  1. That's the one. Zero One is also a good place to look. http://www.zerooneairsoft.com/index.php?cPath=268_318_403_494 For some reason it says 'Due Soon' on every one. All of them sold or something?
  2. If you're looking for an M4... G&G Combat Machine range. Without a doubt. Literally everyone recommends the M4s, they're the best you will get for the money. Excellent for a beginner and they can be upgraded a lot externally as well as internally should you wish in the future. Wish I had got one!!
  3. I think it's pneumatic blowback on all G&G guns. Therefore if it breaks nothing else is affected. Blowback isn't going to make the gun any more realistic though. It is simply a plate inside the ejection port which moves back and forth (to simulate the bolt) There's no recoil engine weight in the buffer tube like there is in an RM4 or TM Recoil Shock. It should sound a little better than your standard AEG, but I don't think you'll see or feel it moving.
  4. VAT - 20% Import Duty is 5% Courier charge would probably be around £5 up to £10. IIRC you need to pay VAT + import duty if it costs over £50 or so. That's why if it's something relatively cheap you don't get charged any extra. Example I remember is when I was looking at how much a KWA RM4 ERG would be. They're £330 from Land Warrior Airsoft but only $380-ish (£225) from eHobby Asia. But... once you add on shipping (£40) tax (£50) duty (£12.50) other charge (£10) Isn't worth it. That's not to say getting a P* from the US won't be though. Depends on what it is, because someone on here (sorry I always forget who) bought a GHK G5 and 6 mags for the price of a G5 plus ONE mag in the UK (from eHobby Asia)
  5. I'm also going to be buying the exact same rig as well as a WAS DCS plate carrier and was looking for a battle belt to go with them both. I can't find Condor battle belts anywhere (in any colour), but I found a Bulldog one which includes a yoke too for ~ £35 or so (ukmcpro) If you want taco pouches then there are Warrior ones, wouldn't recommend ACM clone tacos because they don't hold the magazines very securely. Tactical Tailor stuff can be bought on eHobby Asia as well, so it's a bit cheaper but a lot longer wait. The shades of CB / OD etc vary depending on manufacturers so it's best to buy all the same brand.
  6. Welcome to the forum mate!
  7. My first gun was a Classic Army MP5K PDW. Bought it probably about 3 years ago. Lost the screws for the stock so it's basically just a normal MP5K now (but without a sling swivel) Was contemplating keeping it and upgrading it but not sure as I would really like a G&G MP5A4. Second gun was a Cybergun BW-15 M4 CQB-R (made by CYMA) I honestly hate it and it was a stupid decision! >:-( wish I'd have got a G&G instead. Wish I had not bought another gun at all and just saved my money. I thought it would be a good idea to get an M4 because you can upgrade them a lot but it turns out the thing feels and looks pretty horrible, the RIS is cheap and wobbly, and there are hardly any metal parts on the rifle at all. Oh and it uses old Tokyo Marui designs so the delta ring and barrel design and stuff is completely different to newer models or something - so you can't put real steel parts or Magpul PTS, or even just other manufacturers handguards on it. The barrel is not threaded so you can't put a different flash hider or suppressor on. I bought a Magpul PTS stock and it wobbles loads. If you mean my very very first airsoft gun it was supposed to be a spring Colt 1911 sort of thing (except it looked like a dodgy Hi-Capa) replaced that with a clear spring GSG 92.
  8. How to disassemble A&K M24? Can't find any guides...is there a spring guide stopper to remove?

Look at the bright side, those cylinders are known to have amazing air seals :P

  9. Everyone will recommend the G&G Combat Machine M4s / G&G MP5A4. You could buy a transparent G&G CM16 (VCRA-compliant, so no defence needed) from Pro Airsoft Supplies (excellent retailer) for £100, or if you have a defence then Zero One Airsoft sell them too. ICS Sportline guns are similar to them and around the same price I believe. You will however need to buy a battery and charger too (there should already be a lot of threads on this so you don't need to start a new topic, but Component Shop are a great site to take a look at) If you can though since you are new to airsoft I would say try to go to a local shop if you can and get a feel for different guns. There might be a particular firearm you like the look of but you might not actually like the feel of it if you haven't handled one before. Hope this helps, and welcome to the forum.

  12. I've always heard it isn't a good idea to blank fire. I'd try to keep it to the minimum. I'd also recommend a smart charger such as the IMAX B6 so you don't overcharge batteries. I just let my batteries run down so they're almost dead and then charge them for pretty much their full time.
  13. I know Patrol Base sell some...
  14. Well airsoft is an expensive hobby, but I don't think that's a lot for a chest rig. Especially when you're getting the pouches included. A triple magazine shingle would cost you around a tenner, so would each utility pouch. Anything cheaper than £40 with pouches will most likely be just a Chinese rig which probably won't last you nearly as long. It's a shame they increased the price but I'd say it's still worth it. If you wanted a quality plate carrier it would cost you at least £60-£100+ for one in the UK. (e.g Flyye FAPC, Warrior Assault Systems DCS)
  15. Never seen or heard of it before this video. I call bullshit.
  16. IIRC a 7.4v LiPo will have a similar power output to an 8.4v NiMh. The advantages of LiPo are that they're much more compact and will give you a better fire rate and trigger response. It isn't very noticeable if you're using a 7.4v but it is using an 11.1 (which are not okay unless the gun is upgraded quite a lot) It's still an upgrade from a NiMh battery and it means you can fit them in buffer tubes whereas NiMh batteries are too large.
  17. Awesome write up. Entertaining as well Might have to pick one of these up myself now. Hang on only £33? They're on Military 1st for £60!
  18. You will need to buy a buffer tube LiPo to fit in the buffer tube. I know there's a 1450mAh on made by WE and they are sold on Land Warrior Airsoft. Presuming the G&P is already rear-wired, you will just need the buffer tube and shouldn't have to do any other alternations as far as I know apart from converting the battery to Deans connectors. IIRC G&P guns all use Deans as opposed to mini Tamiya plugs which the WE battery will come with. Alternatively you may be able to find a battery small enough for the buffer tube from Component Shop. You can get any battery with a choice of different connections so you won't have to do it yourself.
  19. Wouldn't recommend ARES guns. Their internals aren't very good + personally I hate the design of those Amoeba guns. The G&G Combat Machines are excellent, especially for beginners.
  20. I'd recommend the UMP or any G&G Combat Machines. There's also the G&G PM5 Sportline (I think that's what it's called) which is an MP5A4 (£124 and should be £10 for two-toning it) I would concentrate on also buying good eye protection / good footwear first, and then extra magazines for your primary before going for a pistol, but if you're playing at a CQC site most of the time it could be more useful.
  21. You need to downgrade the spring. Should cost you ~ £10 for one. An M100 spring (100 m/s) should mean it will shoot around 320-330 FPS with 0.20g BBs.
  22. Welcome to the forums
  23. Haha for fucks sake, that's pathetic. I don't understand why anyone would give their guns in anyway. Not like the police would ever know you had them.
