Thanks for all the info guys, really appreciate it! I wasn't aware of the 1.3J legal limit on full auto so thanks for that. I will be buying a chrono soon, not for that reason but so I can know my gun is site acceptable when I start gaming n go for my ukara licence.

I will go with a 130 spring then and see what happens, I'm currently putting .25 bbs through the gun but will up that to .3 or just above.

I have played with the hop up but it seems to put an arc on the bb rather than helping it with straight range. Maybe I'm just expecting too much from an airsoft gun!

Again thanks for all the info it's helped a lot!

You will be well above the full auto limit with a 130 spring. Go with a m110. (And hope its not above the limit.)

I'm firing inside my house so it can't be a temp issue. I'm using WE X2 green gas. Filling the mag with bottle held upside down, holding for 7 to 10 seconds.

As I said I have oiled the hammer valve and purged which massively increased the 6 shots I initially got but I'm still not getting a full mag.

Could it be a wear in issue, will improve over time as the mag is used?

I'm planning to switch to red gas as I have read it's higher pressure, hoping that will cure the issue as well as increase my fps a little.

My AA 1911 with slim mags does not operate well enough even inside a house if its 15 degrees or so. I need to have the mags in my pocket for a little while to warm up to get through a whole mag.

1911's apart from TM's are a real struggle to operate in the winter.

PS... The reason for wanting the higher power spring and increased fps is SOLELY for home, outdoor, longer range target practice. The colt m4 has quick change spring system, meaning I can easily switch back to lower spring for games.

I simply want to be able to fire a heavier bb, at decent range for target shooting for my own enjoyment. I'm not some moron who wants to hurt anyone.

Unless you convert the rifle to single shot only before installing the heavier spring, Then you will essentially have a section 5 firearm which is illegal.

  4. The other option is the SRC Mp5 (The more expensive one) These have true stamped steel receivers. Basic internals. But ripe for upgrading. I think it's a more accurate copy of the real thing then the ICS version. They also have the SD flavours.

I wouldn't mind the ICS CES-P if it was the MP5SD5 version.

Yeah I left the lipo connected in the gun overnight. First time I've ever done that.

For charging I use an IMAX b6 genuine.

    I'm a dumb charger! Lol.

Does the rifle has a mosfet? Some of them can drain batteries quite easily when not in use.

  6. I wrap them up with something like PTFE Tape. Enough to bunch the tape up when you slam the pin in, so there is enough pressure to stop it from falling out. My old Ares OTTO Repa's pins were very loose and this solved it.

2022 was a massive transition for me in my Personal life as well as my Airsoft life, which began with a massive slimming down of the rifle collection and augmentation of the clothing...

Gone are all of my Russian kit as I cannot bring myself to wear it (The Gorka 1 being the exception as can be used for other loadouts).

I have travelled to France, Poland and Hungary last year to get some of this kit. (Considering I am an awkward size, it was important to do this!).

I lost a lot of weight this year (16 stone 8 to just a tad under 15 stone). So I swim in much of the F2 French Kit I bought last year, so much so that I had to go back to Paris to get replacements and ended up with superior but heavier T3/T4.

I still need a nice green Chest Rig/Molle Vest, Maskpol MAPA Boonie in Large and T3/4 French CCE Shirt.

My favourite kit is the latest, which is the MAPA as it's such a good looking kit. But I am most proud of the Hungarian kit, considering how impossible it is to get decent condition garments in the UK especially in my size. A trip to Budapest was mandatory.

This year is the year of DNC. I want to replace my existing kit with some more substantial Helikon-Tex replacements.

  8. So I have a PX4.

I love the ergonomics, the additional back straps to fit to your hand. (Though the larger must be made for Giants and I am not a tiny guy).

Shoots lasers, Trigger is nice for a double action. Rotating barrel is nifty and gives you the ability to adjust the hop without taking the slide off.

Trigger springs are the main wear point on the PX4. I don't think the HK45 has any specific weakness.

If you want a fairly unique pistol, I'd say the PX4 is a good choice. Better then let's say an FN57 which needed a fair bit of fettling.

There's been some interesting stuff at the MOA pop up, especially in the GBB department.

The thing I've already bought in my head was the Spas 12 that popped up inexplicably sitting next to golden eagles gas Shotgun range.

Any photos of the Spas12? I can't find any reference to one

  10. So loaded up with COVID to the gills (Actually it's my first time and it's not bad, though I hate not being able to taste or smell anything). I decided to do some BF Shopping. To complete a loadout I have been long waiting to finish.

    My Grey/Blue Tartan Contractor loadout.

    Picture 1 of 3

I already bought this a couple of years ago and LOVE it.

I needed to get a Black Tactical vest to go with it as I only have a Tan Urtactical Chest Rig at the moment outside my French Surplus stuff.

    No photo description available.
    Pentagon Apsis Vest in Black.

Helikon 1 Hole Balaclava in Shadow Grey

    Viper Bob Hat in Titanium

Viper Folding Dump Back in Black

All from Military1st with 15% BF discount (I have surprisingly never bought from them before)

    Invader Gear Reveger TDU Pant

Invader Gear Revenger in Wolf Grey from Patrol Base.

Should all go together quite nicely!

Sorry for the mega necro, but I am in the same situation, whenever I tighten my grip the gun becomes whiny. I checked and there is slack between the grip and the motor, so I can't figure out how sanding the inside of the grip might help with this.

Did you ever manage to solve this @Asomodai?

For the record, tried with the OEM cyma grip, a Cyma US palm clone and an E&L grip.

It helped when my tech put a large o ring over the end of the motorcage and then tighten the grip.
