i am sure it is but google search shows 3rd or 4th from the top Β£129.99 for the gun. 20 each the mags and nuprol holsters range from 15 to 25 depending where you go.

Don’t get your point

if it’s 190 you are saving Β£20 over retail buying second hand for a WE that is Β£110 at my local store (and on google). Even with the extras I don’t understand why you are justifying the price.

Just saying why the op could think it's reasonable. And that pistol prices vary wildly in the UK.

Β£230 RIF. Two tone. Self described as badly painted black.  Add some random Nuprol and 8Fields vendor trash.  No warranty or even a claim that it actually functions.

Worth Β£400 all day long, mate.

(Plus shipping and fees, I have no doubt)

I tried to buy this and politely asked what his best price was, highlighting that the new retail was around the same…. The response was a rant that he didn’t buy these to lose money on ….and why should he reduce the price when it’s still brand new….

It's exactly the same, and the postage is Β£6.50 versus his Β£8.

Well, he knows what it's worth, all day long, mate.  No chancer's going to mug him off, he wasn't born yesterday.

It does bother me a little that folk with that level of mentation are on site with us.  Although I rather suspect that doesn't apply here.

That's another reason why I almost exclusively buy second hand. The two rifs I have sold on from second hand I lost almost no money on.

For your consideration, a broken 3d printed item of unclear quality, well it is broken all yours for Β£75....

I don't see a problem with the L1A1 sale.

If he wants to see what people offer its up to him.

I would put in an offer but I've already got one 😁

Expand

It’s the β€˜sensible offers’ that gets me.

the poster wants the most money he can get/ fair enough, who doesn’t.

if however you stipulated that you have a sensible offer in mind then that’s the price you are willing to accept so factor in some haggling value and just sell it. (Or maybe it’s to appeal to the scratch card lottery buyers and cash in on their gambling addiction buy introducing a semi competitive element.)

'Sensible' offers could just be anything above Β£100

Sure, its a strange way to go about a sale but nothing dodgy in my view.

Except it doesn't meet the forum rules for selling, something we're all expected to abide by.

Thing is, these are sought after, of that there's no doubt, but expecting people to potentially get in to a bidding war over it, that's not how it's done here, nor is it that ethical when it's all done behind closed doors so to speak.

Edit: since my posting I see the seller has posted a price πŸ‘

Reserves are very common in auctions.

Yep, fair enough.

I was just saying that it didn't seem dodgy.
