Nobody mentioned a tracer? TM's aren't generally cut for tracers on the pistols, the plastic outer barrels though can be bastardized with an 11>14mm adapter however as the standard outer is plastic, you can pick up an SLS 3D printed outer barrel for around £20 to completely swap out with standard and it would come fully cut for 11mm internal thread. Not a lot really.

Location would help but in hi capa land you have a couple options: 5.1 Government - Predominantly black with a few silver highlights Stainless - 2 tone silver and black (warning, silver finish on the frame peels) Gold Match - Predominantly black with gold highlights, has serated slide, better front sight, weird floting inner barrel system that everybody removes and angled cut frame. It's a great base if you want to go down the gold bits route. 4.3 Black - Self explanatory Custom Dual - 2 tone silver and black (warning, silver finish on the frame peels) Xtreme - It's a customer dual with a black frame and the internals are modified so it only shoots full auto 4.3 vs 5.1? Only notable performance difference is the 5.1 gets slightly more FPS due to a longer inner barrel, easily solved if you get a 4.3 and move to a threaded barrel, run a tracer adapter and you can stick a 5.1 length barrel through it. Parts availability is about the same now, there has been a surge recently in 4.3 parts so they're about level as 4.3 used to be harder to source parts for.

Taking the DMR out this weekend, rebuilt and ready to flick 0.4's. If DMR get's a bit boring I've figured out 80psi will sit me just about right for battle rifle limit so I can get a bit closer and more rapid(er) firing (for the semi only build I have).

ARP9 and buy the polymer 556 lower. Stuck a kythera and stock delete on mine and it's savage. Also winds the fuck up out of all the ARP556 owners when I call it an ARP9.

Indoors I use a tracer so no sight needed. Outdoors, you can eye it in to a degree, a red dot can help with rough location of target. It's airsoft though, engagement distances are rarely where you need that kind of precision.

FWIW I've bought a few things from The Cage and has always been top notch, not gauging on price, items packed well and delivered quickly.

I have given up buying anything other than CowCow T1 front sights now. They are by design a slightly loose fit but have 2 grub screws you can crank down once it's in place (with threadlick on grubs of course) and this problem is removed. The CowCow sight also has a brushed "top" which aids reflecting light back into the fibre.

The trigger is indeed a Sniper1 trigger which was part of a set from ASPUK. I know as I too bought one lol. They sold the set as a base upgrade kit for £300 for VSR's. Included a crappy barrel, ok hop arm, rebranded ASP trigger, rebranded ASP piston and to be honest an ok cylinder. I would say, unfortuantely a "good" VSR which is really well upgraded including TDC etc etc would struggle to reach £450-£500 so for a mid level (ish) upgraded one which already has issues I think you'd struggle to exceed £250, that's a harsh come down from the pricing you have but my VSR which I went through this mill with and then went on and upgraded more on the other side of this, even that struggled ot hit £350 as you're into SSG10 money and they're new with a reasonable spec.

The M4 (V2) is a kind of standard. The issue you have is the manufacturing, all manufacturers use a different tolerance so often you get a part that isn't quite right or it's super tight, it's the result of manufacturer A being a bit sloppy and B being a bit too tight. Perfect example, TM Hi Capas, the aftermarket CNC alu slides are often more precise than the TM frames they're designed to fit to so you end up hand racking them for hours to get the perfect fit. That's airsoft and the V2 platform has such a wide plethora of parts you will always find somethign that doesn't fit and usually 15 that do. I'm sure theres a joke about workmanship in there which would be very borderline.... Obviously not if YOU built it though 😁
