  1. Though I have sold a lot of stuff on Telegram groups, and got a few bargains in return (mostly from people who had no idea and no, I don't feel bad about it).

  2. Just so happened to pick one of these up as my recent procurement of an MP5 had no muzzle attachment, just bare threads. My logic was that this thing actually works out cheaper than buying an actual muzzle attachment from almost anywhere. It arrived today and it appears to work. When I drop a BB through the unit it flashes a white light (I thought tracer units use UV light?) and the BB has some very faint glow. Not sure if it's the unit that's crap or the BBs. Either way I don't really care. £7.50 for a mock surpressor is a win in my books.

Probably, but I wouldn't touch them with a 10ft barge pole for the reasons above

    Finally!!

I introduced my grandson to Airsoft. He is 21 and loves it.I also got him hooked on viper gear. Boots, trousers, vest and gloves. We look identical except he is a foot and a half taller and and 5 stone lighter! I hate him...lol.

What do you say to comfort a friend who’s struggling with grammar? There, their, they’re. "Dad are we pyromaniacs?" "Yes we arson"

  8. Thanks for the input, especially on the MOSFET side of things. I've shot an email to a local tech/store who just so happen to stock both of the MOSFETs you mentioned. I've detailed that I would like the original battery connections swapping to deans and fuse removing if possible so i'll see what they come back with. Soldering & mosfet installs are over my head. I only intended on changing the gears because the ones in the gun must be stock and are already showing signs of wear. Might as well change them given how inexpensive a new set is. @Tactical Pith Helmet I did intend to install everything sequentially for this very reason in case I buggered anything up.

  9. Looks like the same fare spat out of the same OEM factory as Specna, Evolution and Lancer Tactical.

  11. I'd put money on it. The blurb from the DCA site says: Which sounds like "we can't sell enough of our regular stuff and people seem to like the airsoft guns. Let's slap our name on some Chinese RIFs and see what happens".

  12. Mmm, Area-66 is also nearly fully transitioned from paintball to airsoft, it does seem to be the way that it's going. One day in the future we may find ourselves ousted in turn for... urgh... gel blasters.

  17. Not sure if you found anyone but the post isn't that old. I'm not the most experienced tech you'll find but I live in Harlow and I'd be willing to take a look for you. I signed up to reply to this after finding the post by searching for "Airsoft Tech Harlow" in Google Market research and all that 😆

  18. Brexit was cooked up by Tory backbenchers like Rees-Mogg to protect their investments from the upcoming EU tax evasion laws. It was never about independence or taking back control.

  19. TBH, i have found price differences on the polish sites of AEG's to be regulary at least £20 to £30 cheaper than a UK seller. In some cases £100 cheaper. Also, you know brexit was a good idea when business people who were pro-leave do this... https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/brexiteer-billionaire-jim-ratcliffe-moves-his-land-rover-production-to-eu-nj3fkckkk Clearly they were only in on it to make more money, or dont actually care about 'made in britain'

  20. I was talking about this very question a few games ago. I gave a chap my CYMA 040to hold and he thought that it was the LCT. I don't think that he would have mistaken the rif with both side by side, but the CYMA is solid. Where are you? If you are ten minutes up the road from someone on here I'm sure that they will let you have a fondle.
