    Isnt there something to do with action fraud teams? I'm sure I've heard somewhere that local plod only deal with fraud if it's someone you know (family member, carer etc) whereas an action fraud team (seperate to local plod) deal with frauds where the offender isnt local to the victim and there are no links between the 2 before the fraud. I dont know how effective they are though or if they would definitely take this on.

    Our of all of the shots that I've been hit with, an ear shot was my most painful by far, so I can really sympathise! I got shot through a tarp at near enough point blank and it sent me a bit funny. Really hurt and through me right off for a few minutes. Less painful but debatably worse; had a tooth shot out around 7 or 8 years ago. I'd been playing around a year at that point and I did my first day without full face protection and got slotted at very close range by someone with a Cyma Mp5 (site rentals at 345 fps). Didnt hurt but felt very cold!

    Welcome man. My first ever game day was at frontier and I've been a good few times since. Everytime I've been, I have always felt welcomed by staff and other players. They have had a number of owners over the years but theyve all been good. It's a site that I would always go back to. The site itself is woodland that has a small "range like" part to the left with obstacles (caravan, old hay bales rtc) and then the main game area to the right, which is woodland is shaped like a bowl with a small fortification in the middle and a few little hides holes. Dont worry about being new, there's always new players no matter what site you go to. Everyone starts off as a new player ? If your based in Stafford, have a look at Stormforce (Rugeley) and Anzio Camp (Leek, but its days are numbered due to some work planned for the site; defo try this 1 before it goes). Theres also a Cqb site in stoke ran by West Midlands airsoft. Good luck and perhaps see you on the field one day.

    Likewise, I had one on this forum recently refunded via paypal after a gun arrived all smashed up, unknown if it was done by the postie accidentally or sent knowingly by the seller. I had no issue with paypal.

    I started a using a gopro and never looked back. At first it was for my youtube channel.and being able to show friends ds and family what it is like and what I get up to. Nowadays, I havent uploaded a video for a few years due to not having the time to sift through all of the footage and edit it all. A quick tip for sifting; switch off the camera when you know there is little or no chance of engagements. I also use a media editor that shows the sound as a visual track so I can see the moments where there is a lot of noise. I do, however, use them for my own protection. I had an incident once where I shot somebody on a flight of stairs from a sneaky and concealed location where the angles were in my favour. The person I shot was adamant that I blind fired them. He made a big deal about it....until he noticed the gopro and then decided that he must have not seen me. I offered footage to the Marshall's but luckily they had seen it all and confirmed no blind fire. I have also caught other instances of cheating and unfair play. I almost caught someone breaking onto our site once but batteries had ran out.

      How do bud , how does the fault manifest it’s self ?

      It cycles ok with no issues but teh slide is slow and it sounds very weak as opposed the crisp and loud sound it usually makes.

      It does fire rounds but sometimes fails to send a round down range.

      I did a temporary fix by stretching the hammer spring slightly and this worked for a little while.

      Got a g&p sr15 that's dead. I think it needs a new switch/trigger contacts as it was firing intermittently on trigger pulls before it died. Also needs some battery Dean's connectors adding.

      Check the motor connectors, they sometimes come off. Then pull the motor out and connect the spade fittings again and pull the trigger, if you have a spare motor do the same thing as a quick test of  the motor and trigger shuttle. May save pulling the gearbox if it’s a dead motor,

    This particular rif, I can actually say was owned by myself and traded recently. Rocket, remember when we were chatting about my Glock and I mentioned that I had an ACR for trade/sale? This is the one. I know because I put the incorrect gun matrix sticker on the lower and I replaced the stock with a an fde stock rather than the original tan and it accidentally matched the lower receiver in colour. The guy I traded with wasnt the guy selling here and my sale/trade was less than 2 months ago. I bought it about 3 years ago for a bit more than £200 IIRC and it was second hand then.       Most users just use recoil compatible mags as you lose the bolt lock feature. I've also heard the have a tendency to drop out. And if you don't realize and slap a standard mag in too far it can break the bolt lock piece. Personally I wouldn't bother.

      People sell the recoil mags on here all the time so just wait to pick them up at a good price...

    Have a view of thier youtube reviews, then compare them to literally any other reviewer. You wont get much from JBBG other than "great gun, great power" IIRC

      As @Steveocee states, getting airflow through is the key. Not wearing head gear is not an option for me as I have a shaved head so I have a pair of ESS Turbo Fan Goggles and they are amazing. Yes they are expensive but after that first game where you can see clearly for the entire time, you realise they are worth every penny!

      Counterpoint to the headgear argument, I find that a 1980s style sweatband around my brow actually helps to stop perspiration running down and steaming off.

       

      Fan goggles though, just do it.  FMAs work fine and won't break the bank.

      Get an Exfog, then you can wear whatever eye-pro you want with them.

      Was a game changer for me.
