    The A&K Hop unit is notoriously bad. Its like they have never seen a hop unit and have no idea how it works beyond what someone told them at a drunken dinner. It's why I replaced mine!

    Went back and exchanged this as the original broke. And picked up a Xcortech X301 Mini Tracer unit to replace my broken B&T one. Will be using it this weekend at Erebor!

    Things wot got broke today: Brand new Chrono, 2 days old and just got a blank backlit screen. Back it goes to the shop!

      @Rogerborg brand new genuine Xcortech X3200 MK3. Crazy really as I haven't seen much in the way of them being unreliable. 

       

      I just have the worst luck.

    PSA: SRC have made a new run of gen 3 XM8's. Original style, PDW and new style. They are available to shops to order from the UK distributor now.

    First purchases in a while. P226 grip screws for my TM M9, same length thread just larger heads. I lost a grip screw at the GI weekender. Combat Union SVD/SVU hop unit and nozzle set. Didn't even know they made these! Very new product, stunning quality and it's going in my cheap and nasty Cyma SVU. Couldn't find a RS SVD nozzle either so it's a bonus! ASG Blaster Tracers in the new .28 weight. Tracer bbs have been scarce in the UK since the ASG changed bottle types so it's good to get these in. Lastly and most importantly... my own Xcortech x3200 MK3 Chrono. Have been borrowing my battlebudddys for over a year and has only just now started complaining! Bless him.

    Finally a decent photo of me in full flight. Complete Eurotrash mishmash loadout. French CCE Camo, Famas belt and Harness. M9 U.S. FN F2000. After running around at 30 degrees decided to change into my Primark/SportsDirect PMC loadout.

    In addition to the coastal walking I am also a bass player and have been for almost 17 years. I like to play all sorts of genres though mostly Punk Rock and Hardcore. As technical as possible. Looking less and less likely at the age of 34 to be play originals in a genre I actually want to play though. Ageism is rife!

      @AK47frizzle Usually with lots of looking on websites that are not in English. This one I completely stumbled across by chance. Looks like it was forgotten stock that just got listed.

    My Real Sword T97 has been stuck at the GLS German international sorting office for 6 days now. Nothing coming up on the Parcel Force tracking number either. When do I start kicking up a fuss? Haven't had a delay like this before!

      @Asmodai, less defense more the Germans get a huuuuge sad on about full auto at above .5 joules. Why some minor functionary may have decided to open your package is beyond me. That's the only thing I can think of out of hand tho I may be completely wrong.

      Where did the guns you ordered from San Marino pass through @Asomodai? Germany or France?

      @Skara not sure about zmfrom Italy.  But the guns bought from gunfire were sent via GLS from Poland through Germany. Only difference this time is from the Czech Republic through Germany.

    I have been thinking of doing this for a while though I am using some angled rail adapters on the top rail. Got a link to the rails you bought? I will probably do this to my T97 as the hand guard vents are the exact right size as well.

    Opinions on the TM D.O.R Hi Cappa?

    I understand it has M45A1 Blowback unit and is not compatible with some parts etc. Not looking to upgrade beyond bucking and inner barrel anyway.

    Can get a new one for a good price. I have never had a Hi Cappa before but hear many good things. What is the trigger response like? (Love the response of my TM Strike Warrior, but the M9 has a pretty long pull). Will it fit standard Hi Cappa holsters?

      I have the D.O.R and yes many parts are not compatible with standard 5.1 parts.

       

      I got mine for £135~ from camo raids.

       

      Really like it but it's my first pistol. I want to stick a tracer on it but it's proving difficult because outer barrels aren't compatible. I ordered this expensive dodad from america to epoxy in to the end of the plastic barrel to fit tracers

      At 50% more, I couldn't justify the FNX over the DOR. I have also been offered a new TM PX4 that I am might tempted with! No idea how good they are though. 

       

      Trigger response is the most important thing for me though!

    I generally get that most days! Especially when I bring the XM8's out to play . Though they have been mistaken for Evos with body kits at times.

    One of the last brand new ones available in the world Cant wait for it to arrive! I might try and stretch for the B type another month. This bullpup fan finally has the definitive airsoft bullpup!

    You can always have a very accurate weighing scale next to the chrono. Never seen it done and is probably a bit of a faff though.

    Latest SE Tour Review is up! MPA Hockley Airsoft Arena. A bit of a surprise!

    had my first skirmish with them. 3 and a half hours of very close CQB. Humid night. Used the nuprol anti fog. 99% of the time everything was lovely and clear, 1% of the time there were some water droplets which didn't effect me much at all. The holes really helped and I didn't remove any of the foam. Got a bit of a scratch on the goggle when it got hit at ultra close range. Buffed the scratch out and its no longer there. For what they are it seems a pretty sound purchase, they are even pretty comfortable to wear! I run almost exclusively with Bolle Shooting Glasses. My typical ones are some clear and amber lensed ones. Only cost me £3 on clearance down from 10. Have taken multiple strikes at close range with no issues. They also fog up less then my £35 set. The frames in this particular model (Tracker II) are known to be fairly flimsy compared to the rest of the Bolle line and I do agree with that sentiment. However I had no problems tonight.

    Latest broken thing as a skirmish.

     

    Samsung A70 2 months old, in my pocket whilst playing at Hockley and screen broken. Didn't even get hit! Purple fluid leaking into the screen... have never broken a phone before 😕

     

    No Real sword purchase for me this month:-(

    A bit flimsy feeling to be honest. Reviews have said that the frames are rated less then the lens. We shall see. I doubt the bit where I drilled will break though. More likely elsewhere. I only know of two sites that required full seal goggles so I didn't want to spend that much on places I will likely go just once to review and not return.
