  1. Cant help you with that I'm afraid, Ive also got an A3 front and tend to just use that gas block with the DD rail !
  2. 30's for me since I am usually going GBBR. I find that 5 mags and a speed loader easily last me an hour game. I generally refill each mag once ( I enjoy th imersion of reloading mags in a quiet moment) but will generally have a full mag left at the end. I also enjoy the tactics that limited ammo require, working my way closer, making sure I've got a target, double tapping instead of switching to auto.

Interesting that Glock went after a retailer rather than the actual manufacturer , wonder if airsoft splat were making a big issue of 'Glock' in their ads
  4. The original is just a solid 'bar' all the way across that fits into a recess at the back of the plastic hand guard , the later one has a slot in it in the middle. If you line the DD rail up with it you will see where it needs filing out. I just ordered the replacement incase I buggered up the filing !
  5. Nice, and welcome to the deep rabbit hole that is an L119 build ! looks a good starting point for an A1

Ah but do they actually do so ? and easy enough to avoid those retailers .

The MP7 came from a UK retailer, but fair point. The point being though in relation to the thread, that if you buy a TM you will probably get trades (not essential but lets face it nice to have) and a petter pistol and still cheeper than the VFC version with better spares availability in the UK

Does the TM version come without trades these days ? 'cos I had a brand spanking new TM MP7 in my hands recently that had pretty much the same trades as my Umarex GBB one. On the WE front , i've quite a few WE pistols and GBBR's and have never yet had one fail on me despite alot of use and quite a bit of abuse.
  9. Take it your Spectre didn't come with a killflash then ? what brand is it ? mine had a killflash included. https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/eatsleepgolf Got mine from here. Might be worth dropping him a message to se if he has or can get the correct one

    Tm cqbr

I've never understood why people buy a TM (supposedly the best guns out there, and expensive to start with) and then spend a fortune 'upgrading' them. Now don't get me wrong I'm all for upgrading guns and love tinkering with mine, but TM's are supposed to be perfect out of the box. Bloke at our local site spent a fortune on a purchase and full upgrade of a TM NGRS and I dont think it ever actually completed a single game without failing in some way. it was always going back to the tech. Each to their own though , but tinkering with TM rifles seems to cause all sorts of issues.
  11. I ordered a spare front reciever block for my WE L85 so I could modify it to work with a R/S rail. When it arrived it was already modified ! i think WE have updated the part to work with a genuine rail. https://www.kyairsoft.com/parts/we-rifles-gbbr/l85-series/l85-40-gbbr.html This part
  12. The bit circled in blue is the loading nozzle and it should indeed move back and forth as the gearbox cycles. Is the gun new ? if so probably easiest to send it back. If you want to fix it yourself though you are going to have to open up the gearbox as the nozzle is moved by the tappet plate which is internal. May have popped off or there may be a damaged part. If you havn't opened a gearbox before then get yourself onto youtube and watch a few videos first, also watch a coupke about stripping down an MP5 as they are different to an M4 and indeed there are several methods of strip down for MP5's so have a hunt for a video that matches your model.
  13. Have a look at the hammer and make sure it hasn't cracked . I've known 1 or 2 where the hammer has snapped off. Yours may be damaged and thet might be snagging the slide.
  14. Then I suspect you have been lucky, or A/G have paid attention and improved the locking mech. Mine (and I've had 2) were both fine to start with but over time the locking system has failed.
  15. Maybe the issue is specific to the 119 A2 type ones , they just stop locking basically . Fit can on flash hider rotate locking collar and can still loose or even just falls off. Seems to be a common issue with that particular model.
  16. The A/G Surefires have a habbit of the locking system failing after a while. The number of folk on the Facebook L119 owners club page that have had issues is huge , including me. https://airsoftartisan.com/products/airsoft-artisan-fh556-style-silencer-with-fh216a-flash-hider?variant=31118422114363 Got one of these now and it's rock solid. Dytac SureLiar SOCOM RC1 Supressor 1574mm - Acetech Tracer compatible - Airsoft World also got one of these which is awesome. Doesn't use a flash hider just screws straight on to the barrel . Ive used both on my L119 GBBR with no issues. If you want it removable with an integral flash hider get the Airsoft artisan one, if you are happy to just leave it fitted I'd get the Sureliar
  17. You certainly want to clean the inner barrel (best to do that after every game day) . Cant hurt to clean and relube the bolt too, but not as essential. I tend to strip my GBBR's and clean the bolts and re apply lube monthly or if I've been playing in very mucky conditions I'll do it post game.
  18. Todays (mainly) DPM loadout of choice with the L119 A1 GBBR. Just after the pic was taken the sight protector took a hit, saved the sight though !
  19. Cracking day today. Only 20 odd players so we played a load of 30 minute games . All very punchy and hard faught but all extremely good natured. I do like low number days, play tends to be much more tactical 'cos we all know each other and naturally fall into working together properly. Had a clear demonstration of why sight protectors are a good thing when the protector on my 552 took a hit and broke. Sight was fine though. And the GBBR's were really rocking 😁
  20. In the car at the mo I've got Black Sabbath, AC/DC, blackberry Smoke and Whitesnake. And 'cos I've been enjoying the sunday lunches I dug out my (cassete) copy of Toyah's Anthem . Yes I still have a casette player / multi CD combo in the car !
  21. Never, no one ever needs one of the things. Granted I am an absolute technophobe and see them as pointless stupid electronic crap that will fail at some point ! 🤣
  22. Not a RIF I have, but isn't there a system in these (lever?) that stops it firing when the mag is empty ? I'd be looking at that, maybe something got forced out of place when it hit the ground. If that's the case then the mag that alows dry firing wont alow it to cycle either.

    Jg aug a3

I'd second the ZCI barrel, got one in mine and its a very good barrel. Personally hop rubber wise I tend to use either Maple leaf or Rocket ones, but Prommy should do well. On the spring front, it'sworth checking to see if it has an adjustable spring guide . Many JG's do and my AUG has one (discovered once I'd opened the box to fit a stronger spring !) The AUG is a great platform and nice and easy to work on, have fun with it.

    WE gbbRifles

Yep I prefer the A1 to the A2 tbh, but I had the front spare after i swapped my aeg A2 to a short , so ....... 🤣

    WE gbbRifles

L11 L119 A1 short (the top one is mine) and A2 long build in progress. Both have stock hop with Maple leaf rubber and omega nub fitted and Crazy jet barrels. The A1 has an RAtec NPAS but the A2 is a DMR so runs unfettered. The A1 has RA tec internals in the trigger box but not due to any failures just that I had them and decided to fit them. The A1 has had a lot of use with typically 1000 / 1200 rounds through it on a game day and loads in the garden. No failures of stock parts and both run red gas pretty much all year unless its a very hot day.
