I heard Viper Tactical equipment is much better than it used to be.. So I decided to find out. Had my eye on their old VX buckle up Carrier before it got discontinued. Really like the Gen 2 on first impressions. I've added the panel from the chest rig to the carrier instead. Looking forward to trying on the trousers when I get home and comparing them to Emersons. Certainly feel good.

A 4" Noveske rail from @ak2m4. I'm going to butcher my Specna E12. Fit this with a vertical foregrip and lose the buffer tube entirely (battery box on top). Boom.. Sniper MED backup gun!

Yeah there are some retailers taking the piss with that gun. It's sub-£100 mostly. Taiwangun is around £77 last I checked. Bespoke & Patrolbase is £89. 308 Sniper is £110. A2 in Reading has it up at £120. I've been told that the wholesale price from UK distributor iWholesales is £85 So some are making next to nothing (for some reason?) and some are making a decent 40% mark up on cost.

To be fair with the sheer amount of stuff you get with that gun, I'd probably be happy to buy it for £350. I'd spend an afternoon with some rubbing alcohol and a tooth brush, and take it back to black. Sell it again for £350 with just gun, mags and battery. Then sell the Red Dot, PEQ, Fore-grip, 2 Stocks, Torch and Grenade launcher separately. You'd probably come away £100-£120 up.

Got my FAT silencer recently. Now with that fitted and the AFG cobbled underneath, I quite like how this looks. Would like a fatter scope perhaps... Just need to actually use it before spending anymore money on it. Haven't fired a single BB through it since I got it!

I removed the advert after it was clear it was completely nonsensical and was circling the drain. Maybe if he'd put his hand up and said: "You know what? I've got my Glock Generations mixed up - my bad" That would be fine. We could have worked with it. I sometimes get Gen 3 & 4 mixed up myself (like last night when I asked @rocketdogbert what the difference was with the new Glock, and one of the first points was that this is actually a Gen 4...) But yes, it's quite clear that this is all now some fantasy knocked up in his head like a good old fashioned "my dad could beat up your dad" playground boast.

On tonight's episode of: "Airsoft D.I.WHY?!" I was well bored and curious today, so decided there was enough real-estate on the reciever of my Sniper rifle to fit a rail segment between the real mag, and the dummy mag. (Actually pushed the Plastic in there... ? ) Went well, need to file off the keymod "bumps" on the underside of the rail so it fits flush to the body. The angled grips makes it much comfort to operate now too. If I stick with the Angled Foregrip on there, I'll have to file off a few mm on the backend so the dummy mag can fit back in - but this isn't essential. This isn't an issue with a vertical grip obviously, but it feels uncomfortable compared to the AFG.

Specna Arms H20. Settled on the aesthetics now. It's... Taken some "breaking in" shall we say. A few teething problems out of the box, but it's all sorted now, thanks to a Gate USB link and an armorers wrench ? I've decided I fucking hate the CTR Stock though. Looks lovely, but getting it off and on and needing Allen keys to get to the battery. Get off. EPS supremacy! ... anyone want to buy a cheap CTR?

The Edge Specna BBs are BLS. They're actually fantastic. Word of caution. Avoid the Core BBs like the plague.
