most days I'll do 2 Royal Mail drop-offs, one around midday the 2nd around 4:30pm.  It's a bit of a pain but the post office is only half a mile away.  However these days around 90% of items posted around 4:30pm arrived next day.  Royal Mail is upping their prices every year but I figure I would just absorb them as long as they are providing a decent service.  The odd small eBay packet which isn't tracked will go missing from time to time, you don't know if it generally goes missing or is fraud....anyway I'm digressing now ?

Do Royal Mail not offer you discounted rates due to the sheer volume you must send with them? I know we get discounted rates from some couriers because of this reason.

I have never had a bad experience ordering from you, and neither have anyone I have recommended to you either.  If we did customer service awards, you’d win every time.

RM do offer a discount, basically some loophole where you don't get charged VAT but only on some services.  RM pricing on Large Letter is really good though, the majority of airsoft parts can fit into a Large Letter box fine, hence the cool £1.50 shipping fee

Decided to go try something new and got a zci 229mm, zci plastic hop and a guarder sp100 spring (mine is a 110 currently) from ak2m4. Was heavily debating between a pdi/prommy barrel or the zci solution, but decided for the zci route as i'd fix 2 things in one go (prowin+shitty madbull barrel) at more than half the cost instead of getting a new the barrel and potentially still having it not work because of the prowin fitment issues. Both zci products came at just over £20.

Ok, zci setup is top notch. Works perfectly. Although, it over hops 0.2gs at its minimal setting at 20m, so might need to use heavier ammo or downgrade fps.

Overhopping is gods way of telling you your ammo isnt heavy enough.....

I have a lot of spare bucks from frugal living, so it is doable for me. But, what put me off is the 4 gear whine with completely proprietary parts. Not even side rails with it? Shame. Maybe it'll get aftermarket support because having full aeg performance in such a small, aesthetically pleasing package is what I want.

The amount isn’t the issue, the issue is the amount for exactly what you have just described, I spent similar on my custom and that’s a lot better than this. 

I suppose the price will drop if people start buying them in bulk.

Yes. If you are moving from a site operated by the same people as the new site, you might be able to just play one game and transfer. But usually three games for any new site. 

The L85 single point is like that. I use it on my ARX160.

But... They are nice and shiny! ? In all honesty mate I don't think they do sod all apart from lighten our wallets, and give us an excuse to stripdown a gun and replace perfectly good parts.

I had a TM PX4 that I fitted a inner barrel and and a new piston head to. Comparing it with my completely stock TM HK45T it did not shoot any better whatsoever. 

I've decided to not touch my 45 and just leave it as it is. It works perfectly, and I really doubt I can get much more performance from it. 

The only thing I have done is fitted the purple gas routers for the mags, but I took those from the PX4 mags. Not sure if they do anything either, probably another case of 'upgrading' for the sake of it... 

I've put in purple gas routers too for my hk45. In addition, some laylax neo-r bullet valves, because you still get the same amount of shots (3 mags) but at slightly higher velocities (+12 fps); it doesn't have 4 ports like a normal valves, just a big one like a semi circle and directs all the gas upwards instead of all over the place. The neo-r valve is also adjustable in power which is cool af.

Those 2 and a maple leaf autobot have made it an even better beast.

I have 3 for the makarov and 2 for the hicapa and it's very rare they ever get used unless i run out of rifle ammo and switch or if i've lent it to someone who's doing the same.

Not even magazines, just raw gas performance. Also doesn't spew liquid gas as badly when you tilt the gun downwards. Performance in temperature in addition too.

Apparently has 15mm bbu,  glock-like internals and a sale too. Sounds like upgrade potential.

Ok, my hk45 can get through 85 rounds on one fill in room temperature. We'll see what gas routers and various piston upgrades will do to it. I wonder if i can get at least 100 rounds like my co2 g18c used to do.

The prommey piston head doesnt work at all well for the TM HK45. AVOID. Makes it far worse.

Look for a uprated mushroom cup piston head instead.

I got mine from Airsoft Direct - but I got it from them in person, at the game site they run.
Ring them to check it's actually in stock, as quite often their website and actual stock levels do not match.

You can also try airsoftzone they don't advertise the gun at all but often have them in stock.

It costs the same as my entire airsoft kit,it looks crap too and will probably still need upgrades,that always makes me shake my head when I see £1000+ RIFS

Jesus christ, i'm sorry but coating an otherwise at least iconic gun in superglue and chucking it in a bin of "shit 3-gun people think is important" does not justify that.

It is an rif... unfortunately it was dispatched before i knew I was getting kicked. It was from JKarmy and they said they couldn't do anything about it. So, i'm hoping the customs letter will go to that address, no one will pay it, then it'll get send back to jkarmy and I get a refund. What an unfortunate turn of events.

That's assuming there is a customs letter, it could just pass customs and go out for delivery. Are you on speaking terms with the old landlord ? will he forward post to you ? Who is the courier ? it may be worth contacting them to see if you can arrange alternate delivery, or collection from a depot. Even if the RIF gets sent back it's going to cost you in postage, and I'm not sure what customs do with items where duty is requested and not paid , but I wouldn't count on them bothering to return to sender.

They don't listen or reply and send it off anyway. I dispute on paypal for a return in exchange for full refund, no response for over a week. Escalate to paypal, 2-3 weeks no response from them, so I got my money back and a free pistol ? 

awaits them asking for the pistol back lol.

You only need to give a company 14 days to arange collection, The company has to pay for that collection and it should not inconvenience you.

You need to be able to prove you sent a written deadline, so the Email has to be worded correctly.

After the deadline expires, it is your responsibility to dispose of the item.


I had a £200 fishing box delivered 2 years ago, Then 2 months later they sent me a duplicate. I gave them 14 days to collect, in an email, I got a response, They failed to collect. The fishing box after that point was legally mine. And I've not heard anything back from them about it... I've even ordered from them since.
