new springs wrapper I'm the box and I'm sure it was an m110 which I thought was too hot for 350 fps limits, bit it could have just been any wrapper used to wrap up the old spring. My ultimate question; What barrels (length and diameter) would people recommend for the Scars to get me at a good 300+ fps that wouldnt add stress to the gearboxes? It's a hard science to nail down "what am bestest gun barrel for bestest fps" due to so many factors. I'm just trying to get a good list of peoples experiences that I can use to help make some decisions with. I'm sorry if it's a very nooby question; i confess to being a bit of a tech divvy and i struggle with numbers!! Tl;dr tm ngrs scar users; what tbb have you switched to and what fps differences have you seen?

I've owned x2 tm spas12s. Are they good? Yes. They're tm! Are they worth £170? Maybe. Could get a second hand for less. My issue is that they're all plastic and feel a little toyish; but performance is good. I have used it as both a se secondary (sling over my back) and also as a primary. I have found it used best as a primary but with a good pistol with plenty of mags as your secondary. I wouldnt recommend it as a woodland primary though. Edit: re range, I think I just used .2's, but then it was only used in cqb

Have a look at the Maruzen Walther P99 Non Blowback; usually comes with a suppressor. They're quiet and also have awesome range for pistols. Not sure how they do compared to the TM mk23. At my local site, theres a guy that runs 2 of these (akimbo style) and is known as the Anzio hitman and he is very quiet, absolute nightmare to play against!

I've bought the following since the start of last year: Kwa M4 (traded for my ICS L86 crow cannon) WE Glock 23 advanced (traded for above m4 this month) WE G18c WE G17 We G23 WE P99 (needs some troubleshooting as it's only hitting 240 fps) G&P LMT M4 TM HC Aug (traded for my WE ACR MSK aeg) I've had a tm/guarder G17 fixed and made skirmishable by Rocketdogbert and had my TM 416 fixed and serviced at firesupport. None of them have been used other than test firing a few rounds and chrono'ing. I've been ticking off what guns I've always wanted with the money saved up during lockdown. Also bought a multiple base for my trmr. Still left on the list: P90 (Cybergun version with trades) MK18 MP7 AK74u

I guess this is untapered? This would go into the cheap sr15 but the cheap sr15 out barrel would only go a few mm into the g&p sr15.

Hi all, I have a g&p sr15 that I am looking to modify and I need some assistance. I have never modded anything that falls under the "m4" bracket, so this is a first for me. What I want to do so swap the outer barrel so that a suppressor sits either flush against the end of the handguard/rail system, rather than further down at the end of the outer barrel that protrudes out of the rail system OR install a suppressor that is integrated underneath the rails. I also want to swap the "DMR style" stock for a standard AR style buffer tube so that I can put a crane or similar style stock. Images below: top is current setup, bottom is what I'm aiming for. Regarding the stock; I took off the dmr stock and I tried to attach a random m4 stock from my brothers old Asia Electric Gun SR15 (same model, different manufacturer mind) but I noticed that the bit that protrudes at the back of the receiver that guides the stock tube in place was considerably shorter on the g&p than the Asia gun. I screwed in the stock tube but when the screw went in all the way, the tube had around 1 or 2 inches of play, sliding backwards and forwards. I then tried to install the shorter outer barrel system from the Asia sr15 onto the g&p sr15 but it was slightly too wide to slot into the front of the receiver. I am now trying to find a stock tube that will fit and an outer barrel that will fit. The outer barrel I'm after is around 13" I beleive (current stock barrel is 17"). Is there any specific tube or barrel that I need? Will it have to be g&p branded or are there certain compatibility with different brands? Can anyone assist?

My first aeg was the classic army ump. Was a good piece of kit but there was one problem with it; the mags are so long you cant go prone very well! Something I've personally not seen is the Cheytac Intervention and some of the other "made famous by video game" snipers. Also Fn2000 and Uzi.

They operate mostly on facebook. It's been a while since I've been there but if you're going to one of thier events, they put new event pages on thier facebook page announced the upcoming games. The sight itself is alright. Its 3 floors; unless things have changed, the top floor is pitch black, the middle is partly lit and the bottom floor pitch black. Torches are a must! This was a vid I shot a few years back; I havent bothered with the camera there since as the footage is always rubbish because of how dark it is!

Are you aware of Sierra 2/Monica CQB at West Midlands Airsoft? It's a cqb site (very tight parts in places) that is dark even in the day. They do evening shoots there which are pitch black this time of year. They are located by the Mercedes Garage and Health Centre on Remer Street in Cobridge.

This particular rif, I can actually say was owned by myself and traded recently. Rocket, remember when we were chatting about my Glock and I mentioned that I had an ACR for trade/sale? This is the one. I know because I put the incorrect gun matrix sticker on the lower and I replaced the stock with a an fde stock rather than the original tan and it accidentally matched the lower receiver in colour. The guy I traded with wasnt the guy selling here and my sale/trade was less than 2 months ago. I bought it about 3 years ago for a bit more than £200 IIRC and it was second hand then.
