AK47frizzle
I am trying to find a chest rig I saw years ago where it was a rig slung from the shoulders and held by the belt which was split down the middle and had mag pouches on each side. Other than that, currently looking for a rig that is just simply a mag holder at the sides or back, nothing to bulge up the front. Would appreciate some findings. Supporters Adolf Hamster Posted March 28, 2018 Supporters Share Posted March 28, 2018 you could go for a molle belt and rig it up yourself? that's how i have mine setup as i've enough frontal overhang without adding mag pouches on top. something like a h-harness and a battle belt seems ideal for this. I use a battle belt and molle harness, I have a triple m4 pouch, double pistol, dump pouch , utility pouch and my DTD Mk23 holster. It’s all I need. Admittedly, I use hi caps when defending for ease of use. But even then I have never played a day where I have used the 4 mags I take out with me. Guest MaccyD
Try searching for webbing rather than chest rig/vest https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=mtp+webbing&_sacat=

But even then I have never played a day where I have used the 4 mags I take out with me. i have 6 of those quick draw mag holders, 3 on the right and 3 on the left, the right hand ones are a bit of a pain to get at (switching hands) so i tend to adjust my reloads based on urgency and leave the left hand ones for when i need to get shooting again quickly. mine's a bit more crowded in terms of pouches, speedloaders/bipod/general tools etc but it's set up nice so the weight isn't that much of an issue. Supporters Prisce Posted March 28, 2018 Supporters Share Posted March 28, 2018 I have seen one of those in action @L3wisD, guy over at Airsoft plantation last time I was there was rocking it. Believe it or not, hardly anyone noticed, and I only did because I was stuck in the same bottleneck.

steakandpotato
Your best bet would be something like this. It's not a chest rig, it's a PLCE Belt + Yoke combination. You can make them yourself but they're pretty cheap unless you start looking at MTP PIR setups.
Moderators Tackle Posted March 28, 2018 Moderators Share Posted March 28, 2018 Bulle mle rig ? cheap as chips but great quality, only downside is the Molle doesn't go all round the back, but more load carrying is easily remedied by adding a small Molle pack to the rear yoke/H harness. & very comfortable
Iceni
There is a model I think might work for you. Dutch army DPM tactical vest.https://armyworld.iai-shop.com/product-eng-3726-Tactical-Vest-Dutch-Army-DPM-Woodland-Original-Demobil.html 25Zl is about £5. You'll pay more in shipping than the product costs! Last order I had with army world took 12 days, untracked. But it arrived in very good condition. Skara
Tactical tailor mini mav, you just can't beat that.. It's also quite inexpensive coming at sub €50 8x4 molle to attach only what you need.. I have mine set up with a double m4 pouch and a utility, everything else is superfluous
Supporters TheFull9 Posted April 2, 2018 Supporters Share Posted April 2, 2018 Tackle put forward the best answer so far: https://www.flecktarn.co.uk/sdtmb2nx.html £30 and the quality is almost on a par with Warrior and most of the big boy expensive gear brands. Makes 8fields/viper/mil-tec etc redundant.
Guest pierce09
the rig you mention sounds like something similar to an LBT 1961 or Eagle MPCR. you can find repros of both of these. I know Flyye does a repro 1961 and so does Semapo and they are available in several patterns as well.
