  1. No problem with painting it

When did you last clean and inspect the barrel ?
  3. From what I can see they take a unique rubber not a VSR type , and the bolt / nozzle assembly will likely also be non compatable with other MP7s except I think , KWA if I remember correctly they are the original manufacturer.
  4. I've got one of those too, must get round to actually using it ! Lol
  5. Not a single one of my RIF's has a mosfet ( more bloody electronics to go wrong , I hate tech ! ) and they all run 7.4 Lipo's . Biggest thing to be aware of is not over discharging the battery. If I use the same gun all day I change the battery at lunch time.
  6. Our local site tests Joules using your own BBs . Seems sensible to me , while joule creep isn't too much of an issue with AEGs it very much is with snipers and GBBRs . 1.13 j seems to be a relativly standard level for most sites since it equates to the usual 350 fps on .20s . I think more sites are becoming aware of the issues surrounding heavy BBs in some platforms now and are quite rightly measuring joules to make sure that they and you are complying with the law, by setting a limit below 1.3 j they are alowing some headroom for both. Will people still try to cheat chrono ? yes , some people will but it is a better way to check outputs.
  7. Mine is off having full trades engraved at the moment, can't wait to get it back !
  8. If it's the WE get into the habbit of cocking it before you put a mag in, the valve knocker is prone to breaking otherwise.
  9. I've got the Umarex one and it's an absolute hoot to use. Happily lifts .30's , seems pretty accurate in use. Mine came with the CQB bolt fitted so is running at about 1 joule. Seems happy on Nuprol Green or Red gas. Cant comment on the TM version but I'm sure someone will be able too before long.
  10. I have a Maple leaf 50 degree rubber, I key, hop wheel and crazy jet in my G18 , and in most of pistols , run them all on .30's although they will happily lift heavier.
  11. new GBB MP7 with a few little extras fitted. This thing is so much fun ! Mini RMR on the way for it which will sit on a riser that I already have.
  12. Umarex (KWA I think) MP7 GBB , what a complete hoot to use !
  13. Ran my E&L SU for a game yesterday, I always forget how bloody good it is !

MOE would probably work. Pic from the last game day, must look for the others I've got of it. Mine is actually WE based , has trades, all the correct milling on the upper (front edge , extra slot and cut away over charging handle) and on the buffer tube (threads removed). Barrel shortened and lug removed. Buffer tube, stock, mag catch and fore grip are all R/S and I have a correct DIS for it. I also modded the lower KAC rail section so it appears to have the second securing system to match the one on the top section.

Lol The storm grip is very comfy to use , black ergo grip as seen on the A2 would work. That build should look pretty damn good. Had an interesting moment at the local site a few weeks back when I was up there testing my 119 on their chrono . Chap walked out of the game zone strolled past and did a classic cartoon type double take from 10 or 12 feet away 'whose is the C8 ? where did you get a C8 ?' every one else at the sight thinks its a bloody M4 🤣 TBF I have gone a looong way down the path with it though .

Nice, how far down the L119 path do you want to go ? Very minimum i would say is , Storm pistol grip, correct stock and barrel shortened to 10" Then you can get realy into it and have the correct machining done on the upper reciever and on the buffer tube ! 🤣
  17. My go to for glocks is ML rubber , I key and Crazy jet barrel
  18. Had a blast playing yesterday, but my god it was bloody hot and no moving air down in he woods. Went through a bottle of water each game but started to struggle in the end so called it a day about 3. Took 2 AEG's and my gas L119 A1, AEGs never left the safe zone ! That's 4 consecutive games now where I've only run gas , I love GBBRs and the tactical play they demand but usually mix it up with an AEG . WE haters take note that it hasn't missed a beat in a game and it's had several thousand BBs through it in testing gaming and garden plinking. 5 single mags one double mag and a speed loader and I'm good for a game. One gas fill gives me about 2.5 BB loads per mag . 3 GBBRs on our team yesterday, the noise in the woods was Awesome 😁
  19. If you are planning a proper L119 A2 build, start with any standard M4. That'll get you close for barrel length, 119 is a 10" barrel for a short or 15.7" for a long . Either CQB or carbine length M4 will be too long but barrels can be cut . Just read you are doing a short, so CQB M4 will get you started.
  20. Which version did you get ? there is a TM specific one , not sure what the thread is on that. I've fitted 2 of the normal A2 fronts, one for my AEG build on a Cyma reciever and one on a WE GBBR , had no issues with either, the included barrel nut went on fine. Alternativly maybe the MK18 has a unique thread size.
  21. Hi, I've got a mk22 and generally find that it's pretty good with most mags. I tend to run flash mags (laylax from memory) although I do have 1 nuprol P mag which fits and works fine. I do have a couple of old non brand hi caps that are a bit twitchy in it though. That said I dont think I've ever used mid caps in it though, have you got anu other mags to try ? I'm leaning towards a mag issue , do they feed ok in another rif ?
  22. Yep , few bits for the gas L119 A2 I'm building for a mate. CTR stock and AFG . Also a mil spec buffer tube and an Ergo grip.
