or you could all be wrong and it could be the best thing? who knows really, all comes down to how you care for it also
You asked us for opinions, but when given you're immediately actively trying to disregard them? You seem to already have your heart set on it, so why bother asking?
Are you a shill for Vorsk?
It doesn't ALL come down to "How you care for it" It actually mostly comes down to "How shoddily made it is".

My 15 Yr old cousin has been getting into this airsoft thing and he's has been playing with rentals on sights for a while now and I want to get him an RIf for his bday, but my problem is I don't have an ukara licence would I still be able to get him an RIF and is gifting a valid defence?
You cannot purchase a RIF yourself as you do not have a valid defence, so no you cannot give him a RIF. But you could buy him a two toned airsoft gun (IF) if you are 18+ and gift him that. -

Yup, love mine. £130 for the gun with upgrades plus 2 mags makes it a bit of a bargain in my book.
Did the upgrades make an appreciable difference? My DOR was shooting out to ~35m last game day. Temperature was around 10C so I was running Abbey Predator gas. Unsure of the fps, but the hop was pretty much at it's max to lift the 0.28s out that far. I think that means there's some more performance to unlock as I've seen videos of TM Hi-capas reaching out to 50-60m (in USA, so probably much warmer) TBH for a backup pistol 35m is really all that's necessary, but I always like some small excuse to buy more stuff...Mine easily hits out at 50M+ Regardless of temps. Having said that the biggest upgrade is the tensioner. The bucking and barrel went in because I had them lying around which gave it a power increase.

So Teams are for the most part not a thing in Airsoft. More like loose groups of friends that form naturally through regular play at the same site.
It is also highly unlikely that any established "Team" that you're thinking of will take on a complete newbie.
It's very common for people to go on their own at first and gain friends by becoming a regular.

Public transport is rubbish. I couldn't even get a job next town and turn up at 7:30 on a daily basis because it's so unreliable. I can't really imagine how somehow could manage to play airsoft on different sites on a regular basis. Big cities may be different but around here no chance.Ahem...
Searched for '"Se Tour Review:"' in Topics (airsoft-forums.uk)
About half these were done on public transport. You just have to be committed to getting up early and not mind 1 hour walking transfers 🙂

I feel that SRC gets a bad rep for it's cheaper lines. However like many other brands it does have it's good and (admittedly mostly) bad products.
The V3 Gen 3 SRC Gearbox is genuinely very solid, the stock SRC Magnatar motor is a very very good motor and I still snap them up these days.
SRC were the first brand to make a genuine stamped steel MP5 AEG which is very good quality (Not to be confused with the cheaper models).
The one thing I would accuse SRC of is complacency, they have fallen behind most of the competition when it comes to modern features on their entire range.

Heya.
Is it possible that we can make it completely obvious when an item has been sold? I keep getting contacted almost once a week by new users who are unaware that "Completed" means it's probably sold, on stuff I have had for sale some time ago.
Cheers.

I want to purchase an M150 spring for my aeg. It's the cybergun colt m4 blast blue fox. I'm struggling to find a detailed spec sheet on this gun but I believe it contains metal gearing in its V2 gearbox. As a noob I need to know, will all aeg springs fit this gun? I have seen some saying compatible with Aires striker. Which leads me to believe not all aeg springs fit all aeg guns.
If anyone can tell me how to identify the right spring I'd be very grateful.
Also if anyone has a link to a detailed spec sheet on this gun that would be great too.
P.S. I have already been made aware of the legal issues of such power in an auto but I have a lot of private land and this spring is purely for distance target practice. I'm 40 years old and not some crazy kid looking to hurt or damage anyone or anything!
Also recommendations for a good barrel and hop up to pair with this gun would be helpful.
Thanks in advance guys.
Private land means nothing when you are intending to break the law. Just because you are 40 makes no difference in the eyes of the law. If (And I am aware its a big if) you're caught doing it and is publicised by the media, it will only mean trouble for Airsoft as a whole in the UK.
I will not be an accomplice to helping you try and create a section 5 firearm and I urge other people here to not help you either.
Get an Airgun instead as it's far more suitable for what you're doing and more importantly legal.

£420 for a rif that might be brand new, or you can get a certified brand new one with warranty for £280 from LWA... Decisions, decisions...
Another one here.
Or get the tan one from LWA for 255.

One last one that I may let go though I am genuinely undecided.
I have seen the prices shoot up for these recently. So may be worthwhile letting go.
Includes the following quality of life upgrades.
PTS Magpul PDR-C - 340FPS
PTS Battery extension
Perun mosfet
Rocket 16TPA Vented Motor
Rocket 16:1 Gearset
Krytac 4 Metal tooth piston
Krytac Cylinder Head
Bizarrely for an Ares hop unit and stock barrel, this rifle really flings out on .28 and .3. one of my rangiest rifles despite the size.
What say you all?

Favourite:
LCT AMD-65. It's had issues with it's inner barrel since I got it (Accuracy is balls), but I love the ergonomics.
Best: Difficult to say, probably my E&L AKM as it's been utterly reliable.
Special Mention: JLS RX4, its been upgraded and fires lazers with a really straight trajectory. Sadly it's not feeding correctly at the mo. But will be my best performing rifle.
Worst: KWA/Umarex Gas Tavor. Utter crap and lost a tonne of money on it.

Very nice I am on the look out for a gen 2 so it would be a faux pas on my part to suggest a price.
I will be keeping an eye out on the classified.
However just to throw an idea out there. You could just use it as an AK103 if your committed to replicating the 7.62 AK's you could keep as is or if you want the standard factory look, you would just need the AK74M full black polymer stock.Discord groups are saying 400 at the moment. But looking at other opinions.
I already have two 7.62 AKs, no need for another. I use my AMD65 for Tacticool!

E&L Gen 2 Platinum AK74.
This has never been used. Bought brand new 2 years ago and has never left the house. Installed is a 5KU PT3 with the separately purchased upgraded hardened steel stock adapter. Also installed is a VS24 lower Handguard.
Otherwise it is stock Platinum internals (Much more superior to the current E&L essentials line) Neodymium High torque motor, one piece Cylinder and Cylinder head air seal etc
True blue steel receiver, comes with the original box, original triangle stock and plastic lower Handguard. Two high cap mags included.
FPS is 335. Stock shimming sounds pretty good.
No idea how much it's worth.
This is the last of my vast collection that I am selling off (Finally down to 8 rifles from 32!) Only getting rid of it as I committed to 7.62 AK's 🙂 -
Cheers all. Have put it up for £90 with postage included.

OK, thanks all. Do you reckon any retailers just have old stock still, rather than newly made old designs? There must be an Aladdin's cave out there somewhere!
Very few left over, and most have poor websites. The best places that would have left over stock are probably are not online and based in HK/Japan.
You may still find some bits left over on Dentrinity who are a classic shop and run on an invoice based system.
Octagon may have some bits left as well.

Hey all.
Photo uploaded, but I have a TM Hi Capa gold match. Only fielded maybe twice. In good condition (Has some rash where a hard plastic holster has been used), with Flamingo Pink 50 Degree bucking and ML I key Tensioner.
Works brilliantly, however I will not be including a mag in the sale as I want to keep it for another Hi Capa of mine.
Includes the original box (Tatty) with original unopened manual and Grip tape)
What should I be asking for this?

Hey folks, new player here, looking for advice on worthwhile sites and meeting people to play with.
I live in the northern part of Islington, and don't have access to a car at the mo so I'm a bit worried good sites may be limited for me. I've been down to Bunker51 in Woolwich but it honestly wasn't my cup of tea. Was quite limited and I think I'm after a bit more of a milsim experience than team deathmatch. The rental guns I used were crap too and broke repeatedly which ruined the majority of my time there.
Anyway, I've got an AEG now and some of my own kit, but have been struggling on a few fronts. First is finding a battery I can fit into my gun that isn't out of effing stock. Secondly, finding decent sites that are less CQB focused and more medium range in nature! Finally, meeting up with some decent folk to get stuck in with would be great. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated, cheers!See some of the SE Tour Reviews in the Skirmish Review section of the forum. Many of those sites are public transportable from London if you don't mind getting up early.
Note: Bunker 51 is the only site near central London. There are only 4 sites within the M25 and one of them you can't reach without a car as it's in Abridge. (The other two are Red 1 Chislehurst and D&A Dropzone which are both out Kent way both are small woodland sites)

These are double stack 1911 mags. But upper part of the pistol is Hicapa.
So your gas capacity isn't going to be great. This will work much better with warm mags.

If you experience MidCap syndrome where it struggles to feed the first few rounds when the mag is completely full, then cut them down. If not then leave as is.

Got me some Kickass DNC in Warsaw Poland for my buddies and myself last weekend, Helikon make a great range, you'll never see it in the UK though.
Israeli customs pulled me aside wondering what the hell I was doing bringing them into the country a few days ago. I imagine getting to Madrid it won't be so bad ..
