Second the statement about facepro....used to never use it and just accept guys shooting their load on my face. But after one BB hitting me open mouth and getting swallowed, once the flashbacks to catholic school passed I vowed to use facepro. Also, before the game starts get you and your mates to shoot each other first. It'll get you over the anxiety of "does it hurt" and help you enjoy the game from the get go. It's what I did with my 12 year old nephew admittedly I got a bit too much joy from shooting him but the little fucker kept taking the piss out of my name so worth it. Enjoy the game call the hits and enjoy the game.its not about getting kills it's about playing the objective helps to think that way so that you don't get wound up if you think people aren't calling hits.

You say you tried to change the spring, did you succeed in changing it or did you open it up get confused and put it back together. If you did change it then logic would say the spring is the issue. If you didn't manage that then it seems maybe something got thrown off. Not worked on a split gearbox my self so don't know what issues those may throw up.

The Emerson gear mk 3 is a tidy little vest. Will hold 6 m4 mags or 4 g36 mags. The bottom pouch has velcro too so you can add another 3 m4 or 2 g36 with ease. A well set up safe zone is my favourite. I think it's why I love dogtag Airsoft so much, their safe zone has excellent shelter and seating. Although I'm tempted to get a camper just for Airsoft so i can always be in ultimate comfort. You're already lugging gear about what's more a waterproof jacket. Besides I'll always favour a rain day over a heatwave day. Rain motivates to move and warm up, heat on the other hand is just murder.

Well, had a very wet day of mixed feelings at dogtag Airsoft in Crawley today. Day started off well good turn up of people for the morning game with the typical attack/defend rush game mode. they changed the defender teams respawn to a moving one instead of one life then fall back to next field. Honestly have mixed feelings about that but did feel to have more engagement so felt positive. Marshals were spot on as always,.don't think I've ever had issue with them aside from their timings. If a marshal says 10minutes assume they meant 20. Being a day of horrific weather most people left after lunch which was rather disappointing as they didn't know what game to run as numbers went from what felt like 80 ish down to 9. First afternoon game was a 4v5 death match on a field with too much open line of sight and not enough cover or concealment other than waist hight barricades which are useless if you're trying to move about to find people. After that game another 4 people left leaving just 5 of us trying to figure out what to do for the last hour of the day. We all chose to disable MED rules and the "no full auto" rule and headed to the CQB field and continued to play a every man for himself death match will marshals moving around the field for respawn. Honestly I'd say it resulted in one of the best games of the day. On a plus side it was my first time using my new G36 GBBR and it performed brilliant. Had to get used to ammo limitation and reloading mags between spawns but it made my experience all the better. The team at dogtag were apologetic about everyone leaving and I don't blame them for the crap afternoon game that occurred because I doubt they expected THAT many people to leave (pussies) and they did redeem themselves after seeing why/how that mode failed and made the following game worry it. Also it seemed there was a load of pyro left over so it became a drag fest pretty quickly.

I have a co2 g17 I'm using currently and I'll get a good 3-4 mags before it's dead. I like to add a drop of silicon oil to the valve before I insert a new bulb and never leave one in after game day.

Hmm seems odd, only ask as I got an m052 last year and I've been shooting tags from it fine without any issues and didn't need to modify anything. Wounder if there was a change in design since.

Out of interest what did you need to modify to get it to fire tag shells?

Did have 7 ordered but took few off because I realized I had no way of carrying the extra ones. After feeling how heavy my chest rig is now with everything on I'm.glad I choose only 5.

Got a feeling I'm going to knock my self out running around with these on a chest rig. Guess I have to treat myself to a battle belt.

My army armament g36 arrived today the magazine's my god they are heavy gotna feeling ill be losing a fair bit of weight on Sunday lugging around those on my kit.

now just imagine some one has taken the Kar 98 and hpa tapped it and put on a m4 mag conversion kit. How would that make you feel?

Might be worth giving it fresh lube and working it into the moving parts to see if that helps.

Well, been a good few years since I last had a gbbr so I thought id get the only one that seems in stock anywhere with mags also available and picked up the Army R36 (G26c) for £160 and only £29 a mag it seemed silly to not go fo. Never actually had a g36 before so will be interesting to see how it feels. Got a game booked in at dogtag Airsoft so will get to really test the gun out in the different fields they have to offer.
