I doubt added weight will effect the recoil, just unbalance the gun a little. Keymod rail systems like the Noveske NSR are supposed to be pretty lightweight. People also used a CASV handguard but AFAIK there's no airsoft version for you have to buy a genuine VLTOR one. Also you could have a problem fitting the battery in such a small space so you might want smaller batteries and a PEQ battery box. I don't think the ERG is any different to a normal AEG externally so there shouldn't be any extra parts you need or anything.

Yes pretty sure you could do different sites but then it is far easier if you're going to the same one, because they usually want you to be a member plus they'll remember you and no needing to prove you've been airsofting before at different places.

Yep, IIRC Bollé goggles are usually safety rated whereas their glasses aren't always. I'd recommend a pair that give you full seal protection though instead. The Bolle Cobra goggles for example. I think they're only about a tenner on Amazon too.

The WELL R4 is only like £40, trademarked £110! Definitely save up for TM. Not sure about their AEG version but the GBB is about £320 IIRC.

As above, a TM VSR-10 or JG BAR-10 would be a good start. The Well L96s are brilliant as you only need to upgrade a few things and the performance will be really good. I've seen a lot of praise for the A&K Dragunov (once you've upgraded just the barrel and hop unit it performs brilliantly from what I've heard) Finally the A&K M24 (I have one) comes with a lot of good internals OOTB. I still need to do a review / overview of it since a couple people asked and I'm the only one who has one on here AFAIK. Needs upgrading still and there are a few proprietary parts that aren't compatible with VSR bits. Also I can't get the cylinder heard off mine to upgrade or clean it but I think I just need to buy some different, proper needlenose pliers.

Gas is generally cheaper than CO2. Unless it says it can take both gas and CO2 I would say no (you can't stick gas in it rather than CO2)

In my experience, you really want a good gaming PC you should be prepared to built it tbh. I spent ~ £900 on mine, including OS / monitor etc (which will have been about £250 IIRC) Some of the specs - i5 3570K, HIS Ice 7850 GPU and Gigabyte motherboard (can't remember the model though)

ICS make the best L85 AFAIK. I'm pretty sure most people with one have the ICS. If you're set on an A1 variant that's your only choice then I guess.

I had the version with the adjustable stock and you had to stick a really long allen key down the buffer tube. Then you could could loosen it. I'd imagine it'll be the same for this one. Not sure about the compatibility with other stocks but say you have the pistol grip off the pistol grip / breacher version, that would fit alright. Also, if you're cutting the barrel down, I think you'll want to re-crown and thoroughly clean out the barrels too.

It's a guess, but I think the TBB is only going to increase your FPS a bit. Maybe 5-10 FPS. You're getting ~ 30 from the M100 spring. Agreed with Flex though, barrel is better because you get the accuracy.

Sorry to post in the necro thread. I am finally getting around to doing this cos I've put it off way too long. Just tried that way and it won't work since I need admin permission (and that's the account I'm trying to fix) Holding F8 doesn't seem to do anything...hasn't worked once out of three or four times I've tried, but I don't see why it wouldn't work / what I could be doing wrong. (tried starting to hold the key down at different times / for different lengths of time and so on)

It doesn't look that good really, it certainly won't live up to all the hype, but it could still be an alright game nonetheless. I just bought the Destiny bundle because it was the same price to buy a new PS4 without any games. Then I got it from Asda, so another £20 off. Win! My best mate and I will be buying Battlefield 4 / Minecraft / maybe Watch_Dogs.

The CYMA CM.030 Glock 18 is good yeah. Unfortunately upgrades are hard to get hold of and expensive I think. I had a thread asking about them a while back. Airsoft World did sell a custom LiPo battery which improved trigger response and rate of fire a lot. Only cost a fiver more than the standard NiMh ones IIRC. Sold out though

No need to spend £100 on a scope. I'd recommend the Nikko Sterling 3-9x40 AO IR scope (AO meaning adjustable objective, you can focus much better rather than just a set distance so it's very useful. IR - Illuminated Reticle) Under £50 from Uttings.co.uk, but you'll need to buy 20mm scope rings for it too. Just look at their Mountmaster range anyway, lots of nice choices there.
