  1. Most g&p stuff is pretty nice. I've had a madbull noveske gen 3 receiver for 4 years now and it's still in excellent shape after so many skirmishes. Also have the madbull noveske rail for 8 years now and barely has any marks somehow.
  2. Mostly stock barrel you get on pistols are pretty terrible quality. I've had so many we glock barrels break on me. I bought a steel gunsmodify one and that was the end of the breaks.
  3. rip my local site, gonna have to search for another that doesn't require a car
  4. An sr2 actually exists and it's made by NPO. Was tempted to buy one in the past but it was only in full auto... tbh, not really much point in using an aep gearbox since the pistols with them are pretty much as compact as things get, albiet with low power.
  5. All plastics are polymers ahah, it's just typical marketing where they go "UBER REINFORCED POLYMER" that makes you think it's a specific material.
  6. Some wild cards you could look at are the KWA 2GX G36c and the SRC gen 3 G36c if they are still around. Not sure about their compatibilities but those two were pretty popular choices back in the days, especially the src.
  7. In my vast testing, a we g18c with a co2 can last 5 full mags, not in the cold though. Similarly, an emg sai blu with g18c internals and a WE g35 slide netted 133 shots (close to 5 mags): Idk why but the we g18c system is pretty efficient, even though there are more parts and is heavier than the g17 system. Weird stuff. Most co2 pistols can get 100+ shots on a single cartridge (kjw 1911, kjw cz pistols, even kwc pistols) TM HK45 can get 100+ shots in a max gas charge. WE CT25 is also surprisingly very efficient (50+ shots iirc)
  8. Ye i'm mostly catching up with people to get their final reviews of the first test. The model the 2nd test is almost done, just need to refine the selector and allow compatibility with mp5 hi caps: https://gyazo.com/8b80fc4a99738cec16102413aa3fdb7f On the side, i'm working on a modern tec 9 to fit on an m4 (was originally an actual tec9 upper for an m4 as a commissioned piece but i'm decking it out more): https://gyazo.com/565d9a13529844461da1224237ad09ff
  9. It could be an SRC like duck said. My initial guess was the KWA 2GX M4 but the two tone of the stock is different. Could also be a G&G cm16 carbine but we won't know unless there's a picture of the other side. If there's no brand marking on the other side either, then... open it up I guess and check what the gearbox says.
  10. With good quality material, yes. Though most 3d printed airsoft stuff i've seen by ebay sellers and similar use cheapo shitto.
  11. Seems i worded what badly. What I meant was: I buy from TG, but only if i'm confident that it's what I need and cannot find elsewhere in the UK. Returning internationally is just a pain in the arse in general.
  12. When I returned to TG for the one time (arcturus AK), I bought a UPS label online and arranged a pickup. It was like £30... I've made myself a rule to never buy from taiwangun unless i'm adamant I will not return it if it goes wrong. So ye, i only use it for parts and some pistols.
  13. Most aegs can shoot 60-70m with a maple leaf hop on 350 fps, costing like... £8?
  14. So uh, I made an interesting purchase today: https://www.justbbguns.co.uk/zg1-spring-pistol/?attribute_pa_colour=black

Keeping out of the way won't be hard, you could probably outrun - or outwalk - 0.2g coming from that. :D

175fps with 0.12g is 0.17J.  Easier to get people to take hits from this:

Still, backup is as backup does, and it's not like you can have too many guns. ;)

Aha it's not really a backup, more of a nostalgia purchase from my favourite site jbbg with the infamous galaxy springers back then.

i meant the material, i think onyx is what it was called, pa6 and short strand carbon afaik.

      AK47frizzle

ahhhh i thought onyx was a cad software. But na, it's colorfabb xt cf20 which is essentially petg mixed with some carbon fibre strands. Aids material to use.

  18. Took the modded cz75 on sunday. Literally the best pistol ever I've used and competed with rifles on range and accuracy. The consistency with rapid firing is nuts. Much better than any glock or hicapa. The 3D printed bbu didn't break either after like 15 reloads.

  19. I've made a 3d printed lightweight bbu for the cz75 and it's insane:

How much would it be for a bbu 3D printed. I don’t like buying standard stuff like to be different if you get my drift. Going on principle that my hi capa hasn’t let me down yet and all that is original all is lower frame and Guide rod and spring. Rest is 3D printed.

if you can/let me know I be happy to run it for you

I don't think a hicapa one would work with traditional 3d printing and materials atm. The cz75 only works because all the slide needs to push back is the hammer and that resets everything. A glock and hicapa have several things that need to pushed back/down, but also the nozzle spring will be held by the 3d printed bbu which I suspect will fail easily. I will need to get into nylons or polycarbonate for that.

I don't think I will get into bbus for other guns for now, sorry.

Okay then never mind thank you anywya

  20. Single action trigger for cz75. Unfortunately the wii tech steel hamer won't work with it.
  21. You sure a v7 wouldn't fit inside it? The ares ppsh gearbox could potentially fit. Maybe an A&K SVD too. Or even the m249 style gearboxes.
  22. What are some other cool small pistols? Might pick up an src tt33 as the we version sucked externally.

Uh i bought the emg tti g34 in silver that literally just came out...

depends on what you mean by small?

makarov and ct25 are pretty good candidates.

      AK47frizzle

pretty much stuff considered sub compact but it's too late now because I've just bought the most gorgeous glock ever and have always wanted to build

  23. WE ct25 is so fucking fun. It can do 8 mags (56 shots, 58 most so far) on a complete gas fill. Time to make some mods for it :D

    1. Adolf Hamster

      Adolf Hamster

how the hell are you getting that many shots per mag?

i can get .32's lobbed an amazing distance but only 7 of them if i'm not mag dumping.....

    2. AK47frizzle

      AK47frizzle

I get 30 shots if I just fill straight in.56 if I hold down the valve first, fill to vent out all the air out, and then immediately let go of the valve whilst still filling. And that's using 0.25s as well.

I've seen similar results from other people too. About 20-30 on a normal fill. But not many people know about releasing the air inside of it, or for green gas pistols in general. Only tm and the "new" ics revo do that automatically.

    3. Adolf Hamster

      Adolf Hamster

I have heard that trick, might give it a go and see, last time i tried seemed wile easy to overfill.

Tbh i'm happy enough if it can send 7 rounds far enough to seriously embarrass the guy on the receiving end (which mine sure does)
