  1. Could get a Gen 1 Flyye Fast Action PC for £70 + WAS pouches A WAS DCS will be around £100 for the base PC itself but again cheap pouches though
  2. Only Halo Mill AFAIK and maybe the Skirmish place in Sheffield, can't remember the area / full name of it

They've been selling that pattern for a while now. I used to really want a set but saw it in the flesh and don't like it anymore lol.

considerable price considering it used to be about £75 per item! shame ive just bought a load of flecktarn

    3. Mack
  3. It's an airsoft forum, take a wild guess.
  4. Hmm dunno what to think about the new FO4 info...doesn't seem Fallout-y enough. Reminds me more of rage? Hope it doesn't detract too far from the lore, anyone else know what I mean?

the largely unconfirmed multiplayer element is the only thing that concerns me in terms of atmosphere. Will quickly seem less apocalyptic if theres thousands of people running around meta-gaming the shite out of same maps.

I think the only way multiplayer would be suitable is if it had a system like SWTOR did for dialogue where you basically roll against each other as to who's choice wins. That said it's kinda unecessary and would work better as a sideline doing missions for various factions IMO

I've always wanted it to be multiplayer before, but after playing Elder Scrolls online I hope its not. a Co-op drop in and out feature would possibly be good though.

  5. Am I right in thinking WBB aren't even sold over here? And they're pretty expensive anyway. Get a 6.03. The closest correct length barrel should be sold as a 300mm or 267mm (usually 267mm is for used for 10.5" outer barrel M4s but in reality they're longer, closer to 300)
  6. What do you call those storage / divider pack things? Like the Snugpak Pakbox? Looking for some maybe that are better or cheaper

I think they are called packing cubes.

That's what I was looking for, cheers man :)

  7. Can't remember where I first found out about airsoft, although I think like most people the interest started with 'bb guns' cheap plinkers. Had a spring 1911 type thing, a GSG M9 which was actually quality, and a DE M56 at first. Then found a GroupOn deal so we could hire for £20 / £25 rather than like £45 so had to give it a go, that was at the old F&O Hey Wood site near Huddersfield. Shame they don't do it there anymore afaik, was close and seemed like a very good site too.
  8. Swiss Arms / UTG / Nikko Stirling etc would work but the majority of airsoft replicas don't work with guns that have a recoil feature.
  9. As with any airsoft gun you hear the difference between when there is / is not anything being fired.
  10. The S-Thunder launcher doesn't look like a gun so you don't need a defence.
  11. What about a stubby 4" RIS M4 like this? http://www.taiwangun.com/en/pj4-cqb-navy-p-j?from=listing&campaign-id=14 Similarly there's also the G&G Firehawk but I wouldn't get the newer model which is a full auto only one. They're under £200, under weight requirement, are AR platform so will accept M4 magazines and A&K / G&G are TM style so plenty of manufacturers making replacement internal and external parts. I know G&Gs will work with PTS PMAGs, not sure if you mean EMAGs / EPMs? Can't think if PTS has made any non-Magpul magazines yet or not. Don't know about the A&K (P&J) Can of course have a sling plate on the buffer tube (e.g. a Magpul clone ASAP is £4 off Ali Express)
  12. 7.4V = No upgrades really needed 11.1V = Lots of upgrades needed
  13. Not justifiable at all. What is the point? There are loads of eBay based airsoft retailers as well this is gonna harm. Start a petition or summut get em to remove it
  14. Don't be a dick for fucks sake. You could've just waited a bit and got it legitimately. It is not hard nor does it take a long time to be able to acquire a valid defence. You can't just 'borrow' a UKARA number anyway which nobody is willing to do because you're clearly being a nob about it.
  15. Look at CYMA AKs from TaiwanGun and factor in a tenner for shipping from Poland You're looking at two pretty different guns there. Unless you specifically want the support variant go for a normal AK rifle platform
  16. Looks good Ed, I'd thought of the same idea using an APS GLR-16 stock (has a Picatinny rail on the side) Gonna try the same thing with my AUG but that won't be til about November
  17. Very true you are completely right there Duck. I do hate it when everyone leaves just negative comments about the guns and need to stop doing that myself. Isn't going to give a good impression especially as airsoft is supposed to be so inclusive and welcoming, and criticising his choices won't do owt but make em think we're all elitist dickheads
  18. So you mean a plate carrier right or more of a tactical vest / chest rig? I would've said something like the RICAS / CIRAS or Flyye OTV. The latter is around £60 from Military1st (I think)
  19. Oh...I see all your guns are from JBBG tbh with what you've spent on all those shit ones you could have saved and got something at least decently skirmishable But anyway I didn't even know there were 7.4V NiMh batteries? I'm assuming they're not gonna include a LiPo in with it. If you upgrade the battery to a 7.4V LiPo the gun probably won't be able to handle it because I think the gearbox will be all plastic. So you will be running at potentially too high ROF / voltage for stock internals. Might strip the gears / piston? But idk much about internals in that respect. Changing to a LiPo would need another charger as well so around ~ £15+ And speaking of which you won't be able to upgrade it because LPEGs are not made to be compatible with normal airsoft bits. Try to find another 7.4V NiMh if anything...batteries that come included with guns are always bad quality anyway no matter what the brand In terms of tightening the buffer tube should just be screwing the castle nut tight again? Or take it off put it back on to make sure it's in right sort of thing. I guess you do mean the buffer tube and not the stock itself which is wobbly?
  20. Once I start airsofting more I think it will be my local site, that or Alpha One near Wakefield. I was gonna buy some comms but pretty unnecessary spend unless you are in a team, otherwise I don't think anyone else will use em and it won't be worth it. Especially if you don't have radios already and gotta go buy them too you're looking at like £70 for walkie-talkies + headset + PTT unit (at least ~$40 from somewhere like AirsoftPeak or other China / HK retailers)
  21. What Spoon and Estorick said. Heroshark makes the best quality mesh stuff and to fit to your face as well. He used to have a website but I think it's just through FB now. As far as I know he's still doin it. I've had problems with lower face mesh masks though, not being able to use them properly with ballistic goggles or glasses. Did see Heroshark make some minimalist lower face pro which looks like you could use more easily with em. I have surplus ESS glasses and tried a shemagh to protect my teeth but firstly it liked to fall off (as in slip down) my face and also steam the glasses up like fuck. Could try a scrim net scarf instead.
