Judging by the fact this guy has almost been struck off twice, bases out of his home It would suggest that he does this as extra income and either drop ships like a smart man or what else ive seen is buying off twiwan gun directly to himself then resending it off once he's received it (wouldn't be the first time ive seen this happen)

Used to live in dover and would always walk up the hill to nose about thinking it would be awesome for airsoft....now I have to make sure I can get a damn ticket.

So I finally got around to taking my gun apart and after a bit of tinkering and actually paying attention I was able to figue my issue out. The gears I had (Rocket not SHS i just misread the sales page) They were slightly thicker than the OEM gears and they were catching on the bushings. Thinning out the bushing on the bevel gear solved the issue and now the gears are spinning freely. Thanks for all your suggestions :d

My worst one seems mild to all of these. I was charging a position and took a BB right in the gob, hit the back of my throat and had me gagging and coughing all day after. Made eating and drinking a pain for a few days after. Now always have face pro as dont want that experience again.

I'll have the gearbox open later to see what they are looking like. I wouldn't bother sending them back if its something I can resolve myself but thats kind of you. I didnt notice any separation or issues with the teeth as I inspected them before fitting them.

Stock Bushing, it seems the spur gear is the issue as I started on the bevel which span fine after a shim. I then moved onto the spur gear and it all seemed tight. removed all shims and was still tight but wasnt sure if it was my fat fingers not getting in to spin it well so added the sector gear all without any shims in place and I could only get the gear set to spin about 90* before something locked up and it required more forced to spin full 360* I would think to remove material from the bushing but not sure if that would be the best call as I fear the gear would rub against the body. and no, its not a reinforced gearbox.

Its a non quick change. Like i say theres nothing else in the gearbox while im trying to spin it other than the gears and bushings.

I have Cyma project gun that im working on. I recently got some new gears for it (13:1 SHS) without any shims in place and only the gears in the gearbox i cant get them to spin freely. I have to push hard with my fingers to get all 3 gears to rotate 360* I cant see any bowing in the gearbox and i removed all shims to make sure nothing else was interfering. I dont know what I should do next as I dont want to start cutting away bits only to find ive cut the wrong thing. Any ideas?

Yeah I just remember in the last game seeing a tag land at my feet thinking "that bastard" There was a lot of moaning that's for sure. Guy in red team having ago at marshals during the second game. Lots of people calling cheat when their bb's were falling short. Had one guy yell at me if his gun was reaching me just yelled back "no, let's see if this will reach you" and shot a tag towards him.

That's meant to say "the" but small phone + fat fingers & being absolutely shattered from the day means my spelling goes out the window.

Well I had my first game back today at apocalypse. Was a mixed day but it was fun to see another guy with nnyhe otherside shooting tag rounds back and me.

Cosmetic is not a drawback. Its a preference. You're taking everything out of context to what this thread is asking. Im not saying those who skirmish should have two tone. I said I wouldn't want to tempt fate by pushing to allow what constitutes as a defence be broadened as that may attract negative attention. Those who use airsoft solely for practical shooting wont be impacted by only being limited to two tone guns in any way. The preference for us skimers is to blend it, which is why we want RIF, it serves no additional purpose.

Honestly seeing at how things have turned out for Australia and Canada Im happy with our laws in UK. not perfect but I dont want to rock that boat and start getting negative attention by pushing it. Honest though, 3 games to get a UKARA defence and practice if your 3 gun skills translate is a better idea than just not trying a skirmish. Besides 2 tone doesnt change how a RIF performs so theres no draw back to them.

My god! this so much....I got a G&P receiver for my first scratch build and foudn out the hard way the thread was off. but I will say the metal the body is made off held up to alot of torque I was putting on it to make my Nuprol barrel nut fit. Considering you can pick up G&P receivers for as little as £60 if you find the right person they are well worth it. Id love to try another build with a E&C one to see what the differences are.

Got it last summer, played a few games before lockdown. I'm a heavy set guy and I've fallen on it a few times. Not snapped off so that's a plus. Here's how it looks on my gun.

I've got the nuprop bocca m-lock rail way n my rifle currently. It has a slanted front which looks nice with a silencer. Cost £35 happy with it. It is cheap pot metal but for that price it's what you expect.

Accessory Name and maker: TagInn EVO Shell (Green gas model) Use: 40mm shell to launch TagInn projectiles. These come in pyro, smoke, powder, and dummy rounds. Key features: This shell is designed to only he used with green gas. Not suitable for Co2 or HPA. Shell comes apart for easy maintenance. Build Quality: good build quality. No issue with fitment in standalone grenade launchers but there are some issues with underbarrel m203 launchers where some modification is required to ensure fitment. My opinion and overall comments: Green gas EVO Shell is the cheapest option of the link line up. While the EVO PRO Shell is the same price it does require a Co2 adapter to he purchased to ensure that you can charge the shells. Range, projectiles were easily reaching 100ft with ease but this is shorter than what the Co2 and HPA are able to offer. Due to the lower power of green gas, the fuse is not ignited upon being fired. Out of 10 projectiles fired none went off on their fuzed delay. How ever, if you hit hard object such as tree or structure the impact will ignite the fuze. Overall rating: While overall I am happy with the product, due to the unreliability of the shell being able to ignite the fuze it renders the projectile moot. 7/10

Not all do. and tbh them not sitting flush is a good thing otherwise gears would rub on the shell. so test a fit first then see how it goes.

Having glasses on is a horrible thing is airsoft. two lots of surface to really fog up. Ideally a goggle which sits far from the face is a nice idea. Alternative opitiions are ballistic proscription glasses. which would normally set you back at least £50 for a good set.

Have your bookings been confirmed then. Saw on their FB that they are flogged under with booking requests. Guess everyone is eager to get back on the field.

Well I was waiting to find out how my shifts at work will change but they can screw themselves I'm pulling a sickie if they decide they want me to work. Its more than suitable. when measuring impact you're looking at energy it can disperse without failure. so z871.1+ is the 2015 revision marking to mean that it is "high mass impact rated" meaning that to pass they have to dissipate at least 6.22J of energy this is equal to a sniper shooting .4g bb at 570fps (which btw is almost x3 higher than what UK sites allow for snipers (usually 2.3J)
