I tend to power stroke my pistols so it isn't that much of an issue. It can be a bit of a drag doing a left handed slide release if you have to use your thumb but I've got my own little technique that seems to work!

I don't use lipo's....im old school and still run nimhs'. Just to clarify; I'm looking at trigger response however, here's my current setup: -Vapex 9.6v nimh -M90 spring (its an shs one so its probably closer to m100; puts out 335fps (0.2's) with a tightbore) -All stock internals (minus spring and barrel) -Stock Motor Would you guys think I'd need speed or torque. The only reason that I wanted torque was the trigger response. The R.O.F Doesn't really matter to me as I am cqb-only atm. I'm assuming I'd need high torque for this? Does high torque affect the time it takes to pull the trigger between shots in semi? I have been using semi and pulling the trigger too fast for the gearbox to handle a few times.

Hi all; The time has come for a gearbox upgrade for my VFC Scar-l. I had to replace a gear inthe scar as I lost the self-shimming piece when I dropped it in the garage...can't find the little shite anywhere. It sounds a bit off and its ready for a full revamp inside. I've never done a whole new gear/motor set before. As it stands, it is all vfc stock (self shimming). My question is: I am looking at higher torque rather than r.o.f as I'd rather have the snappy trigger response. What would be the best motor (has to be long shafte type) and gear set? What ratio, brand etc? Apologies for being so vague....I sort of get how it all works but I wanted to make sure as it's my pride and joy!! Thanks all, Andy

FN 5-7 I dual wield them and love them to bits. Not upgraded them once, only use low powered gas and don't clean them as often as I should; but they've been the best sidearms I've owned and constantly outrange most other things including aegs, dmrs and boltie snipers. I understand that some really don't like them cus they aren't the best looking things and they are a bit random....but I love mine

Good day yesterday at Tac-house spartan...even if I did catch 2 players cheating on my gopro multiple times! Anf of course....my camera wasn't switched on during the game wher I got an epic kill streak! Fuming!

One of the things that I'd love to do would be a predator cosplay! My plan would be to get a tri laser embedded in my predator mask; have a moscart launcher as the plasma caster on my shoulder, have two rubber knives fitted on my arm as a guantlet and then run a pistol as my primary. Not a very practical idea, would be costly and just wouldn't suit a game of airsoft.....but it would be coooooool! -

If you are near Leek, you should seriously try Anzio camp mate. I will be there with my team at the next game day on Saturday the 11th. You need to book in online; costs £35 to walk on or £50 to hire a G36c for the day. It's a very strict site but it welcomes new players and is a great day. No pressure from experience players and the marshals are always there to help. Recommended highly! Let us know if you end up going; you could play with us and work as a team! Sniper role - is this sidearm any good?

A mate of mine had one of these. His opinion of it wasn't all the good and that was before he owned any gbb sidearms. A good idea would be to get a good gbb pistol. Personal recommendations would be: TM FN 5-7 TM Sig P226 WE Sig P226 TM Glock series Can only recommend these as I or members of my team have used them and had good performance as side arms and also in cold weather which we are fast approaching. As M_P says, you will probably be using them more than your actual sniper rifle so a reliable sidearm is a must! -
Can anybody recommend a good molle belt? Preferably in OD but will settle for black. Thanks

Would be a good idea to get a yoke too. Just a thought but the padding is good on the PLB (the 3D spacer mesh stuff) so maybe it will slip around less than the Viper one. I'm assuming you're referring to the Viper Belt Platform or whatever it's called? The ones that are only ~ £13 or so. I've got one but only use it for a couple speedloaders / sniper mags + 2 plastic AR mags and a frag pouch. Will be getting a Condor one at some point to replace mine.
