Played with a guy who had one. He said tracers you "only" get about 3 of the colours, if you use white BB's then you get "all" of the colours. I dunno. I just use a normal tracer.

Another early one, this week we do a quick how to on fitting and shimming a magwell.

VFC as that's what P* design around.

I used to order loads from JD, they used to do a UPS collection service which was super cheap. Since then they seem to have upped the delivery so they have receoved less of my money in favour of smaller and local shops.

I use the AIP ones. Can get them from Rainbow for less than £20 delivered. Super handy.

Honest opinion.... stupidity on both of you's side. Why has your common sense not kicked in that buying from abroad, especially privately wouldn't be an absolute nightmare? Paperwork as it's an imitation firearm for a start and then probably that YOU have a valid defence for receiving it. He does seem to have messed you about a bit and has gone quite scatty with it but just claim the money back and learn from this.

Back to basics this week....

I purposely don't look as I am exactly the same. If I don't know then I can't obsess.

DMR's require a budget similar to a BASR. There isn't much shortcut or "easy buy" for this kind of weapon unless you simply have a "hot" M4. Good on you for not going down the M4 with a phat spring path though. Good contenders would be like an AK SR25 or Cyma CM98 however both will still need about the same again if not more going in to them to make them tolerate the additional power AND be accurate at range. My personal DMR is a foooking long M4 with a Kythera HPA system so it's easy to get the big FPS if needed but even then I've swapped out all the hop and barrel set up as well to get the accuracy I need. If you are "only" aiming for 400 fps, honestly I wouldn't bother, just make a "normal" AEG up to about 340fps and then concentrate on consistency, hop up and inner barrel as the difference really won't be that much, I was running my battle rifle this weekend with 0.3's and I was ranging the DMR guy (who was at 400) and I had full auto capability.

UKFOB and Ammodrop are due a big Novi order imminently although they are having some issues getting it through customs I hear. They won't sell anything too powerful either however you will struggle as Novi rifles don't come in 2 tone which you would nee dot buy as you won't have a UKARA to buy a realistic coloured rifle.

Starting to gear up for some sneaky sessions. I will be getting out and doing an "in the wild" comparison and how good it is at hiding video soon as well.

Being as this thread is nearly dead. I just bought a 420mm 6.05 PDI for mine, going back to a 16" outer from gspec and the 370mm inner will go into my DMR. Fancied a mix up.
