  1. easy to look down on us Non TM peasants, I understand 😆
  2. Alot of AEGs have the philips head screw that sits in the buffertube holding it to the gearbox. the castlenut helps to add extra tension.
  3. Every game I go to I take poundland tool set (you know the stubby handle with like 30magnetic bits everything you need to take a rifle apart) and a long screw driver and hex keys it all fits in the front pouch of my gun bag and I'll bring spares too like old hop rubbers and nubs that ive replaced and kept as a back up as id rather be back in the game then have to call it quits. Understandable when you first start off you won thave much but it'll save you so much hastle and agro just by knowing that you can quickily resolve an issue should it arrise.
  4. Here is what ive picked up from the games so far this year. I like sites having under 18's days. not because of the really young 12 year old players (TBH they are always so happy to play with) but its the older teenagers who think overshooting people is funny and purposefully being destructive to purpose built structures. Mil-Sim games. Thats a big nope from me, the day becomes so slow paced and feels more like im feeding into a guys ego more than playing a game. and final thing I've learnt.....More people need to know how to do basic tech work on their guns. Last game I went to 2 dudes went to the stall to buy new guns as the ones they arrived with were too hot. One dude quit after an hour because of gun issues (looked like hop rubber was fucked as BB just fell out) and a dude whos buffer tube was wobbling and he decided to break it off instead of just using a damn screwdriver to tighten it up.
  5. SO, i just got an AS-02 Kneecapper from bespoke. The cylinder has no pins on the rear so im not sure if they are already rolling up an upgraded version already or not. Im very new to bolt guns and im trying to get more fps from my gun. I put in a m140 spring and cleaned things up inside relubed it all and its shooting 294fps with .4s +/- 3.9fps Ive got a maple lead super 70* blue waiting to go in but im waiting till ive had a range day with it to test how the stock rubber shoots before i look at replacing it. Im just wanting to be able to reach out and touch people and save my knees the running about.
  6. Cyma M052 40mm Pistol launcher (purchased from Patrol base for £39.99) Use: Designed to be used with MOSCART shells and TaggInn launchable Pyro Key features: Upper and lower Picatinny rail and safety catch. Simple design with very little to go wrong. Build Quality: Mix of Polymer and metal construction but as this has very few moving parts there is not much that can go wrong with this device. My opinion and overall comments: This small pistol launcher will scratch an itch that other pistols just cant. Using MOSCART shower shells make for quick work when clearing rooms or hall ways without the need to take aim. Paired with the ability to reach out and touch people with Tag pyros make for a fun addition for any day, made even better by the fact this will fit in most universal fabric holsters/water bottle pouch/kangaroo pouch Overall rating: 8/10 Side arms in airsoft dont have much use other than for those who need to adhere to MED rules. This compact launcher changes things and gives you more versatility in games depending on what ammo you decide to use. This is a simple design executed well at a price point that makes it hard to say no too. Overall a solid 8/10. only reason I am not scoring it higher is that I feel it would be nice if some form of grenade iron sites were supplied which does make shooting this with tag rounds difficult to be accurate with.
  7. Judging by the fact that the owners of this "company" are listed as health care workers my assumption would be that they have full time jobs doing something else and check in on their company once a week all too common with people trying to make an easy buck selling stuff.
  8. honestly your reviews have been so well written and unbiased that it helped me pick sites to try and get to. Having also of an yes between the 1-2 hour drive mark makes it hard to chose which ones are work it and what ones aren't and I you have helped me enjoy some good days out based on your recommendation.
  9. Dog tag is my go to site. It has one of the best safe zones and good food. Game modes usually start the day with a attack/defend rush type mode an afternoon is a mix of cqb games or smaller games (tennis ball game being mentioned but they haven't done it the last few times I've been) But I get shot in the face here alot compared to othersites I've been to and it does have the unfortunate fate of having destructive teens playing at times.
  10. Two latest addition to my little arsenal. Not had a pistol in a long time but as I'll have to play to MED rules I needed one. Had 3 scopes laying around from old rifles but they are all dove tail fitment so have to order picatinny ones now before I can doll up the striker.
  11. Easist way to do that would be magnetic rubber wiper inside your goggles with a small magnet on your glove that you could just wipe from the outside without taking the goggles off. Alternativily you can do a railed wiper with the control arm on the outside at the top of the lens.
  12. Well, I reached my 30's and now my knees want to crumble away. I manage one game a month now so the rest of the month is spent letting myself heal so I got my first bolt gun. Went with an Ares Striker Knee Capper and a cheap little Well G17 to go with it. All my years airsofting i never really used a pistol so this will be the first ive owned in a long time. Now, Just have to wait patiently on the porch keeping an eye out for a UPS van.
  13. It seems every site ive gone to like to bash the "bang rule" during the safety brief stating that "we're not some pansy Americans who don't want to get shot" or something along those lines. It seems a general census to just shoot each other and have fun with it. Those rules really do derail a game quick when you get people arguing about who said bang first. As for gamemodes. i am not a fan on gamemodes with "hidden" objectives. it slows the gameplay down and makes for a confusing mess alot of the time. for a milsim game sure it'll work but for a skirmish I want chaos
  14. This is why I like dead rags and really do advocate their use. Last game I went to I didnt take a dead rag and noticed a huge difference with getting shot while walking back to spawn. it seems that even though they are not used people recognise what the red rag means and its a hell of a lot easier to positively ID someone you know is out of the game. This goes onto my next point. arm bands, I sat looking at one dude for ages because i couldn't see his other arm and was unsure if i had flanked enemy or a friendly was pushed up with me. I didnt shoot for fear of taking out a friendly but I did end up getting lit up while I was trying to figue it out. Id love to see more sites use the opposite arm rule to help identify players.
  15. Wanting a new gun for longer range so do I get a kc-02 or a striker kneecapper or just accept that I'm meant to be saving and not buying more Airsoft gear.....

Depends on the mode. If im attacking i'll run in using my M4 and tags for full assault but defence I like to sit back and try and pick off.

If you go Kneecaper, you need to go full meme CQB though to estabilish dominance:

  16. ITS FINALLY OVER!!!! Can we get Tetley tea to sponsor a background ad next please.
  17. The Nuprol 30-120 end mags are good IMHO. You can restrict your self for.milsim games or give your self a nice ammo count.
  18. Kayaking mainly tidal rivers and flat water till I can lose weight and get into white water. Downhill mountain biking I'll do every now and then. It's the uphill biking I'm not fond off. And for winter PC gaming(PCVR) and snowboarding. Have to find things to keep me busy year round otherwise I'll end up being productive at work and I don't want that, bastards will give me more responsibility.
  19. Went and played at DogTag yesterday for my nephew's first game. Have to say for his first time the day could not have been any more perfect. The weather was spot on th crowd was friendly with good hit taking throughout the fay. the reffs were awesome as always at this site and the games flowed well. The nephew was clearly trigger happy. Ammo that'll usually last me 4 games he used up by lunch time but it's worth it to see him enjoying himself. Only thing that annoyed me during the day was some douch teen (typically HPA +dye i5 - is that the prerequisite?) Trying to kick through walls and destroy stuff. Also in typical fashion the day I can't find my faceshield I ended up taking about 10 hits to the lips. I now resemble JayZ. Really want to get a DMR now for this site though as it has so many long line of site shots.
  20. First game with h my new chest rig and top. It's hard to find good clothing when you're a big guy. Vest is a he Emerson gear MK3 filled up with 5 nuprol 30-120med caps (really love these mags) The gun is a cluster of parts. Put together. G& P receiver - cyma gearbox (with rocket gears and shs motor) - nuprol bocca m-lock rail + bocca silencer - madbull 6.03tbb - winpro rotary hop - patrol base unbranded buffer tube and outer barrel - magpul MOE stock clone. Never really had experience tecking on a gun so building everything up from scratch was fun and nice to learn gun lasted all day without any issues. All in all I'm happy with my load out for now but I would like to get a GBBR next.
  21. Hey guys just wanting to know if anyone here will be attending the game this weekend at Dogtag (holmbush events) Taking my nephew for his first game and would be nice to show the kid the community so that he can see if just a friendly bunch of guys who like to play toy guns.
  22. I still have my blessed Rift CV1 - its old but its still awesome. I was hoping to upgrade my GPU before getting an index but seeing as it'll be a while till i can get a GPU ill just wait to see what else new comes out. As for games - I expect you to die and budget cuts are two of the best VR games ive played so far. Pavlov vs onward for shooters - Onward feels better to play but pavlov feels more polished. All hail the cook-o-tron takes a basic cooking game and make it addictive as hell.
  23. Judging by the fact this guy has almost been struck off twice, bases out of his home It would suggest that he does this as extra income and either drop ships like a smart man or what else ive seen is buying off twiwan gun directly to himself then resending it off once he's received it (wouldn't be the first time ive seen this happen)
  24. Used to live in dover and would always walk up the hill to nose about thinking it would be awesome for airsoft....now I have to make sure I can get a damn ticket.
  25. Listed price including postage or is this collection only?
