Considering it's one of my smaller pistols, there is a fair amount of weight in pistol itself. I think the weight is evenly distributed between the pistol and the mag.
The lightest pistol I have sans Mag is my FN5-7. Even with the Guarder kit, it's incredibly lightweight. The mags are CHONK though, so it makes sense.

Hello all.
Apologies in advance for being brash enough to consider this "Latest News" worthy 😉
I am unsure that it was a sensible decision but beyond all logic I have been voted in as the new UKAPU South East/London Rep. I have been a member of UKAPU since around the time of the Pandemic, they helped me with issues importing a RIF and I bought into a gold tier membership soon after and I have been committee "adjacent" for a little while.
Most of you on the forum probably know me by now! I had taken a back seat in terms of the forum recently due to the personal circumstances (Divorce, selling all but 6 rifles etc!) But I am now back for at least a little while until I leave the UK in hopefully a year or so's time.
I tend to play in London and the Kent area more these days since moving away from Dagenham and to London bridge.
I am here to represent the players in the South East, to give advice about South East sites, listen to your issues, criticisms, complaints and suggestions for the future.I have only just been confirmed into the post and I haven't had the official email address setup so far, but I will update this forum post with those details when I have them. For now if you need anything you can just PM me here.
Cheers!

The system they use is actually very clever. It's actually a mechanical mosfet as it's very effective at protecting trigger contacts.
Obviously it's not really needed these days with the prevalence of smart mosfets. But still! -

Hey guys,
Just wanted to get your thoughts and opinions on AEG's that are good value for beginners and are reliable? My budget is around £150? (Although I feel that it may be too low for a good AEG sad...)
I've heard the cyma m4's or AEGs are not great, apart from their AK47 VFC clones, which all seem to be way out of my budget.
I was looking at the Specna Arms SA-F02 FLEX M4 carbine. What do you guys think?
And I think I havent accounted for the cost of a battery and charger which seems to add around another 50 squids to the whole price? (Lipo 7.4v Crane stock?).
Thanks!
Say 4-5 years ago, yes £150 would have been just about enough to get started and have a fun time. However with inflation and Brexit related supply issues I would say you need to save more money up to be at least a little competitive. I'd say £225 would be a good start for RIF, Lipo, Decent Lipo Charger and extra mags.

No idea if it's the same one but I've heard there's going to be a site opening near Hemel Hempstead soon. I would post to search faceache for South Hearts Airsoft, but there's ⅘ths of fuck all info there
It's new to me that one. One for the list.

Looking forward to my new local airsoft site opening up. Also waiting for my new googles with fans to arrive.
Oh? Is that London/Herts/Bucks way? Any info?

If you want something that works 10 months of the year and has parts availability, then anything Tokyo Marui 1911 based is the go to. Plastic slide to make up for the pathetic gas capacity is the way to go.

You've not informed the membership of the AGM, you've not given sufficient notice for the AGM, and you've certainly not given any notice to members concerning election of officers, or the opportunity to nominate members to stand as candidates prior to officer elections.
Additionally, it doesn't appear officers were elected in 2018 or 2019, which was concerning, since they're supposed to be elected annually for a 1-year post...
2020 and 2021 seem to have been pretty much the same people being uncontested and voted unanimously, which is a concern given how badly basic communication and governance seem to be going (or not going) 😕
I am pretty annoyed at the lack of communication as well. I pay my subs and I don't get even the bare minimum in comms. I missed out on the last AGM due to not even realising it was going ahead.
However to be fair, very few candidates stand for positions at all. So most do get accepted by default.
Though there was an AGM last year that I attended where we blocked someone who was quite unsuitable due to their dicey past personal relationship with the incumbent.- TacticalWaifu and Rogerborg

Simple question:
I want to number my mags, what kind of pen do I need? (presuming a chalk pen will just rub off)
Thanks.
You can get a white permanent pen marker from Amazon which should do it the treat.
Personally I would use white stickers and mark those just so it's not permanent on the mag.

Can the motors be swapped out in AKs (V3 gearbox) just by removing the grip? (I know that 10 seconds with a screwdriver would tell me, but unfortunately I'm away from my RIFs for several days, and have a hankering to put an order in for a Big Dragon m140 motor - the answer to the above will guide my decision as to get a long type and fit to one of my AR RIFs, or short type for one of the TM clone AKs)
You have to remove the grip and disassemble the motor cage. So not quite as easy as V2, but it's not difficult.

Now that would be almost funny, swaggering cuntchops turns up at his local site sporting his controversial patches, coupla visiting Ukrainians give him a "lesson" in humility🤣
I'm usually the kinda guy that intervenes when shit kicks off, but I think that would definitely be a "stand back & eat popcorn" moment lol😏
I am definitely on the side of personal choice, wear what you like taking into account your feelings and personal opinions...
But people making those choices have to personally take responsibility for their actions, own it and face any potential consequences.
Also it makes it far easier to work out who the steaming piles of excrement are if they are public about it.

Both of my Grandfathers served with the British Forces in Cyprus.
My paternal Great Grandmother was a member of the SS Frauenkorps. She was never called up to guard the Concentration camps, but they say it was a close run thing towards the end of the war. My Paternal Great Grandfather was a medic in the German Army, but was a pacifist and (quietly was said to be) against Nazi rule. They both fled to Baden Austria when they realised the Allies were going to win the war.
My Paternal Grandmother sadly takes after her Mother and is quite Fascist. Once she came to the UK she would have rolled up the rope ladder to prevent anyone else to get in. Very much a case of "F**k you, I got mine". She went on to attempt to become a Conservative Counsellor, but couldn't get elected. However was very active in Conservative party circles in the 80's and early 90's hosting various parties and dignitaries.

Welcome and good on you for giving it a try.
Unfortunately Invicta's woodland site is situated on a hill, so it may not be the most suitable ground for you. Quite a-lot of undulations there, take it easy and slow and hopefully you'll get through the day.
I wrote a review on the site a few years back that you may find useful for some more information. It's fairly detailed.

Lonex has always been a good shout if you want a solid rifle without the modern electronic stuff. Just a very solid Nylon fibre bodied rifle. Lonex compression parts and gearboxes are great even at the lower end models.

No idea on value, but you should fill the new ones up with gas to confirm they actually hold gas, as it will affect value.

Yeah as I suspected, cheers.
It was worth it when the prices were £200, not £300. Go G&P/VFC

I had the M16A3/M203 E&C one. I felt the externals were... Okay. But nothing special. Metal was fairly lightweight and the finish was easily scratched.
I think G&P did them better if you wanted decent externals.

Hi all i have just bought a we m9a1 and the trigger is crap long with no feel to it is there anything i can do to make it better?. Also the mag is crap on gas do any other brands fit it
Is it your first double action trigger pistol? They all tend to feel like having a long trigger.
The WE is pretty bad on gas efficiency, I doubt a different mag would make much difference. Make sure you clean and lube the slide as best you can.

Looks like you’ve found a niche micro business importing themI’ll take a 36” R please 😁
Considering the miniscule size of packed down Windrunners I had no problem this time. But my Warsaw/Tel Aviv/Madrid trip is 12 days being done with just carry on luggage. Real struggle to get my new trousers and UBACS in as it is.
I basically bought all their DNC stuff in the shop bar the really expensive climate jacket.
