  3. Evening all, this isn't reddit, WhatsApp or Facebook, its the common sense no bs alternative to those platforms, so we try to encourage informative positive posts, which admittedly get hideously derailed lol. But this kinda hair pulling bitchy drama, nah, fuck that, life's too short. FEEL MY ADMIN POWER BITCHES😜

  10. I see the name Hicks and I'm going to assume it's the same Hicks that threw a massive tantrum over me and my friend at the AI500 in Wales because we were tall; being 6'5" allowed us to shoot over a fence without blind firing (marshall standing next to us to make sure) and we spent an entire day abusing it to wipe him and his team out through the whole day because they couldn't figure out how to hit head-sized targets, or at least how to suppress targets. He threw tantrums in game, then also on Discord and Facebook afterwards and admittedly it was very amusing to watch. At the same time, why are you engaging with him? Why are you continuing to stir the pot and complain about how the bad men bullied you on loads of other corners of the internet? I'd get it more if you saw some shady behaviour (and by that I don't mean double standards, I mean scammers) and reported it as a PSA, but this comes across as crying and trying to stir drama. You're as bad as each other at this point.

  12. Won't be getting run like this as you can't get the handguard off to access the battery when the muzzle-break the QD suppressor sits on is threaded but I thought it looked pretty neat. As much as I love the G36E with the bipod I think the G36K lengh is the goldilocks of the bunch - just right.

A pal gave me his handguard to build an upper for him so decided to build a clone of the kyle lamb rifle to try for a trade for a gun he has I want lol.. yea not working so will be getting pulled apart. G&p a2 lower ,g&p upper , g&p outer and steel kac fh , g&p lipo tube / car15 stock. Is meant to have a g&p storm grip but didn't fit it. Systema gearbox with shs high torque motor , still needed bits doing to fully finish but don't think it looks to bad.

  19. Played Apocalypse Sunday Skirmish. Had a really good time. New site for me, free game courtesy of the Modern Warrior airsoft shop which they offer if you spend £150, nice. Site was very nice and well maintained, not overgrown like a lot of woodland sites, lots of structures/barricades to clear or hide out in. Lots of open 'no mans land' spaces to negotiate in the mix. It was busy but its a big site so there was space to move without getting shot at and with the layout there were good opportunities to flank the enemy positions or try to come in from another direction. Only real challenge is the walk up the steep hill from the car park, had to do this twice to get all my kit on site. I will pack better next time. Was a misty cold start, then a bit of rain before it turned into a sweat box 2/3 seasons in one game day, double nice!! Games were great fun, nice mix of attack and defend for all sides in every game compared to the usual playing each scenario twice. 1st game was rescue the injured pilot, we attacked the other team to rescue the pilot then had to take him/her back to a location and defend until extraction. Lots of different play going on with sniping/DMR keeping us in cover for a couple of players with pistols / AEG's to sneak or run at us. We only just held out with the other team making a big push in the last 5 minutes. 2nd game was pure domination, 3 locations, hold 2 out of 3 at the end to win. We held 1 until the last 2/3 mins when a group of about 10 of us at respawn decided to have a suicidal rush at one of the locations. We took it right before the end of the game and were lucky the game ended when it did as the reds were using the same tactic in the last few seconds to take it back. 3rd game was capture the flag. We were split into 3 teams and had to capture the flag and return it to our base while the other 2 teams tried to do the same. Was a great game and not one I've played before. We had a fast paced teenager who ran in, grabbed the flag and took it back to our base very quickly while the rest of us provided covering fire. It was then a game of keeping the flag for 45 mins, as expected very intense towards the end. I ran out of BB's and the battery was running low in the MP5 so had to drop to my trusty Sig in the last couple of minutes, should use semi more, it's not a LMG!! Gun choice was the Cyma Platinum MP5 and WE Sig 226, great combo and they shot really well. Also took my newly acquired (used) TM AK47 EBB for bad guy duties, it chrono'd well but died after a couple of mags, just stopped working and doesn't make the Gate boot up noise so suspect something electronic, maybe a fuse if it has one, has fried and needs investigation. Players were 99% friendly, a couple of lads got a bit salty with the Marshalls at one point. Hit taking was very good and incoming fire stopped as soon as you put your hand up which is a nice surprise from the last couple of sites I've played where overkill is the name of the game. On site shop was good, well stocked and very busy. Didn't have anything from the burger van but given most of the players did I can only consider it as good. Will be going again!!

  21. Building the Ultimate Lightweight HPA LMG: My S&T M249 MK2 SAW Project Going through my airsoft collection, I realized I was missing one key piece — an LMG. Naturally, I thought: why not? I didn’t expect it to become one of the most frustrating builds of my airsoft life. From the start, I knew I was going to HPA it, especially since I had a Backdraft Phoenix engine lying around — a solid engine, though a bit inconsistent in DMR roles. Why I Picked the S&T M249 MK2 SAW Let’s be real — the S&T M249 is just a rebranded A&K Featherweight (also sold under Cybergun), but with a few advantages: V2 gearbox (sounds great at first… more on that later) Lightweight — only 4kg, compared to 5.5–6kg for most other M249s Cheap — cost me just £200 At first, the V2 gearbox and light weight seemed like a win. But that big proprietary nozzle and body flex quickly turned into a massive headache. Out-of-the-Box Performance Running a 7.4V battery, it gave me: 12 RPS 1.1J 30m accuracy with a torso-sized spread Not bad for £200. Decent compression, a metal rack piston, basic MOSFET locked to full auto. It worked — but it wasn’t good. Goals for the Build Fix the weak plastic stock Tighten up the shot spread Increase rate of fire Get consistent mag feeding The Build Process Body Flex & Rail Replacement Because the gun is so light, body flex was a huge issue — even minor misalignment can cause major problems with HPA. I replaced the plastic top and bottom rails with metal ones and added bracing plates. This significantly stiffened the gun and improved alignment. Engine & Electronics Installed the Backdraft Phoenix HPA engine and wired it to a Gate Aster II for better control. Problems started immediately: Sporadic shots Inconsistent feeding Laser shot followed by a 2-meter fart Hop-Up & Feed Ramp Hell The stock hop-up is garbage — cheap, flimsy plastic with lots of flex. Swapped to: Bullgear Featherweight M249 Hop-Up — improved consistency, but feeding issues remained Tried: Drilling stock feed ramp — BBs jammed Anttech feed ramp — flimsy 3-part design, reintroduced flex and made things worse Final Solution: Found a 3D model of the original feed ramp by Gazadonf77 Printed in PA12 nylon (MJF) via 3D People Game changer — fixed all feeding issues Bucking & Barrel Testing Bucking Results: Prometheus Purple: Good but had flyers every 5 shots Quantum: Best range (50–60m), but overhopped everything and grouping was meh Maple Leaf 60°: Winner — torso-size grouping at 50–60m with 0.30g BBs, great price-to-performance Tip: With Bullgear hop-up, use high elasticity buckings. Stiffer ones perform worse. Barrel Results: XT 6.00mm: Tight bore, low PSI, bad consistency ZCI 6.02mm: Better, but still not quite there Stalker Morpheus 6.03mm: Extended crown = more range (70m), but groupings were wild PDI 6.05mm: Winner — 55–65m range, best consistency, 2–3 inch spread. Uses more air but totally worth it. Magazines: A Comedy of Errors The stock S&T mag (9V battery) fed only 12 RPS — upgraded to 7.4V LiPo, gained speed, then shredded the gears (poor plastic internals). Tried: Lonex 200rd & EPM1: Fed great, but too low capacity for an LMG Classic Army M249 mag: Worst of all — inconsistent, weak, loud motor Novritsch M249 mag: Winner — actually a rebranded A&K 2000rd box mag, fed up to 30 RPS on both 7.4V and 9V. Responsive mic, auto shutoff, and only £75. Stock Upgrade The original SAW stock is huge and ideal for batteries, but looks awkward and feels cheap. Didn’t want to pay £50 for a CNC adapter, so: Found an STL file by CitrusPers - Stock adapter Got it printed by 3D People Now using M4 buffer tube + compact stock = lighter and more ergonomic Final Build & Cost Breakdown Part Price S&T M249 MK2 £200 PDI 6.05mm Barrel £60 Backdraft Phoenix HPA Engine £250 (already owned) Gate Aster 2 £65 (already owned) A&K 2000rd Box Mag £75 Bullgear Hop-Up Unit £60 Custom Feed Ramp & Stock Adapter (PA12) £50 Total: ~£760 Final Verdict What I have now is a lightweight LMG, feeding 0.30g–0.32g BBs reliably, with: 55–65m effective range Consistent grouping (~2–3 inch spread) 30 RPS at 1.1J 3,500–4,000 rounds per 48ci tank @ 70 PSI Great for suppressive fire, fun skirmishing, and surprising people who think it can’t reach them. Would I do it again? Probably not. Am I happy with it? Hell yes. Little video of the bad boy shooting

They’re in fair condition with some scratches from use, foam padding is in really good nick and the stitching is solid. Velcro is equally good. 30. As has been said, WhatsApp is shit for classifieds, tried it myself there as a buyer, just getting a reply was hard work, definitely not how sales should be. As for the admin, yeah sounds like a heavy handed dick, "do as I say, not as I do" definitely isn't the way to moderate, but at the same times I have no qualms getting the hammer out if someone gets nasty or abusive just because they're being asked to follow the rules. Common sense & balance is what's called for usually 🤔

A friend bought one up to show off, it was a recent purchase. He said that it might have been a pre production sample that was partially modernised for testing and then deactivated once it served its purpose, but that's third hand info at this point that I haven't been able to verify. They are very rare and he wouldn't give me an exact number on how much it cost, but it was well north of 5k The SUSAT is also genuine of course and in very very good condition

  35. Just got a set of G&P externals, probably going to cannibalise another G&P to build it out into an SPR style rifle. Not a huge fan of the texturing on the stock and grip but you get used to it. The lower markings are very 2010s cringe. What I was really after was the URX 3.1 handguard but it also came with the iconic KAC golf ball effect dimpled barrel which is a vibe. And a 3d printed suppressor which looks fine from a few steps back and is actually lighter than the metal flash hider

  36. Despite being very tired this morning after a few days away that involved a lot of walking in Dorset, I set off bright and early (well, at 07:00) for Airsoft Plantation. After meeting up with the usual suspects, I took the LCT PP-19-01 out to test it properly with my new improved mags. For those who do not know, the midcaps for this gun have huge feeding issues and, as everything that I had tried to improve them had failed, I was on the point of selling it when I decided to have one last try at sorting it out. I ordered a couple of the Arcturus mags; unsurprisingly, they were completely the wrong shape for the LCT magwell. However, after a bit of minor surgery to the internals and to a a couple of the LCT magazine shells, they fed perfectly. Another seven were purchased and converted, all of which fed perfectly; success!. The first game involved us, as the Red team, having to attack the village from the border and set off pyros in three named structures in sequence. We had infinite regens on a marshal, while the defenders had two lives. I started off on the left flank of our attack; the defenders put up a very strong resistance, which held us up for ages. Having been hit, I moved over to our right flank, where we began to make progress as we wore the defenders down. Pushing along the flank, we cleared the area around the Land Rovers and the fuel dump as our colleagues did the same down the other side and through the centre. All three pyros were delivered to their targets, after which we went back to the safe zone to take on fluids and reload. With everyone refreshed, the game was reversed. I took up a position on our right, covering the routes that I had tried to use at the beginning of the previous game. In a target rich environment, I got lots of kills; inevitably, I was eventually hit and fell back to the comms shack where a group of us put up a stiff fight until we were overrun. The game ended with the Blue team achieving the objective four minutes more rapidly than we had managed. After taking on more fluids, we set off for a slightly different game. Eight of us were each given a very large bank note (about 30cm x 15cm); setting up in the mortar pits, where we had one life each, we had to prevent the attackers from obtaining the bank notes for as long as possible. Once they had them all, they had to deliver them to the plane at the DEA base; the catch was that, in order to travel from the far end of the of the site to the mortar pits and then to travel from there to the DEA base, they had to take the double decker bus. As many players as there were seats had to travel on it, singing "The wheels on the bus", while everyone who could not fit on walked behind it. Nobody could fire and the walking attackers could not spread out until the bus had stopped. We had one life at each of the mortar pits and the DEA base, while the attackers had infinite regens on the bus. Crawling under the Bedford, I attempted to hide myself in the rather limited area between the bottom of the wooden deck and the cross members below it; if I had been somewhat smaller, this might have been more successful! However, it worked reasonably well, as it took the attackers a while to find me and, when they did, I shot a fair few of them. Having been well and truly peppered with BBs, I eventually managed to extricate myself from my hiding place and handed over my bank note. Joining my colleagues and taking up a position in the bushes at the DEA base, we awaited the arrival of the big grey bus. Once it stopped on the edge of the DEA base, it was greeted with a hail of fire, but the enemy who had followed the bus on foot engaged us and, eventually, they managed to get the money to the plane. It was now lunch time and, as I was enjoying using the PP-19-01 so much with mags that actually fed, I decided to use it in the afternoon; therefore, I put the battery on charge. AP has a few basic chargers for players to use. As it was the second Sunday of the month, the regular raffle was drawn; the proceeds from this are used to pay the waste disposal costs for the site rather than putting the price up. As usual, I did not win. After lunch, we went back to the village; we were attacking from the fire break with infinite regens on our start point and our aim was to get as many players as possible into the town hall by the end of the game. The defenders had two lives each. As we could attack from anywhere along the firebreak, I joined a group who were pursuing my favourite approach of sweeping around the far end of the village and attacking it from the rear. We got held up by a fierce resistance in the woods, but fought our way to the sniper tower and the blue barrels, where we were again pinned down. Pushing out slightly, I moved into the suburbs, where I was promptly shot by my own side who assumed that I was a defender. Some of our team were getting into the town hall and, just before the game ended, more of us made a run for it. A few were hit along the way but the rest of us piled in, with me being the 31st and last. When the game was reversed, I occupied the first floor of a structure on the main road across the front of the village, from where I could pick off attackers over a 90 degree arc and also call out enemy movements to my colleagues. They pushed hard and we held them back, but it was apparent that the bulk of them were advancing through the suburbs, so some of our group moved to help resist them there; when the game ended they had managed to get 30 players in the town hall, so I am claiming that as a personal win :). The plan for the final game was to reverse the bus one. We set off from the far end of the site, with the players on the bus singing the annoying song; having sung it so many times to my boys when they were little, there was no way I was going to sing it again, so I walked behind the bus. As soon as the bus halted, a cease fire was called as a pyro had caused a fire; this was put out and the game resumed, only to be halted again almost immediately as one of our team had managed to injure himself. While he was attended to, the rest of us moved to the village for a game of capture the cow. We started by the safari car, while the blue team started at the border; the cow was positioned by the well in the village. When the game started, a group of us moved towards the direction the enemy were coming from in an attempt to prevent them getting into the village or at least delay them until our colleagues could grab the cow and get it back to the safari car. This plan worked well apart from the bits about us stopping or delaying the enemy and our colleagues grabbing the cow. After a good, hard fight, the enemy managed to grab Ermintrude and get her back to their start point. As usual, it was an excellent, if very hot and sweaty, day of challenging airsoft played in a really good spirit, which seemed to be enjoyed by everyone, with the possible exception of the chap who injured himself at the end. Hopefully, it isn't too bad and he will soon be back out on the field. Weapons used: LCT PP-19-01 ASG XP18 Commander (CO2) Weapon not used: APS UAR

As a buyer I always offer to cover the fee's if I make a lower offer, 9 times out of 10 it works, have never had anyone offer it in return but then I had someone send me the money for a pistol I sold recently via F&F which took my by surprise I must admit, I put it on a quicker postal service in return so we both benefitted from it. Fee's do get expensive above £200 so I can understand why sellers try to put it on the buyer but like you say, 10 seconds on Google gives you the fee total and can adjust price accordingly.
