@Speedbird_666 Very nice matey - 3D printing is one thing I’ve been very tempted getting into but I’m being blocked by the misses with either of the following “it’s too expensive” or “‘it’s just another fad” and being honest I wouldn’t know where to start with the 3D software (old dog new tricks..)

@Shamal well I tested the goggle/mask/fan today it worked a treat to remove any fogging within seconds of turning on of the fan but on the bad side that the goggles are great for pistol only use but the mask is too wide to get my cheek down to the stock so I could use my scope effectively. I’m gonna make that mask my pistol only Mask and look at thinking on to work around but it does mean I might need to take a closer look at my skull mask. on a Side note the Reverse Bandoleer worked absolutely bang on

I should really think about doing something with mine - haven’t taken it out of its box since I bought it and played with the fun switch with a tracer unit on it last summer - I’m a terrible AAP owner tbh

@Mr. No_Face Most definitely, atm it weighs probably close to 3lbs so far excluding the under structure as I’ve used 1kilo of modelling clay I’m trying to get it done for the AFUK meet up @ Z-Mart at the end of July 🙏

@Druid799 It’s still gonna be a hard pass on messing with my eyes - rather be short sighted than be the unlucky one when something goes “pete tong”

In my current goggle-hack fan set up, both blow down into the goggles and that jeeps my glasses fog free 101% of the time the fan is running as I only switch them on when I start to see a bit of fog starting

This is what I’m thinking about doing in my skull mask if I don’t use my Xfog for it, make the mask self contained fan either side with a battery in the middle and a on/off switch on one side ( @Speedbird_666 sorry for nicking your image to show my idea as I’m not yet at the stage with my skull mask )

Heheh your right but from what I’ve heard they have to numb up your eye first and there’s only one guess how that happens

I was thinking about going but I have a test on to deal with on the Saturday and there’s ZERO chance of me being able to reschedule that I will be well up for it 2022 tho

@ShamalThink “Monkey Skull meets Punisher logo”, there’s a fair bit of sculpting around the lenses and atm debating wether to sculpt the long teeth of just paint them on the mesh guard sometimes I wish I would pull the trigger on eye surgery but I’m too chicken and really don’t want to see the needle coming at my eye….

So here’s a sneak peak on the work in progress to my new project which I think will surpass my mask/mesh combo hack. It will be designed to go over a pair of Bollé Pilot goggles and snap to the out goggle frame and I’m hoping it will weigh less than the mask/mesh combo (atm it weighs a fuck tonne)

Oh I will add if you have some mouldable putty (like Sugru) to surround the fan/s it will cut down on a lot of the fan whine and will protect it a little too

@Speedbird_666 I have mine blowing down into the goggles as it’s my spectacles that do the fogging not the goggles themselves

@rj1986 Yea those packets of Elbow grease was a nightmare to find for some of the newbies 😂

The blowers are not that expensive less than a £10 for 4, my issue is the wiring, I’m gonna pop round my local electronic shop in the week and see about that.

@Rogerborg what’s the air flow like ?

only issue is that u can see the wires…. Was sooooooo off putting when I had a Ford a few years back BUT I do miss the lack of scrapage on those frosty mornings
