    The Site reviews will now be winding down, my BattleBuddy has quit Airsoft for good so my regular ride is no longer.  

     

    I will be popping in to a few new sites that have come up within Public transportable distance recently, but wont be able to do much beyond that unless the largess of others comes through! (I am doing my driving lessons, but still a bit off yet til my test!)

     

    Also starting a family this year so I will need to take at least year out when the nippers come along of course!

      Lies! I have 4 nippers and a 5th due at the end of Feb. Am already planning NvS in May!

       

      Sorry to hear about your battlebuddy throwing in the towel though, I appreciate sometimes airsoft is also about the social aspect rather than the "shoot fools" aspect.

       

      Have really enjoyed reading your site reviews.

      @Steveocee Thanks for the kind words. 

       

      It will be mine and missus first and I dont want to miss the first year at least. She has a dim view of Airsoft as it is! We had a long talk about it and this was the best compromise that we could come up with :)

       

      For him its his Arthritis, its gotten so much worse in the past 6 months and has only played twice in that period. I have arthritis as well, but I am managing it better for the moment.

      I always enjoyed reading your reviews as they were balanced and honest without being nasty. Top work so far and I look forwards to reading more when a) Your nipper is a year old and b) you have passed your driving test. 👍

    Honestly I would love to give it another go as it was mostly down to problems with things other then the playing area and safe zone, which are fairly easy to remedy! The playing area is top notch.

    My brand new 70 euro Tavor came! Only the cheapest ABS plastic throughout with even worse ABS around the charging handle, stock, Iron sights and Handguard. However, it fires and it hops. Nice aluminium barrel, nicely done wiring, metal gearbox and it's incredibly lightweight! Bizarrely the fire selector is better then both the one on the S&T Pro and KWA GBBR. Nice and stiff. For 70s euros I really cant complain. It will be upgraded as much as possible anyway! Got Aluminium Ares Side and Top rails going on it soon. My bullpup AR collection is now complete! Just waiting to get my F2000 from the tech and I am hoping to get my first bullpup family photo!

    It's been happening for the past three months. I use Ultra-air. The power is there, 270 fps.

    No. The dial stays put regardless of how many times I shoot it. The nub stays in place in between shots at least.

    Are you saying it could be that the arm the holds the nub is not staying in place when firing? I couldn't say.

    Hello all. For the past three skirmishes, my TM M9 (Adjustable hop) No longer seems to want to create any hop. I thought the original rubber may have died, so I changed it to a Prommy Nineball. However this has done nothing to rectify the problem. I can see when I adjust the Hop wheel, the nub appears in the barrel where and when it should. However, despite the nub being present, I get no hop... Any ideas? The rubber is dry, no silicon oil in any wrong places. Ta!

    Best Tavor is either the Elite Force CTAR which isn't sold outside the US (made by S&T) Or the S&T tavor professional in the UK. The Umarex is just a rebadged S&T Explorer Tavor. Ares have released a new Tavor which has the Amoeba gearbox but its very expensive and I haven't heard anything about them myself. The Ares externals are better then the S&T but have more proprietary internal parts. Also the allergy was reported on reddit. But it was unlikely caused by the rifle alone. If it really was the rifle then they would have technically been allergic to their own body fat. I get rashes when I am very sweaty and it's a hot day rubbing against plastic.

Yeah, its the non blowback, short barreled, ABS receiver rather then the Fibre one. But it has the metal gearbox and only cost 75 quid shipped! If you want a Tavor and dont want to spend much then this is the one.

    So my search for a cheap as chips Tavor has ended. Unfortunately it had to be a Umarex branded one with the plastic fantastic receiver and metal gearbox rather then an S&T Nylon fibre pro jobbie. Thats now all of the currently released bullpup rifles I have been looking for! (Until MDR comes out!) 1X Umarex Tavor Sportline.
