    I believe the standard trigger is adjustable where the sports is not. Doesn't bother me a huge amount. I think part of this is the wow factor of getting the full version, which when you're spending a fair amount of money, you feel you might as well go the whole hog. So I am still on the fence! What spring does it come with stock? Or rather what FPS is stock? Cheers!

    Cheers for your advice guys. I have brought the choices to the 20inch Sport Gen 3 and the 16inch Covert Gen 3. If I were to get the sport could I just get these short rails so I can have side rails or would I require another piece of hardware? https://www.longbowbb.co.uk/product-page/srs-rails-3-pack I would like to have the shorter one, but I have no need for a bipod and the price difference between the Sport version and the 16" is £130. With that extra money I could grab the side rails, two extra mags and the fast hop and still have change left over. Is it true that the trigger is different on the sport version? What do you guys think?

    So. I have sold my gas Tavor out of frustration and I am now looking at buying an SRS. But what to get?! There are so many choices! Looking at the Gen 3's from Firesupport. I am new to sniping, but I have an almost fully upgraded Well MB09 which is actually a lovely performer, all AirsoftPRO/Action Army internals apart from the Hop unit, which is stock and has an AirsoftPRO arm. Will the SRS be of similar performance out of the box? I know this has been probably asked a-lot, but why would I choose the normal version over the sport? Is there any reason to get the longer version over the 22"? I am a tall guy, but I don't see myself with the 16" unless its actually a better performer then its longer cousins. Lastly... OD, FDE or Black?!

    Anyone got an opinion on Maple Leaf AEG 6.02 barrels? Usually would go with ZCI ones, but the lengths I want are out of stock and quite hard to get hold of (Over 509mm)

    The MP5 is ready to ship back to me after a delay. They also knocked a-lot of money off of the work to say sorry. I am paying much less then I though I would be! Pretty happy bunny :)

     

    They also offered to help with the work on one of my other RIFs that is currently with another retailer to be fixed.

      Amazing ! Me thinks there’s a very good chance the possibility of being named and shamed on a forum for the quite exclusive market they work in has had a positive effect for you ?

      @Druid799 I actually believe its a coincidence. I sent them an email asking for an update before I posted the rant. I think the Email itself gave the impetuous to complete the work rather then the off chance of them seeing that post. 

       

      Having said that, this particular retailer had me waiting less then others and responded to email enquiries fairly promptly.

      have to say of recent I have heard a few negatives about there services being not as good as it used to be , shame really as they used to have such a good rep and if I did need to buy in the U.K. they were always my first port of call .

    Got up early to go to Tactical in Croydon as it was the only site I could visit this month because of scheduling. Charged my batteries, all dressed up with bus times in hand, walked to the end of the road and turned back around back into the house and unpacked. 

     

    Even if I could get there in time the safe zone is too small and I might be setting up on the ground etc. It was the only site I have ever left from early before, 2 and a half hour journey on underground, southern rail, bus and a 40 minute walk. 

     

    Cant be arsed. Maybe I'll book into Bunker 51 for tonight if I feel like it.

    Bits for my MG36 build. ASG Ultimate M95 AEG spring. I like these as its a weak rated M95, so more like a M92/3? No chance of it being 350 FPS, but can be very close to. Prommy Purple bucking.

    Just got my new JG G36 through the post. Pretty sure it is a Gen4 as it has the JG Hop unit that has the feed tube on the Hop unit. The barrel length is only 263mm where it should be 509mm! Pretty happy to have it though for my MG36 project! Nice Nylon fibre body.

    Yes. When I first bought my TM Strike Warrior it wouldn't fully cycle as the slide had zero lube. Lube the slide and then use it til it breaks.

    Potential customs charge, further drops in the pound vs the euro etc. Confusion from individual stores about whether they can send it. Just want to get it in now then tempt fate.

    Its not too difficult to do. Just need to add a drum mag and its done (And find a G36 Red Laser for the scope rail to be 100% but not a real issue). I doubt I could use it as a support gun in most fields that have semi only as the MG36 is kinda/sorta not recognised as an LMG. Though in this case I will be gutting the internals to run on a 9.9v Life/11.1V Lipo. All new compression parts, 16:1 gears, basically run it fast but not too fast. Having said that, I have just ordered an AirsoftPro G36 Hop unit and air Nozzle from the Czech Republic as these will be difficult to get with Brexit and all coming up. I also ordered this curious thing, I bemoan the lack of bolt holes on the full size G36 to not be able to add handguard rails, but I found this nifty thing that replaces the scope mount bolts with a rail and longer bolts.

    Oh dear. Last one for a while (Honest!?) JG/Golden Eagle G36E Gen 4. This is for my MG36 build. Got it for only 105 euros. Also picked up the only upgrade kit for the ARX160, Cylinder head, Piston head, spring guide and Air nozzle. Strap harness for my ARX as well. 2X Cyma SVD High caps.

    I just bought myself an FMA AirFrame based on what people have said here. My massive bonce manages to fit in the helmet with room to spare. Its a solid unit mind, not exactly lightweight!

    AirsoftPRO M140 spring to replace the M150 one that gave me 560 FPS with my Well MB09. Hopefully this will bring it down under the limit. Finally got a helmet that fits my massive noggin. FMA Airframe. Huge helmet for not a lot of money. Struggling to find a Woodland cover for it for ok money though.
