    honestly at this point i'd just be claiming back on paypal. i know hitting the shops in the wallet isn't fair given it's ups's incompetence, but a shop arguing with them over a few hundred orders is gonna have more leverage than joe bloggs on his own could do. plus it'll convince the shops that they need to switch to competent couriers. i mean last international order i placed took 6 days from moscow, which is how long an international order should take when it's handled by a competent company.

      Literally me yesterday while fiddling with my AAPs, one hammer lock thingy springs went flying.

      Now there's a selector plate/cutoff spring in there :D

      From what I can see in the GCS you can set the cycle detection to manual for both semi and auto.

      But I don't think it's worth the extra penny they ask for the expert.

      yeah, of course i don't wanna override the cycle detection cos otherwise what's the point of having a titan in there in the first place :P

       

      i'll strip the box later just check everything's running ok.

       

      in other news the warhead motor is an interesting beast, doesn't "feel" like it should be as torquey as it is but goddamn if it doesn't have insane pickup speed.

       

      this thing has the semi response of a 40rps gun in one that's only actually doing 18, which tbf was sort of what i was aiming for.

    that's surprising, i mean it's exactly how e&l barrels are attached i'm just surprised an RS works the same way. i kinda presumed given their whole "these are made in an actual ak factory" deal that it would have been fixed, although i'm happy to be wrong on that one.

    ooh she's a beauty. curious how the outer barrel is mounted- is it removable or is it a case of you'd have to dissassemble the hop then pull the inner out the front?

    Hmm ive seen that before, 1911's that happens when the sear has worn. Shouldnt be any issue rounding off that edge although it might be of limited help

    in fairness, depending on your personal standard of acceptable performance, all but the most premium brands (and i'm talkin systema not tm) might need tweaking out of the box. it can be as much about stock availability as anything else, some stuff you just can't get over here, or if you can it's so overpriced you might as well buy from overseas. in @Asomodai's example, even if he got stung with 50% of the value of 20 pps shells as charges he's still saving £44 buying abroad, if you ain't in a rush then it's worth it. meanwhile, i'm curious to see if DHL will stick to their claim of delivering yesterdays GS order next tuesday, if they do that'll say a hell of a lot about UPS given moscow is a tad further away than krakow and definately not in the eu......

    do they do digiflora or spectre? problem is i don't do plate carriers (mans has enough padding without adding more) so ubacs style stuff doesn't work.

    welp, finally being let out to play again this weekend and just not feeling excited.

     

    guess i'm worried that the flood-gates opening will leave some poor sportsmanship for a month or so before it all settles down.

      at least it's good enough weather now to get the dragonuv running

      My game at greenops last Saturday was a real joy. No moaning or griping all day.

      The sun was out and I think everyone was just pleased to be out and playing.?

    you get used to it. although i suspect post lockdown i'll be sticking with the jg for a while got some CZ stuff off a mate is pretty good stuff, although it's pretty much a case of pick your favourite of the myriad gun oils/preservatives. just a spray on and a good wiping with a rag tends to bring it up a treat unless it's really been let go.

    good to be pleasantly surprised then. kinda funny how i was kinda obsessive about getting my m4 super lightweight (within the limits of believability at least), but i like my ak's with a bit of heft to them. dunno if you've already heard about it, but be prepared to be fighting the ol' rust, they do need to be kept clean and oiled (unless rusty is what you're going for)

    it's custom work he does, the pics are customer's guns he's done. don't know what his rates are but presumably quite pricey, although the pics speak for why.... one of these days i'll have enough spare cash to comission the svd for such treatment.......
