      i'd say green gas going by the mag in the photo, and i'm making the presumption that the op wasn't stupid enough to put something like co2 in a green gas mag.

      Na, I give. It is partially my fault for using co2 mags even though it was only at 310 fps. It is a mixture of it being a lemon slide + me using co2 which apparently, invalidates their policy.

       

      There is still something to said about milspec customer service though, because whilst they aren't wrong, they've taken a reach douchey way about it claiming that it is their first time hearing about slides breaking and not dealing with it just because it is not a "known issue".

       

      Can't win this, just time to move on. I wouldn't be able to return it anyway because I was retarded enough to pass the gas mag on. Ah well. Guess i'll be looking at new slides.

      He'll ask for the UKARA, their name and postcode (so be sure to get this first) and then let you know if it's valid.

    K, so WE co2 mags do just a little over 4 25rnd mags on one co2 cartridge with the lowest fps being 321. I can imagine it only being better with the upgrades i'm about to do to it.

      Ok, new maple leaf barrel, hop and bucking and it shoots 320-300 fps consistently now from 360 avg wtf

    Came with the pistol but I have no intention of using green gas ever, so just gonna quickly pass it on to someone who wants it. Not a single BB or a smidgen of gas has been through this mag, so it is as fresh as it can be. Note, it has an enlarged base plate which means it will stick out the sides at the bottom. Delivery will cost £3 unless you are in Dundee in which we can arrange a meeting.

    sooooo.... we co2 mags were advertised to shoot 310 fps on 0.2s.... they shot 378 on first and averaged ~368-340. That's not good.

    Na. Although i'm not a fan of the glock, it has lots of upgrades available and more importantly, fun mode. Oh, and co2 mags. Deagle has... style but if it breaks, it's done for.

      which gun? i've found we stuff to be very variable, some stuff like the 226 and the makarov are excellent (especially the makarov) but other stuff like the luger need to stretch the definition of "hop"

      we g force g18c. Full hop only pushes one side down haha but glad i bought a maple leaf which is on the way

      yeah a common theme i've noticed is both the sig and makarov needed a wee spacer (just a cut up square of aeg hop) to get enough lift to run a maple leaf.

       

      however, considering the sig now saves itself for when i feel like going on sniper troll patrol the results are quite impressive.

       

      that said, i had to pull the same trick on my hicapa when i got it (admittedly secondhand).

    Fuck i'm just going to buy a we g18c from the uk/eu. It's really not worth hassle of customs from hk websites. I'll pay the extra £20.

      @GemsHD If you use a green gas it's true that the front screw post likes to destroy itself, but a Guarder frame (has more plastic and a brass insert around the front post) will fix that right up and feels nicer too.

      Urgh, I can't stand buying from outside the common market.  VAT + duty + then being pumped with a charge for the privilege of being allowed to pay VAT + duty is the insult after the injury. I prefer to pay up front rather than to wait for a random spin on the Wheel-O-Imports.

      I did some calculations and for a we g18 pistol, it would cost around £100 including shipping and customs 20% hit. It would cost £125 to just buy from milspecsolutions next working day...

      Never heard of them either so caveat emptor.  I was surprised when in HK earlier in the year how small many of these retailers are.  Even well known ones such as ehobby and WGC are relatively small affairs.

      Well, was planning to buy it because of the preupgraded slide of different aesthetic of the lower but I can see some people going "urgh" because of the silver slide. There is a black version too which I might to for because of the more subtle look. Idk, but it's on my radar atm.
