Supporters Ian_Gere Posted November 27, 2014 Supporters Share Posted November 27, 2014 (edited) Bars (Snow Leopard) Costume Twilight-2 Frog 58/5 - $83.00 posted ~ profarmy.ru I was after 56-5 but they went out of stock while i was dithering whether to get this or a Jagel pattern Komandor uniform and also trying to figure out how to get it shipped - their webby is all in Russian and not self explanatory - turns out you just need to email 'em. But although the Komador uniform looks seriously cool, in both senses of the word, and the pattern is probably better for UK woodlands, this is more quintessentially Russian. Ooh yeah, and while i was asleep goofbid netted me this: Sabre respirator - £13.70 posted ~ fleabay ( get in there my son!) Happy
Ian: £13.70? You really find some great stuff on the cheap haha. May have to try and frequent eBay more often! Anyway, latest purchases to remidy some faults in my current recon loadout: Tokyo Marui 30 round VSR magazine Guarder rifle stock pad (Olive) APS QD sling swivel £41.80 inc. postage from Zero One The mag because I'm tired of carrying around a speed loader that rattles, the stock pad to store it (and others) in, and the QD swivel to attach to my TRMR so I don't have to fumble with pouches to get it out in game. May have to invest in some disposable pyro for throwing since the TRMR is a bit too heavy to do that haha Ian_Gere

Supporters Ian_Gere Posted November 27, 2014 Supporters Share Posted November 27, 2014 (edited) How do you measure Russian clothes sizes Ian? Here's a chart, but that 1 doesn't show the single digit height size - i can't remember where the other chart i used to use is now, but it goes sort of like this 6= above 186cm 5= around 180cm 4= 176cm 3= 170-2cm 2= proper short and i've never seen any 1's. Edit: but there are also things sized 1, 2, 3, 4 like KZS jacket & pants, KLMK onesies, belts, webbing - 1 is the smallest, 2 is average/medium, 3 is average/large, 4 is big and tall-ish (Russian gear tends to be made for slightly shorter people in general than UK sizes and arms/legs can be a bit short if you're what we would call a Medium and you get a 2, or if you're say 178cm and 32" waist 38" chest (50-4) - but it depends on the style of the garment because sniper camo has extra long arms anyway... Supporters Ian_Gere Posted November 28, 2014 Supporters Share Posted November 28, 2014 TBH I think i'll still use MK5's for launching over cover, but there are times when just rolling a BFG around a corner would allow me to progress, so for that money, it seemed daft not to give 'em a go. I have some Thunder B's too, which i love for their massive bang, but i need to modify them to make them go off faster for them any use for getting hits. As it is, they're just good for denying access through a space.
