Aussie Gear! Service dress jacket and slouch hat, just waiting for the paypal invoice. Discovered that Spearhead has a Brown jacket identical to the Green one I had been looking at under the WW1 section (rather than the ww2 section where the green one was). It's £5 more but comes with the insignia that is missing from the Green one. Bit of research and I find that both colours are correct. Brown has the additional benefit of matching my British Battledress trousers so I don't need trousers and saving issues with my wool allergy, the cost of insignia and the price of the matching trousers (£40) :)

...PDI barrel

Actually I've been skanked because the barrel was £88-odd and the shipping was free (not that they should charge VAT on the shipping but sometimes they do).

While in Hong Kong I treated myself to an early birthday present of a GHK G5 and some extra mags :)

Being escorted by 4 armed police men to have it security checked was kind of cool, and if I did not know better, two of them may well have been airsoft players themselves as they had a brief discussion on the G5 while checking it was not a real gun.

I thought shipping was subject to tax at the same rate as the product?

That's not what it says on the Customs & Wankers Excise webby, iirc. But either way there was no shipping charge - it was 14385 Yen which PayPal already ripped me off on by charging me £88 to pay (as opposed to £83-odd) so, although I realise it's pointless arguing, I am going to chase it up once I have the barrel on Tues (so it cannot get delayed) - fuck it, I'm borderline disabled: I've got nothing better to do while I wait for meds to allow me to actually do something constructive than whinge over a few quid / i'm sure those few quids add up to a fair sized xmas party if they're doing it to a lot of people.

I'm pretty sure it is subjectable to VAT, as it's a service?

Hmmm... you may be right, Liam. Nonetheless, there was no shipping cost to charge VAT on, so they definitely ripped me off.

Just some gear for me:

Blackhawk Stealth Weapons catch - so I have a reliable place to store my shotgun on my CQB rig.

Smith Optics Elite Boogie Regulator goggles in "Ignitor" (red tinted) colour.

All brought from tactical-kit :)

Let me know how you get on with the regulators mate. Been thinking of a set myself.
