So I have kept this mostly quiet but I am a bit of a musician. At the moment I am listening to a lot of MOL.
It's like if Deafheaven actually kept trying to improve on their first couple of albums sound rather then get cleaner and lighter. I love the mix of Minor and Major keys. Feeling depressed only to feel hopeful one riff later.
Their album Diorama was last years most criminally underrated album in the metal world.

I have Italian Vegetato Invader Gear kit, and they do wash out really easily. Stick to 30 degrees or less, turn inside out and it fades a lesser amount.

have you looked at the london gun company they do a cabinet to hold 6-7 or 9 plus rifles
None of these will be able to take my rifles.

(Too soon?)
I'm not clear on what your priorities are. "Not on show" and "not too messy" sounds like you want them inside some sort of structure, rather than just bin bags and a tie-down strap holding them together. Do you care if it's secure? Are you after something more, or less, complicated than a Björk cupboard from Ikea?
Yes, it would have to be inside some sort of structure. Out of sight and out of mind. It does not have to be secure.
It's not too soon 😉 Our split was unrelated to Airsoft purchases 😛

This is the ideal solution, however, may be out of my hands as a-lot of London flats come already furnished and they don't want their furniture removed, many beds do not have drawers. So would rather have a different solution on hand.

Maybe get a carpenter to knock you up one from plywood based on the size of the biggest rifle/box to set the footprint? Doesn't need drawer shelves I suppose to make it even simpler.
This is an interesting idea actually. I may need to consider this. Some of the rifles are quite wide and long though, so not sure if this particular one would fit them.

Hello all.
As some of you may know, my marriage ended a few months ago. It was foreshadowed for a while. My ex is buying me out, so I am going to be out of a 3-bed house into a very small, rented studio room/flat (At three times of the cost per month of my mortgage mind you).
In preparation for this I have sold approximately 20 odd rifles over the past few months, I have 9 left, of which two will be for sale when tested. I have resolved to keep the remaining 7 (With another FAMAS being an eventual purchase, so will need room for 8.)
I currently have boxes for 5 of them, plus lots of rifle bags. I want to be able to store them in my eventual room in the smallest space possible, so they are not on show, don't take up much horizontal room and not look too messy.
So, bags are out as it is just too messy. I want the rifles to be stacked vertically in the smallest floor footprint as possible. It's bad enough that I have loads of gear as well that needs to be stored as well, but the rifles are the biggest annoyances.
Any out of box suggestions?
(The rifles I have decided to keep, because some people seem to like updates on what I have :P)

I remember few years ago I brought one in sale for £150 from taiwengun .
Same.
I sold mine for around 220 a month ago which was fully upgraded admittedly without a smart MOSFET system.
Didn't exactly get snatched up immediately either.
This is a rip off.

Closest you'll find is Epsom Bunker, CAMO on Canvey Island or Hockley Arena. There is nothing inside the M25 beyond Bunker and the Tunnels.
I wouldn't say any of these sites were particularly good CQB.

Use a screwdriver and just flick the wheel off the end of the nozzle in the bottom photo. Get the wheel out of the receiver where the barrel was removed.
Insert the wheel back on and reassemble. Should be pretty simple.
If you want a direct upgrade/replacement then buy this.

Bristol Airsoft courthouse was probably my favourite site, had some amazing fun there especially when it was only about 10 of us at a game. Sadly though the site has shut down for the foreseeable.
Just checked the FB account and it seems like that the Courthouse is permanently closed.

Anyone been to Bristol Airsoft? mid-week games work best for me and now my super-local Z-mart aren't doing them anymore I need to find somewhere new to get my fix.
Bristol Airsoft seem to run games all through the week which would make fitting it into the diary much easier, but it'd be good to know what it's like before driving the hour there. The other option (also an hour) is Strikeforce CQB.

I couldn't care less what my ex would or would not post about me.
I would make sure I was the better person and not air dirty laundry in public. What good could this possibly do for your situation or son?

I have two ex's. One of which I don't speak with and one of which I am still living with (A very recent development and the reason why I have been very quiet forum wise).
I would never air my grievances of my ex partners on a public forum. Keep it private, it's just not the done thing and reflects badly on you.

Looking to sell my M16. Comes in original box with low cap mag and 3 x 370 rnd mags. Last chrono was 396fps but only had 12 mags run through from new.
Looking for £200 collect from Swindon SN1.
Will upload pics tomorrow.
So you want to sell an M16, but you don't say what brand it is and it's also a section 5 firearm because it's firing over the UK limit for full auto.
Good job.

Well, having once again spent more money than I planned on this sodding sport... I find I am going to be running effectively two platforms... M4 and SVU..
Sooo... I need some pouches to hold some SVU mags on my Mk IV Osprey Body armour. I'm wondering if the LMG pouches would fit the mags?
Any suggestions appreciated.
------------------------------
Actually think I've answered this myself.... Found a grenade pouch in my spares box and they fit quite snugly.
Had I known I would have tried the mags in these.
Not 100% they would fit, but they do take large G36 and 7.62 AK mags.

Wondering if lubing the slide would do the trick. It could be struggling if it's bone dry and when the gas pressure gets lower it cant cycle. Have you done the usual maintenence/lubing to the slide?

It's up for sale now.

Last time out, using 0.28s it was getting sufficient range that even the marshals commented on just how far I was hitting with it.
They can be a bit heavy if you're used to M4s and the like, the SOCOM is probably the best balanced, the full length one can be a bit unwieldy and the EBR is heavier than a heavy thing and completely front end biased. Worth a try if you know someone that might give you a lend for a game though.
It's why the SVU is perfect, it's a bullpup so balances very well

Hello,
I am looking for a good L85 (SA80) on buying since I am a fan of the bristish standard rifle.
My price range is £100 minimum and around £150 maximum.
I am fairly busy most the time so I apologise in advance for late reply's.
Good and £150 do not go together especially when it comes to the Airsoft L85's.
Many will tell you that there are no really good L85's as they all have quirks.
For your budget you might get lucky and get a second hand Army Armament one. Which has many many problems, a difficult takedown, proprietary parts and needs looking at out of the box.
The ICS is Ok (£340+), but suffers from very weak cutoff levers, semi issues and anaemic out of box performance.
The Ares is pretty poor, a really difficult takedown. People generally don't recommend it. (£350+)
The G&G with ETU is.. ok. (£400+) though the ETU is quite bad and needs switching out to a PERUN. The blowback feature is very weak in effect and reliability.
Either way, if you want "Good (But not good)" in an L85 you need to spend 350+ as well as additional money for some upgrades and quality of life service.

Unissued Full Swiss M83 TAZ uniform for the large/tall of us. Only worn to try for size... Then I lost a stone and a bit within a month.
Trousers are the all important 38" Waist/32" Leg size which is difficult to find.
The Field shirt is 44-46" Chest.
Also includes brand new helmet cover.
------------------------------------------------
Russian SSO/SPOSN Smersh for SVD and VSS Short mags. Also includes AK Pouches if you want to switch out.
Used twice. Has a little but of dried dirt on it, but completely solid bit of kit, with no obvious loose stitching or other issues. Olive Drab colour. Since the war and COVID started, prices have been going up and up for a new set of these. (180 euros for a new set, not including the spare pouches mine has).
What do you reckon on this?
--------------------------------------
Slightly used FMA Airframe.
I bought this open box in a shop going out of business. I used it twice and never used it again as I decided I am not a helmet guy in the slightest.
It's very solid, has some scratches from storage. Nothing wrong with it otherwise.
It's a large size and fits my 62cm noggin with room to spare.
-----------
There you have it for now! More things will be coming up for appraisal in the next few weeks. Any help with pricing would be ace!

A nice quiet sounding rifle in used condition and has been skirmished around 5 times. One of my first projects and one that has never had a problem. The AG36 is included and it's a heavy old G&P AG36 which has had some PFTE added on the thread of the shell deflector to prevent it from unscrewing. Works perfectly fine.
Includes a high cap and a box of Moscarts which were mostly working last skirmish a few weeks ago, but may require a drop of oil or maintenance to keep seal.
I wouldn't be able to post this one.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Fabarms STF12 Compact in tan.
The most popular and expensive of the "Sizes". The Smaller stocked version. FPS is less then 1J. Would include 2 Shells. Box is a bit tatty.
Used for 1 skirmish.
