  1. I got myself a nice, bargain ICS m203 for my M4 which to be surprise came with two grenades. One leaked gas awful so I couldn't use it but the other was fine. Thankfully a mate of mine who is very mechanically minded fixed it. Tbh the grenades were a bonus as I got the launcher mostly for aesthetic reasons but after a few goes with setting off the grenades I couldn't wait to skirmish them. BUT am I doing it right? Holding the gun (loaded with grenade) anything less than 45 degrees (at a push) results in the BB's falling out. Is there a method or added extra bit of kit I need? Frankly great to play with but totally impractical in a firefight. Maybe I'm just a moron but please help. I've added some pics to show what I got.
  2. Just thought I'd ask the wider community their advice on this setup. Aesthetically, I'm really keen on an m4 with grande launcher. Is it best to buy each separately or as an all in one package. If separately which is best? I have £400 budget but the further under I can keep it the happier (wife) I be. The picture below is as close as I'd like all round so any more advice on parts etc. would be most appreciated.
  3. I've decided to get a Well Warrior mk.3 from Airsoft World (yet to technically order) but just one part I could use some help with. AW sell the rifle either on it own or with the scope, rings and bipod as a charged extra. Bipod is a definite purchase but as I already have a good quality scope on my air rifle that I barely use, does anyone know the specifics for the rings I need? I wish I could just buy the bipod and scope rings but the site doesn't allow this option. Any ideas?
  4. Surprise, surprise I need some help. I have an A&K mk43, with the standard out the box, box mag. I've already had issues before my current. One of the bipod legs fell off and then the metal catch that holds the mag onto the body unglued itself sending the mag ground bound. All of that has been sorted but the box mag has now decided to be a bitch. The gearbox is screwed, for the most part not feeding, then one bb, none then 5-6, none etc. as I can't get to the gearbox without smashing the casing (ignoring my lack of mechanical knowledge) what do people recommend? Does anyone know of any 3rd market mags that will definitely work on my A&K or am I screwed and need to buy only their brand? Like how owning an Alfa Romeo is the only way to be classified as a true petrol head, your not a true air softer till you've been sucked into and had you heart broken by a support gun. When they work, the best airsofting money can buy. I love my gun but screw me sideways I'm tearing my hair out in frustration. I just want to enjoy a game and not worry if my fat boy prima Donna won't pull a hissy fit and give up. By no means the most expensive airsoft gun at £330, that's still a hefty amount of change for something that's so temperamental. We must be the only hobbyists that allow manufacturers to take the piss so much. Anyway rant over. I don't expect sympathy over a support gun but any help is very, very appreciated. Thank you, attached below is the irritant itself...

  6. As a newly converted sniper, I'm naturally looking to get my own rifle rather than borrowing my mates. The need for mods has been made very clear to me (although how many industries get away this essentialitiy out of the box?) While I've been offered a very nice Druganov with some mods for sale, I am more inclined towards a l96, at least for looks wise. I was hoping if anyone can give me advice in regards of Airsoft sniper parts.com? I know little about mods and as someone who would find changing the oil in his car as stressful as disarming a nuke, I would need someone to fit them. Are they the best or are there better/cheaper? I see they have two setups for a l96 the standard and advanced upgrade. As I said I know little of mods so can anyone give me advice? All I want is a sniper as good as possible so I know that if I miss it's just me being crap rather than the rifle. Any advice is very much appreciated.
  7. Purely on looks wise, I'm tempted mostly towards the l96 variants. So would everyone agree that WELL make the best and if so a particular model? WELL seem a popular SR which I find strange as I've never heard good things about them (bear in mind I've never heard anything a la sniper from them, do they specialise in them or something?). Also what upgrades do people recommend as essential ( if possible brands as well ) I know I'm a pain asking but the idea of upgrading is daunting as even changing my cars oil makes me sweat lol
  8. Thanks chaps. I'll keep everyone posted I really do need a dum-dums guide to airsoft issues/upgrades lol
  9. After attending my latest skirmish (at Ace Airsoft near Wolverhampton. If your wondering it's a top notch site btw) I had a bit of a revelation. Using my M60 in the morning games, it was playing up and really annoying me. Nothing serious, just the box mag constantly knocking over to auto from continum, thus sucking battery as well as the annoying auto feed buzz. So coupled with it's weight and being a bit fiddly to undo and sort out (not to mention some nobs still shooting me when it's bloody obvious I'm fixing my gun) I was getting quite annoyed. Anyway my mates mate's son (I didn't miss add an extra mate lol) who came with us offered his cheap sniper as a fix, probably just to top me moaning. As you can imagine I was a bit skeptical, having been a totally unsubtle M60 user to go sniper. Well what a revelation. I had so much fun and I even broke my record for number of kills in a game (seven! needless to say I'm crap at airsoft). I've had such a smile on my face since. So I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction to the most comprehensive guide to airsoft sniping or even tips from from your own experiences. In particular I'd like to know the best rifles (money no object just time to save), mods, issues etc. A lot to ask I know but any help is much appreciated.
  10. I've recently got my hands on the aforementioned LMG. I'm hoping someone could point me in the right direction concerning some accessories just to finish it off. I'm looking for a decent strap to help lug the beast about (being nearly 22lbs fully loaded, then again expecting it to be light makes you an idiot lol) and also some fake round belt, partly for aesthetics but more so cover the wires protruding from the ammo box (pretty much the only part I'd come close to not liking about it). Thanks for any help. I've added a pic of the gun to help narrow down what I need.
  11. Can anyone recommend the best shop in/around the West Midlands? Maybe I'm just useless with search engines but there really seems little choice. I've been to JD airsoft a few times but I can't really be sure if they are good without comparisons or feedback. I'm looking particularly for a good support weapon, ideally a M249, and as it will be a fairly expensive purchase I want to try it out before I buy. Hence why I don't want to buy from the net. Any help is appreciated and I am willing to try out any recommended shops in the surrounding counties
  12. Cheers chaps. I did know it was a WE but even on an airsoft forum, autocorrect fails find a way lol
  13. While I've given up hope for the latest version of the G36 (probably far too soon for airsoft), I've tracked down a seemingly viable alternative at JD Airsoft, a Well g36 999E. I had a quick feel in the shop and was happily surprised at how light it was even with the attached bipods. Only things is as it's £250ish I wanted to fully research it first but I spent a considerable sum (for me at least). I can not for the life of me find any reviews and I've heard mixed things about Well. Can anyone answer; 1) Are there any reviews/first hand experience that you know of? 2) If good are there any viable drum mags for this model? 3) "" for a decent scope If awful I'm open to saving up more for a better model. Granted my ideas are not a standard issue variant but sod it I just fancied something a bit more unique. Awkward question(s) I know but any help it much appreciated Oh and nearly forgot the link are: JD AIRSOFT; https://jdairsoft.net/primary/assault/96/we-999e-black Well; http://www.weairsoft.com/guns/aeg-automatic-electric-gun/999e-aeg.html
  14. Good point but then again it's just standard practical wear. Berets I felt are much more personal. My stepdad served with the fusiliers and went mental when I was young and tried his on (for the record he's not a nutter, at far as a stepparent goes anyway lol). It's why I started the post just to ensure I don't get a slap, like Mr Super Army Soldier in the previous post will probably get. At least we have our own badge (my profile pic) so that's a start.
