  1. Ran mine today, very impressed with how it shoots out of the box. Seems happy on .30's decent range and accuracy . Going to keep the power level at 'skirmish' levels rather that sniper. Fun to use it that way.
  2. It's an A1 , although I'm building a long A2 to run as a DMR at the moment. Mine is the top one, bottom one is an ongoing build for a mate which will go for machining and engraving when my A2 goes off.
  3. I carry 5 mags and a speed loader for my GBBR L119 . A gas fill will give me 2 plus loads of BBs, I just reload the mags when things are quiet
  4. Do you mean the S&T based lightweight one ? they seem to be out of stock everywhere at the moment , as does the S&T version. It's likely just down to covid related supply issues, lots of things are out of stock but slowly coming back on stream. I'd put a couple of 'notify me' requests on your preferd retailers sites .
  5. I'm sorry, paint what ? I'm painting a fence today , is that the same sort of thing ?
  6. Lol thank you !, You can get unissued British ones on Ebay too, and I probably will at some point. But concentrating on replacing some fittings and sorting the wood colour first. The 303 was the first gun I handled, shot and learned to field strip at school, but ours were more of a mid oak sort of colour so aiming for that. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/224650458459?hash=item344e35f55b:g:To0AAOSwm3ZgAXP1 Thats the unissued Brit ones.
  7. Certainly an AK sling, had it knocking about so decided to use it. Bought it a few years ago off ebay. Fits the 303 very nicely tbh.
  8. It really was a very small amount of fettling. 5 minutes with a file . I popped off the black plate behind the front sight (it's just a press fit) and filed the front lip down a bit , kept trying the front cap and filing untill it fitted . I deliberatly left it at the 'quite tight' stage . The original front cross bolt and lower screw went straight back in.
  9. Posted it on the Lee Enfield thread, but what the hell ! S&T 303 now with a genuine front cap and my Father in law's old bayonet
  10. Genuine front cap fitted, needed very slight fettling, and my Father in laws bayonet . Not the greatest picture, I'll take more at the weekend.
  11. Bespoke have got some again , but priced at £459 ! making a profit is one thing as is supply and demand, but hell's teeth thats 50% more than I paid Patrol base last week
  12. Hi Peter, I'm in North Devon and could see a group of us being up for a trip down for some target shooting . Feel free to drop me a DM if you want to chat about ideas . Nick
  13. My understanding is that while the L119 A2 has been seen with this style can ,the later version without the weld bead and a different locking collar is more common for the A2 (more like the Angry Gun one) . I'll probably do a bit of work on the 'weld' and do a bit of paint on the can, but it'll basically stay black to match the RIF 'cos #Black Guns Matter !
  14. Airsoft Artisan suppressor for my L119 A1 GBBR . Very nice bit of kit, much more solid than the Angr Gun one and the correct early pattern for the A1
  15. I use Geoffs Bio ones that I get via Ebay . Use .40's in my sniper and have .36's for the DMR I'm building. Very happy with the quality and consistancy of them.
  16. Showing as out of stock already ! Lots of genuine parts on ebay. Just ordered a nose cap. Father in law's bayonet should look a treat on it 🤣
  17. Got mine today too, Patrol base at their best ! Does look and feel right (I learned to shoot with a 303 at school) Anyone seen spare mags in stock anywhere ?
  18. Will do, I suspect there would be a demand. Was thinking about getting a dozen or so, one each for myself and the mate with one, couple of spares and then a few that others can buy.
  19. I had them added. Jim at LC's engineering did them for me on mine and a mate's one. they were the first ones he did so he spent wuite a bit of time getting fonts etc as close as he could to the referance pictures I sent him. Have to say I am very pleased with the result. I've added real steel grips and the small single safety for a more specific look.
  20. As above, the valve knocker is prone to breaking, I do plan to see about getting some steel ones cut when I can get to a local engineering place. They are very cool, mine has full British army trades, and can be skirmished but the knocker will fail at some point. Get one !
  21. That's probably down to the cold. 200 fps on .25's is just under .5 j . Bear in mind that TM being a Japanese company work to their 1 j max power . TM rifles also chrono low but still match any others for range I'm told. If the Hi cappa was working well and still getting decent range in the cold then it sounds OK . I run mainly GBBRs these days and power levels are markedly lower when the temperatures drop below 10 degrees.
  22. Amazing work, though personally not a fan of the MP5, that colour actually makes it look like a toy rather than looking real to my eyes. But keep the amazing work coming !
  23. Personally I'd go for the GBB, but then I play pretty much exclusivly gas these days. Prefer the extra imersion of the recoil (yes I know the ngrs recoils) and the fact that GBBRs strip like the real steel and don't like the extra complications of recoil on an aeg and unnecisary electronic systems . Each to there own , the TM ngrs range has a great reputation although I believe there have been some issues with the MP5
  24. This is what I did, the polycarb is shaped to follow the contours of the top of the sight. Attached with double sided tape. Not visible from a couple of feet away and very secure.
