Hi @SammieSurrey! I know I'm late to the thread, but wanted to say hello as your story mirrors mine quite a bit I'm also a Surrey native (Guildford 4 life!) - but now Berkshire based. I used to go to Ambush Chobham loads in the early 2000s when it was still run by Charlie 'Guvnor'. Used to love that place and all it's boggy muddiness! I think the on-site shop at the time was Airsoft Dynamics.. sky high prices if I remember correctly! The golden years of being able to order non two-tone guns from DenTrinity and Redwolf. Simpler times. Then I also took a break for around.. 10-11 years? Life sort of happened, met the missus had kids etc. Came back to discover the VCRA/UKARA had happened, which was pants, but still got stuck into the game. Became a regular at The Mall, Elite Action Games Dorking (also now sadly gone) and Gunman in Eversley and haven't looked back If you can stomach the drive up the Hogs Back / M3 or M4/M25 I seriously recommend my two new haunts after Covid has done a runner. Could be worth considering the GATE Aster as an alternative to the Titan? It's still an optical mosfet like the titan, just stripped down in funcitonality. It can be programmed to different sensitivities and firing modes, but on it's default setting it's quite nice and smooth. My Specna H20 has one in, and while there were initially teething problems with them, the units leaving now are are great by all accounts.

The CM.041 MP5s are all metal (apart from the plastic bits obviously). Reputedly very well made and solid. Been after one for a while now, but all UK shops are pretty much out of stock now because of brexit... Yaaaay.

I absolutely adore the 01P. Truly is the nicest looking airsoft Beretta. The only thing stopping me getting one is no lanyard loop. Because I'd want to skirmish it, but always lasso my sidearms 😁

Some of you may have seen that Zed Adventures have had to cancel all upcoming events for the time being. Even though they are following Health and Safety Guidelines to the letter, because they can't guarantee that people aren't bumping into/brushing past each other in the game area, or aren't mixing outside of their immediate group has seen them closed while they work out a fix. It's a shame and hopefully they get some help from the government and/or Kennet shopping centre to allow them to come out the other side of all this.

I've decided I've got too many guns, and too much debt. So this one is being put on the pile to go at some point. And also because it's a misbehaving fucking twunt. It's my Specna Arms H20. Which is the CQB length 416 (Edge 2.0 variety). Which means it has a Gate Aster installed as standard, hi-torque motor and coated recievers and rails. Original box etc. I've changed the stock for a CTR style thing. A stick battery fits in the buffer tube no problems. I've also colour filled the Specna trades on the receiver. Flash hider replaced by a fat stumpy silencer. Now.. this gun has some issues. It's only been used in one game scenario at Red Alert Newbury, because quite frankly it misbehaves too much for me to give it any real use. The outer Barrel has an upward/downward movement. Not really noticeable until you grab the barrel and thonk it up and down. The rail has a slight up/down wobble, but has no more adjustment on the Hex bolt to tighten it. The dust cover got bent beyond fixing the first time I took the upper receiver off. The One series (E&C) dust covers do not fit and you can't buy Edge Series spares yet. So it's missing. The little nub on the ejection port that keeps it closed has snapped not once, but twice. So it doesn't close. Even if it did close you wouldn't want it to because the charging handle doesn't open it! The Gate aster has had its firmware updated and it's been calibrated but will sometimes only fire, say, 4 out of 5 times of pulling the trigger. The trigger guard rattles. Having said all that, it is usable and could be used as is if you can forgive the odd knock from the front end. The gearbox sounds good and gives a nice quiet "Zip" when Firing. And it has a ZCI Rotary hop and Maple Leaf 50° rubber. They sell for about £200 new - thinking £130? Should be a good gun once it's had its issues ironed out. I just can't be arsed lol.

Is that because you won one earlier on airsoft competitions? 😅 I had a go one my friends one a little while back. Love the feel of it and firing it was great fun. It actually has a nicely weighted trigger pull and didn't feel like an on/off switch. Recoil is nice and a touch more solid a kick than the TM Recoils. Not quite as good as a GBBR or Tippmann. Great, but I wouldn't buy one unless they were half the price. And that would only be lottery win purchase territory.

Probably not! (I'd have bought it if it were XL!) Unfortunately, a lot of people are put off by the Viper brand name - their old stuff was admittedly quite bad. But they're great nowadays. Their old reputation ruins their current sales. I've got THREE of their new VX Buckle up plater carriers now!

Semi only, yeah. It's a pistol paradise, I play with a TM USP with four mags and get on brilliantly. .32g is the maximum allowed. And no bangs at the moment.
