Recently got my hands on the northeast sten. First RIF I bought 7 years ago was an AGM Sten aeg.
This is a major improvement.

I've bought it, because, well, I have wanted one for ages. But I find myself without a practical pistol so i'm open to trades

Also found my old air rifle so I took the scope off and placed* it on my Avalon... FRV 1-point sling is just about in that picture too
 
*Isn't for mounting to picatinny so it's just balanced in the right position to see what it looks like😂 (pretty cool imo)

I got some gas today and after filling it I can hear it hissing out the fill valve. it's slow and quiet but if I stick my ear near I can hear it clearly - rather than returning for a replacement and such would just getting a replacement valve work? I did a quick search on patrolbase and saw that they aren't exactly standardized; https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/baal-gas-filling-valve-for-we-kj-gbb-series / https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/asg-kwa-magazine-bottom-fill-valve - I'll screw the valve out later and wrap the thread in plumbing tape and then try it, also will take a pic of what it looks like - but don't suppose anyone has an answer to this offhand?
 
Thanks. By the way what's the point in the space for 2 extra shells in the cylinder below the barrel? to get them out you have to unscrew this cap on the end which takes about 30 seconds, and it seems to be literally just for storing 2 shells because it doesn't load a new one in or anything. Anyone know how to switch from 3 shot to 6 or back etc? I saw how in a youtube vid a while ago but I can't find the one that shows how again.

Edit: Valve pics. I wrapped the thread in plumbing tape and put it back in tight, filled it up, can still hear a hissing coming from the valve although not as bad as before. based on what the valve looks like can anyone point me to where I can find a suitable replacement? it looks pretty standard to me and as long as it fits into the stock on the gun I don't see much of a problem with regards to compatability(?).

Was playing back MW3 recently and, during the first mission, the M4 you use has this oversized charging handle latch. I thought it looked pretty cool so I went out and bought one! 
 

 

New face pro, looking forward to testing it out next week. Breathable snood with adjustable toggle on back and metal mesh mouth protection. Seems comfortable. 

Almost finished my harness / belt, just waiting on a double grenade pouch and I'm set.

Mostly Templars Gear stuff, 4x pistolmag pouches, 3x rifle, dump bag, knife, misc / binoculars bag, carabiner, medum hydration pack with 1l bladder, 2x large 'grenade' pouches for the M41A PR mags. BoaFeng radio mounted on the back of the hydration pouch. I've got a plate carrier I bought on the way a while back but I can't see how I'd need it - plus in this hot weather, y'know.

One of my more expensive investments, taking my love of Tags that step further & went for the Tag Innovations ML36 launcher with standalone chasis. Does away with the need of launching shells / filling station etc. meaning less to carry in the field

Just had a picture back from FMJ with the cerakote work I hired them to do on an LM4 I started customising years ago.  It'll frankly be a relief to finally finish this build off.
 

Waiting on some more Geoff’s bb’s and a one Tigris multicam folding mesh mask to turn up. 
But today I got a warrior drop down utility pouch to compliment my pathfinder/cpc rig, sight protector and a spike short dot sight that I hope will give my ics cxp ape a better look (hate the sight that’s on it). Before and after pics will go in the gun picture thread. 

Been rolling Op4 for a few years now, so thought it prudent to finally roll out with an Op4 primary!

Been mulling over a TM Type3 AK for some time, was never 100% on the standard wood (look) stock. Recent trip to my local Marui supplier I spotted the AKS - Like the idea of the sliding stock, makes this feel a bit more compact & bare bones set up.
 
Looking forward to putting this through its paces in the coming weeks
