Latter part of last year I actually asked a friend of mine who works in the metal forming business with cnc facilities the same question when I wanted something bespoke making that I had designed up, and his advice was as follows ……… “DONT DO IT !!!” He said just the coding of the CNC would cost me like 3 grand as I don’t have the cad files for it and that was “mates rates” and if that was bang on first time no revisions not including the cost & time of Fabbing the item. /ps Turn the BOLD off on your replies

Well I did say I’ve started a new project just the other day, I’m trying to get that one done in the next week or so but before hand I wanna get the theory of what fans/blowers to use and the amount and the powering system This new project even got a “Wow! That’s actually good” comment from my misses and she’s had over 27 Years of my insane ideas

The blowers are not that expensive less than a £10 for 4, my issue is the wiring, I’m gonna pop round my local electronic shop in the week and see about that.

Cheers @Tommikka the second link just takes me to my order history ^^ the fans I’m using are WINSINN 25mm Fan 5V DC Brushless Quiet Cooling 2510 25x10mm For 3D Printer Notebook - 2Pin 0.1A 0.5W 8500+-10% RPM so the ampage to go into that calculator is 0.1 but as I am using 4 it will be 0.4 amps?

Anyone good with electronics/wiring ? I can wire a simple fan to a battery box with built in on/off switch but doing something slightly more complex is currently out of my wheel house. I want to wire 2 or 4 fans to a on/off switch then the switch to a Tamiya (or a Deans) connector. I plan to use 2 or 4 Brushless cooling fans Rated voltage: DC 5V and then to a Lipo battery, currently I use a 9v battery (rechargeable) in a battery box which easily powers 2 of the fans. What on/off switch would I need to handle the load (use Amazon for ideas for ease of purchase) and would a 7.4V lipo be enough to power upto 4 Fans ? Can anyone knock up a wiring diagram for me plz ? (please make it idiot proof for me)

Lots of us have “lost” their UKARA but as long as we don’t try and sell them or flash them about in public we are good, I would personally pick one or two of you older pew-pews and look at/down the upgrade route to make them “playable” until I have done the 3 game rule and got my UKARA and buy something nice n shiney As long as they way your carrying your Pew’s doesn’t look like Pews whilst using “pubic-transport” then you should be ok

@Adolf Hamster Almost every business has got fucked this last year, I’m self employed so I was earning zero moolar even more so than most as I live in the fuck-wit city that is Leicester who couldn’t follow simple rules, I think from March 2020 to May 2021 I worked a total of 17 weeks out of 60+ weeks There’s always ways to improve/succeed without be a douche to your customers. Happily I’m now back fully working I’m back being my usual happy self putting my clients first and even tho I lost a sack load of money whilst still paying costs which have now increased I still haven’t increased any of my rates to my people as I know they are probably struggling financially too.
