JG MP5, a couple of weeks ago. My second as iv'e got the SD version as well, the new one is the standard version with the fixed stock. Cost me all of £72 and as usual is a ridiculously good gun for stupid money. Took it out yesterday and ran it all afternoon and never once felt under gunned . Decent range and accuracy on .25's and the battery space in the stock takes the 4400 mah battery that I use in my XR5. Adjustable spring tension too, got it set at 305 fps on the .25's and it will go further. Fantastic little guns right out of the box, reliable and capable and cheep enough not to worry about. -
If the battery in the Tissot has gone, get it removed . I'm a jeweller and I see so many batteries that have been left and have leaked causing all sorts of damage to the movement.

Yet more parts for my L119 build ! this was supposed to be a project over a few months you understand 😁 Still it's been a stressful couple of weeks and tinkering with the build in the garage has been good therapy........that's my excuse and I am sticking to it ! -

Receiver set with trades for an L119 build. One of those things I fancy doing but was always a bit put off by the faff of getting the engraving done. Let the building commence ! -

Few bits of Maple leaf goodness for my MEU. -
The gunfire parcel arrived today, that's inside a week with no problems at all.

A group of us placed an order with Gunfire at the weekend, 3 guns, all showing as limited stock. So now we wait and see. Good prices so if they arrive great, but none of us are holding our breath !

WE open bolt L85, had been converted for use as a laser training weapon .Bought it as a project expecting it to be an aeg that had been gutted, got a nice surprise when I found out how much was still in there. Pretty much sorted now 😁 Started like this , Ended up like this

A mate and I wanted a project gun to work on, so I bought an 'unknown' L85 from the airsoft jumble at our site on sunday. It had been stripped out and converted to use as a laser training weapon for cadets. There are no internals I was told, that's ok I thought , excuse to buy and tech a gearbox and suitable hop unit etc. So haggled and got it for £30 including the dummy mag, which is machined from a solid aluminium billet ! Any way got it home and opened it up to take a look, and its full of wiring for the laser conversion , but wait a minute that's a whacking great bolt, and there is an inner barrel and that looks like most of a trigger box, Its only a bloomin WE GBB version, the cost of the few internals that are actually missing is going to be less than if it was an AEG, the mags on the other hand are a bit pricey . All the parts are ordered , soooo looking foreword to getting it on the range ! -

https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/jing-gong-0449a-au-g2-aug-bullpup-aeg?pv=2672 one of these , despite not intending to buy any more guns for a while, but when your wife says 'go on treat yourself' who am I to argue ! -
Great review ! just ordered one, Taiwangun have got them on special and they are so cheep it would be daft not to . Don't plan to ever skirmish it , but serious fun for the collection.

It's a great version of the song . Been watching this version of a Diamond Head classic

Lol, BUT Most importantly it doesn't look like an M4 😁

Ah, that would explain the complete lack of recognition then, last computer game I bought was Tomb Raider 2 !
-
Right, I can kind of see that. But what the hell is Halo ?
-
I've got the 'green' version with the alternative stock, people keep telling me it looks like the Halo gun ! What the hell is the Halo gun ?

Love my XR5, run it with a 4400 Mah lipo and it lasts all day. Fitted a burst control set to 4 round . And its not an M4 !!!!

Actually bought a couple of weeks ago but only unwrapped and assembled today . Birthday Well L96, its the MB08 version with folding stock and the fluted outer barrel. I was pleasantly surprised to find a metal trigger box and metal piston and spring guide too. Will open up the bolt to check the grease levels later but wanted to chrono it out of the box before I start tinkering. Had a consistent 532.4 on 20's which I have to say was a surprise. Will hop it for 30's and see if it scrapes under the 500 on 20's. Pics to follow ! -

Programmable 'burst' control thingy. Has a low battery warning which is handy and programmable burst from 1 to 12. Got it set at 5 at the mo but only takes seconds to change. Installed it in my XR5 which has a HUGE battery compartment, I run it with a 4400 mah lipo, and it all tucks in nicely. First impressions are very good. Will try it next time out and see how it does.
