    So I had a good if limited time at the Night time battlesim recently. I am unsure if I can write a fair review. Basically, 25 people who booked in never showed up. 40 showed up with half leaving before 3AM because they were not equipped properly and the sim was called off. On the fence about whether to write it up!

    Bugger, my completely upgraded MG36 gearbox is perfect, great rate of fire on just a 9.6mah NimH, not much noise considering whats going on inside. 

     

    Unfortunately shooting at 365 FPS on a weak M95 strength ASG Spring. I think I must have done a decent job on the air seal! 

     

    Hopefully going for an M90 or M85 wont cause double feed on single shot as its pretty close to doing that already!

      I may need to go that route. I could cut down my current 400mm barrel, but I had matched it with a 4/5 Cylinder. We'll see how the spring change will do. 

       

      I would prefer something more efficient then anything and wide bores go against all of that IMO :)

    You know for an M4 type that looks the danglys! Just had some things come through. PDRC silencer adapter. And this beast arrived. 236 euros, brand new from San Marino softairgames. A&K MK43 M60 Seals. Its blooming heavy and I have a big stupid grin all over my face looking at it!

    Sorting out my loadout for the long awaited Dusk til Dawn Battlesim at Longmoor tomorrow night. Got in my second proper kit as my usual French Camo is a bit too tan for a green team. Kombat UK BTP ACu Shirt, Tac Trousers, black hat and Spartan Tac Vest. 2x Viper double stack P90 Mag pouches, Mechanix Woodland gloves and the somewhat out of place Dual CCE Pistol mag pouch. Annoyingly the Trousers came out of the wash quite washed out compared to the shirt so is a bit darker then the really dark green of the shirt. Cyma P90 upgraded internally to the hilt running on a 9.9V Life, A torch with a Permenent red marker on the lense to simulate red light, B+T Tracer Unit and unknown Holo sight. Nuprol Retention Paddle holster and TM M9 U.S I will also have the first run out for the new PTS Magpul PDR-C. Here sporting the WE CON RDS. Unfortunately the delivery I was supposed to get today had the Tracer unit adapter so this will go tracer-less in late evening and early morning.

    I "might" be using it at a Milsim this Saturday night as a backup. Assuming my 45 degree rail attachment comes. Just converted it to deans and the 1450 man battery just about goes in. Will let you know ?

    Took a chance on getting a second hand PDRC. So glad I went for it! Apart from a small bit of rust on an incidental part this thing is in amazing condition. Need to get some smaller lipos or the grip extension as the 1450 mah only barely fits and will probably wear away at the wires on the battery being flexed so much. Its lightweight and so tiny! But you can feel the quality in the plastic compared to my cheap Cyma P90 This could very easily be my go to rifle for travelling to sites with public transport. More so then the P90 because of the M4 mag size.

    Just got my Trousers and shirt through. The 38 waist is just about tight enough to consider going without a belt, though I will anyway. The stitching isn't the greatest from a tidiness perspective, but its solid. The shirt I got was a Large, good fitment in the body, but the lanky armed bugger that I am means that I need some long gloves so my wrists don't show in certain poses. Otherwise, pretty good!

    A&K MK43/M60. All the way from San Marino for almost half the price anywhere else. (236 euros). My first and likely only true LMG. Will be picking up the AirsoftPRO Hop unit next month as the stock one is farcical. P90 Gearbox Spring set to replace my trigger return spring Negative Suppressor adapter for my PDRC so I can attach a tracer unit. AirsoftPRO G36 Air Nozzle (Short) as my project MG36 wont take the long one.

    So I require a Red torch for my up coming night battlesim, to preserve my natural night vision.

     

    I don't want to spend money...

     

    I took my torch (Which I made a bunch of new lenses out of roughly cut Chinese takeaway Tupperware boxes as the original plastic one broke) and coloured it in with permanent red marker. 

     

    Seems to do the job. If I want to make it redder then I will put layers of clear Sellotape on the lense with a coating of red marker pen per layer.

    Gonna have to grab a sturdy belt then. Though 50% of the amazon reviews claim the sizing is small and to grab the next size up. cheers!

    How's the sizing of the trousers? I ordered 38 though I am usually a large 36.

    I might actually have just enough for a Type 97 though which one i am unsure. Plus an A&K M60 LMG next month. Just need to get a few more pennies. Jacket cost 22quid in large. The trousers were size 38 waist for just £13 on eBay, reduced for a limited time. Its now my second uniform as I only have one currently!     PTS Magpul PDR-C. Second hand but looks in very good condition. Slightly apprehensive about the dual stage trigger, but hey, its a rare and discontinued bullpup for a decent price. I couldn't say no. Kombat UK BTP full uniform. Hopefully the sizing is right. 45 degree rail adapter to attach a torch on my scope rail only rifles FMA helmet picatinny rail.

    A year old barely used PTS PDR-C for 228 shipped worth it? Sight unseen purchase. 

     

    Its a real looker though I am aware of its short-comings. I can still get it new for 320, which makes me pause, maybe getting a brand new one to make sure there are no wear issues with the proprietary parts...

    Picked up the 7mm ball bearings for the MG36 project and the Real Sword Type 97 picatinny rail for whenever I get a Type 97 (It was only 7 quid)

    So I got the MP5 back from the tech today.

     

    Shoots lovely and fast with its all new compression gear and barrel and the built in tracer unit for the hop is fantastic. 

     

    Unfortunately the one fault I asked to be looked at still occurs. The hop adjustment lever shakes into a neutral position within seconds of full auto. Looks like it's going back...

      chuck a wee o-ring under the screw holding the hop wheel/slider on?

       

      pretty common problem, i've even used blu tac on pistol hops to keep them in place.

      @Adolf Hamster that's what I will tell them to do. Otherwise I may suggest to TDC mod it!

      I have been on the phone to the tech, he'll take it back and look into a direct TDC mod. Takes out all the inherent issues of the MP5 hop unit.
