Good lard, i'm getting bored of people telling this lad he's too young... Clearly his parents give him plenty of latitude and that is their prerogative. Oh if only mine had felt similarly... I would have been able to stay on good terms with them, instead of taking the latitude I required, falling out with them, and in my youthful folly throwing the baby out with the bathwater, rejecting anything they had to say. The laws in France regarding fire crackers are much more lax. I remember a dual French-British citizen mate of mine during my young teens used to bring back handfuls of them and tiny rockets also - they only contain about 1g of powder or something equally poxy, but they are a laugh. Obviously, since he is a minor, his parents actually own the the fire crackers, in a legal sense, just as they own his clothes, etc. Whether he will be able to use them at an airsoft site is another story. Prima facie it would appear not, however adult supervision may be sufficient. Teo, you may find that adults whom you know will give you the benefit of the doubt if you are obviously sensible and able to be trusted not to wig out and stuff lit bangers in someone's molle (just as a tempting eg), but if that turns out to be the case, you would do well to take note of how people have reacted to hearing about you just having them and let what happens in Lisburn stay in Lisburn...3 points

Pyro's
Esoterick reacted to Mr Monkey Nuts for a topic
Some sites have council imposed noise limits which restrict the types of pyro you may use. And some sites won't allow specific types such as smoke indoors for obvious reasons. Some just want to make a bit more money.1 point -
Do you need ukara/ a defence? NOPE, you must be +18 to buy, and most sites will require you to be +18 to use them. Can you buy them sites? Yeah, some sites do good deals on them, many don't. Can you buy elsewhere? Yeah, its possible, you often get better deals this way. But beware, postage will be quite high they are explosives so there are restrictions on who will carry them, also some sites have silly rules like you must only use their pyro or a specific brand of pyro on their site, for the most part I cant find a real reason for this other than a money making scheme on their part. You get what you pay for, so better quality is good, I generally buy about 10 flashbangs and 5 smokes at a time, but I've had varying results from different companies. One set called Xplode had a 50% failure rate. TLSFX and Enola gaye have better reputations, in my eyes there is a reason for this, less than a 5% failure rate on these. I class inconsistent burn times as failures ie just the same as one that fails to detonate.1 point

Need advice on what gas replica to buy.
Airsoft_Mr B reacted to Monty for a topic
I (and many others hopefully) recommend you avoid that website and avoid cheap gas blow back guns (for your first gun anyway.) Get yourself a decent AEG from a reputable retailer. What's your budget? G&G Combat machine's are fantastic for the price.1 point -
Anyone know the name of scope and whether its available in airsoft replica?

You dont need to, I got mine from here http://www.new-greenbase.com/list.asp?id=5079 £75 by the time postage is factored in.1 point -
Really? I thought the whole point of the MP5SD was that it has an integral suppressor that isn't actually designed to come off? A full length M4A1 is plenty short enough to do CQB with anyway. 800mm isn't a big deal.1 point

This. Come on you lot, if the site won't let him do this I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have bothered buying the fire crackers in the first place. Give the lad a break, eh?1 point

Would you consider doing a review of the holster? I'd be interested to know how good it is, being an ACM clone. (Or not necessarily a review but if you could tell me what it's like that would be much appreciated)1 point -

Make sure to add yourself to http://www.airsoftmap.net/ so that its on the map, a lot of players go there to find out what is around them and its a great resource and you should do that as soon as you have some idea of opening dates. That is how I found all the sites around me and I suspect a lot of other people use it as well. If you post your opening event on there you'll be one of the few places that has events on that map so it'll help generate some interest. 40-50 sounds like a really big CQB area with lots of games a week would be amazing! You might want to make your nights different to Epsom bunker which runs on a Wednesday. Make sure you don't overfill the area, too many players is as much a problem as too few. As long as you don't make opening day the 10th of May you have another player for opening day.1 point -

A four foot foam sword for "safety kills" or suicide charges. Considering I just top 5 foot 5, carrying this thing is going to be fun. Still £2 off eBay isn't to be sniffed at. Zombie nights are going to get a lot more fun now1 point -

Here's the short barrelled version. It says coming soon but if you stick your email in the box they notify you when it's in stock, http://www.taiwangun.com/en/shotgun-m56a-ee?from=listing&campaign-id=19 I've got the short barrelled stockless version and it works great but I do wish I'd got one with a stock. There's a tutorial on youtube on how to change the extendible stock version by fitting an M4 buffer tube and stock which apparently helps with the wobble although I don't know anybody personally who's tried it to find out for definite.1 point -

http://www.taiwangun.com/en/combat-3-bullets-per-shot-shotgun-k1207l-koer?from=listing&campaign-id=19 That there my friend is an DE m56 DL (with a full stock!!). It has a weird name because the website is polish but it is actually the DE. The shotgun in the UK is around £60 and its extremely rare to find in black. However on this website Its £33 and £10 shipping. OR You could buy that and buy attachments (rails for the pump, a flashlight mount for the barrel, a red dot sight, etc etc) and spare shells and bump the price to £60. Then the shipping is free! That way youve paid the price you would have in the UK and you have a bunch of attachments and shells!1 point -
