  1. Slight update to my channel home page @GAMBLE & @leadly
  2. This week sees my first trip up to Halo Mill for some Kill confirmed action
  3. Needs a few hopes and dreams at that price as well 😂😂😂
  4. General kit - try your local army surplus store. Something like a cobra hood, really there are 3 options, KMCS (expensive), Novritsch (cheaper) or make your own from a viper hood. You won't buy the perfect ghillie, even the good ones like the KMCS come pre-requisited you will need to craft them and apply some veg yourself. That's just part of fitting in to your surroundings.
  5. I know I don't have a scopecam or zoomcam yet but here's my first visit to Division22
  6. Bit late posting this one up but last weeks clearance video.
  7. By the time you're done messing with the Firehawk with upgrade parts you'll have spent half the value of a newer ARPx. My advice would be to go for whichever ARPx you fancy (556 makes sense if you already have the mags) and then quietly slide in a Perun ETU++ in place of the stock mosfet, then you get pre cocking, more space as it's smaller and a host of options that will take your ARP to the level above boy wonders.
  8. The AAs aren't amazing. A mate shitnthe compensator off his 501 across the cqb arena as it's held on by a crap o ring. Everyone's go to response is TM plastic slides will crack, we're in the UK, drop a 120 recoil spring on a capa and you'll be fine. The TM really is that good.
  9. A drop back in to Hells Airsoft - This one accompanied by @leadly and his amazing Battle Cat build!
  10. Would the answer not just simply be for sites to insist that chrono is done on 0.4s? Catch the creepers and get a reasonably good FPS/joule reading?
  11. @Rogerborg I play at 2 sites (same operator) who don't do a pre game chrono. He trusts his players to be aware of their weapons. There are always random in game tests but I'm yet to see anyone over and get tugged out mid game.
  12. I fixed this for a guy at hells a few months ago, was the follower in the mag not pushing up far enough.
  13. @leadly Didn't realised it had declined so much. I'm planning on a visit Wednesday myself as well so I guess I'll end up amending what I've said if it's that bad.
  14. Not the video I'd planned for this week but hopefully you enjoy anyway.
  15. It's quickly become my local. Flanking - Stalemates? F knows who wrote that, genuinely must just not be able to move their feet, they are constantly evolving the site, small change every week and it changes the dynamic every time, if it doesn't work, you feed it back and they change it up. Loads of capability to flank and stalemate isn't a thing unless you are 2 teams of campers, it allows a lot of movement if you want to take it. Excessive dust? Honestly someone must have been on their period. Can't say I've ever noticed dust being an issue. Here's my initial review following a 13 hour game session: https://recon101.uk/sites/hells-airsoft-18-05-2021/ Since then I have been multiple times and every time it gets better.
  16. In the UK we are quite hindered by a relatively low sniper limit. The general 2.32J marker is good for about up to 80 real metres, much past that is going to be luck and inconsistence. When you get into Europe and they start running 3 and 4 J limits, thst's when your 100+ ranges start coming out. An M170 spring is seriously big though and you "should" be hitting over 600fps with a 0.2g bb. You have either a very poorly fitting piston or a humongous are leak.
  17. Airsoftworld are generally cheap and readily available. They were certainly best when I bought mine.

@leadly I'm in 2 minds for Nov. Either going back or taking the printed build for a day at Halo Mill.

  18. Following last weeks amazing pistol build.....another pistol build! This one's super snappy
  19. If you want better performance at lower temps, look at the G17 Gen4 as it features a revised piston and cylinder design to allow for more gas so better performance in colder weather. Also the plastic slides on a TM allow them to cycle a bit better. Additional weight on a slide will always kill cycle speed and in cold weather you'll be lucky to get it moving. You can always try to mitigate this with a lightweight BBU but I would just run without the RMR, at close range your aim couldn't be that bad surely?
  20. Quite often when playing at certain venues you can the whiff of something that little bit extra menthol burning. My issue with it is that there are younger kids who play airsoft, they don't need exposing to it as well. If you're going to go and do drugs, do them out of sight and mind of everyone else. Don't affect me and I won't affect you. If you're spaced out your head and you break an ankle in the woods, don't expect sympathy.
