Spot the guy who just got his UKARA 😁 - Finally got something to attach all the accessories I've been accumulating to! - G&G TR16 308 SBR & TM FNX45. The 308's feeling very nice indeed, there's not much room in that stock for a battery as the stock mosfet, fuse and wiring take up a ton of space, I'm glad I picked up a Perun ETU++ as I'd have been scratching my head getting the battery in there otherwise - of course that's not why I got the Perun but I'm glad I did. Was an easy job to do, just need to put on a couple of cable ties to tidy things up in the stock tube. I mainly play CQB hence the tracer and light, looks great with the inner barrel ending just inside the outer. Just need to find a foregrip and then I'll work out where the pressure switch will go. Dust cover shuts but opens at every possible opportunity, the catch doesn't look likes it's up to much so I guess it'll just stay open. Had a play with it earlier, needless to say I was like 'why's it stopped??' when the mag ran out 🙄 gotta get used to that with mid-caps. Not got any gas into the FNX mags yet (base plate is super deep - gas bottle nozzle extension on the way) but it feels good in the hand. The not particularly standard barrel size means I need to run an adapter for the tracer. Holding fire on if I want a red dot for it or not, partly because the holster's not arrived yet and I've no idea if it'll fit with it on.

Just been to collect my new toy from parcelfarce... FCW Striker 12 and 12xPPS shells. Quick fiddling around with it all has revealed 3 duff shells... 2 with loose fitting base plates allowing the shell to fall forward and jam the drum, and one needing the BB retaining cap and new o ring glueing onto the body... Also eyeing up a replacement barrel (without inner barrel) so I can use APS shells Ps. Excuse the DVD player remote in second pic.. needed something to stop the gun rolling over on its drum so I could take a half decent pic

I raise you one Ashley Hlebinsky "If I can tell that someone is going to get really mad that I used the word 'silencer', I always use it." Saucy minx. It is a weird one, it seems that the outer barrel and and silencer thread just isn't supported well enough. To be fair, the real-plastic G36 has been withdrawn because their barrels also start wandering all over the place as soon as the plastic heats up.

Ha! To be honest, I don't mind if you call them silencers or suppressors. I'm not *that* much of a pedant. I seem to have fixed my particular issue. I applied gentle corrective pressure in an upward direction, just to see if anything happened. there was a *pop* and the barrel was aligned with the same horizontal as the top rail. I think the outer barrel just wasn't quite aligned with the guides it slides on to. My plan is to fit a longer barrel and then cover it up with a mock supprilancer. I am hoping that a brass barrel going all the way down the middle of the outer barrel and the silessor will give it enough rigidity to keep things in place. Hence Forth, I shall refer to the barrel attachment in question as tubeymakebanggopop. I'm airing on the side of leaving it front wired because I prefer the look of the lower profile M4 stock.

Sad news for a paintball site, but an opportunity for airsoft…. The following has been posted on Facebook by the owner of ‘OnTarget games’ regarding their Callington site in the PL7 postcode area Further details are below in italics quoted from Martello, but the jist of the situation is that the paintball market in the area has dropped, it’s not sustainable as paintball only. They have two opportunities proposed as either a partnership or to fully transfer the site over. Part of the video below gives an overview of the Callington site, but the rest of the video and play list are about building one of their other venues A sad day... We have had to make the horrible choice to close our Callington venue to paintball. The pandemic was a struggle, after lockdown we were as busy as ever, but the cost of living seems to have driven the kids birthday groups away. The catchment area can't provide enough paintball bookings to keep it going on its own. We have briefly spoken to the landowners who could be open to expanding the area available to make it better for airsoft if anyone was interested in taking it on. But unfortunately I don't have the time or investment to make this happen on our own at the moment. It has permissions for wargaming activities from the council etc, seems such a shame after all the hard work. But that's life... Our Newquay venue is still going thanks to stag parties 😎. I'm open to offers to take it on as a partnership with someone else as an airsoft venue or they can make an offer for the site as it stands. But we can't continue as it is on our own. Looks like they’ve really thought it through - 88g is definitely available in the UK so that shouldn’t be an issue.

Actually VFC internals these days are excellent, and I speak from buying their G3 and FAL recently and being a completely GHK fan boy. I am quite excited by this.

A shame, but not surprising - paintball as a sport and industry has been in a sustained and steady decline for well over a decade now. Way too expensive for kids parties, Stag-dos are not exactly repeat customers nor sustainable income in the current climate, not enough interest to continue walk-on days at many sites (thus removing the tournament player pipeline). Most of the UK Tournament Series are long gone (NSPL, Dartford 7's, M25 Series etc). The major forums are pretty much dead (P8ntballer & PBNation). Even NXL World Cup seemed a bit - mediocre - compared to years past (I know the hurricane didn't help. Nice to see SD Dynasty on amazing form with Ollie Lang). I hope OnTarget can successfully partner with someone or offload the site for Airsoft use.

Totally using @ak2m4 when I need bits for the pews 👍 Bit late to request you stock the gas bottle extension tubes though.

@Rogerborg Thanks, and yes making a loss. However my postage fees are due to rise in the new year when I switch to more of a fully tracked system. I might still keep the cheaper large letter sub £20 sub 100g rates, not made up my mind yet.
