Just reported the page & asked that it be taken down, as it doesn't follow the ethos of gofundme, & he is not representative of the average airsofter, & the subject is being discussed here, with the general consensus being that we're appalled by his attempts to beg for funding for his hobby.?7 points

Most Tm threads: "I wish TM does this thing" TM does thing "No, not like that..." I think the 320 will be the new blueprint for TM guns, judging by how the trigger box is 1:1 scale (potentially allowing RS frames) and the new BBU design. This might mean the optic mount might need a rework from 3rd party designers which will be all over this.2 points

The flip side of this... Several times I have had a teammate on a barricade or something in a much better position to throw a smoke grenade than me. I have called "oi mate", clearly showed him the smoke grenade and gently thrown it underarm so they can pop the smoke. Free pyro! Great right? Smoke out and we all advance across the bridge or open area. No... They promptly run away and get shot thinking I had somehow got behind them covered them for fun and decided to taunt them with the means in which I would end them.2 points

WARNING - Scammers pretending to be AFUK Moderators
Hyena reacted to Jedi_Master for a topic
Scammers are messaging members direct with guns for sale and pretending to be Moderators at AFUK using our usernames. Do not purchase anything from them or give them your details. Report to the Mod team. We do not have friends, family, or team mates with items for sale. We would only sell guns via the Classifieds, in a proper advert, not by random direct messages. If in doubt, send us a PM.1 point -
Just wanted to share my experience flying from Spain (Malaga) to the UK with internal airsoft parts in my carry-on luggage, in case it helps anyone considering the same. This could probably help in some other EU countries as well. Background: I only considered doing this because I had pre-purchased parts from Finland and Italy to arrive at my address in Spain. Nearly everything was RetroArms parts at significant discounts — hard to come by and expensive to replace. The only non-RetroArms item was the LCT AK magwell spacers. I was trying to avoid shipping them separately or risking them in checked baggage due to time and coordination issues. Previous Experience: On a past trip, I had tried to take an airsoft pistol magazine in carry-on. In hindsight I couldn't believe I even tried this, I should have known better. It was flagged immediately and security said I’d have to either check it in the hold (too late) or have it confiscated. I chose the latter. Lesson learned: magazines are a definite no in hand luggage. This Time: I packed the following internal-only parts in my carry-on: 2 gearboxes 2 motor cages 2 spring guides 1 cylinder 1 cylinder head LCT AK magwell spacers Nothing was externally gun-shaped or capable of functioning on its own. All were purely internal upgrade components. I also brought: Paperwork detailing what the items were, receipts and why I had them. In both Spanish and English. My best attempt at staying calm and cooperative despite being rushed (I woke up an hour before the flight and was rushing like hell to get to the airport, don't do that!) What Happened: After going through the scanner, my bag was immediately pulled aside. Security flagged the contents as “weapon-like in nature.” I explained and handed over the documentation. A police officer was called. Thankfully, he knew what airsoft was and confirmed the parts were internal-only and not part of a replica. He still went to check with his superior, since it was a fairly large quantity. The superior gave the green light, but warned me not to do it again, emphasizing that other officers could have refused it entirely. I ended up having to sprint through the airport and barely made my flight. It was a close call as I had 7 minutes to run from Security, through Passport control and to the gate at the furthest end of B Terminal! Key Point: Even if what you’re carrying is legal, that does not mean you have the right to bring it in carry-on. Airport security and airline staff have full discretion to confiscate or deny boarding over any item they find suspicious, even if it’s not prohibited by law. Final Thoughts: I got through this time because I had paperwork, remained polite, and the police officer was informed. But it could have easily gone the other way. TL;DR: Only tried this because I had pre-bought RetroArms parts at a discount, shipped to Spain from Finland and Italy. Packed all internal parts: no replica externals, no magazines. Bag was pulled aside, police were called, and I was let through after a warning. Legal doesn’t mean allowed — security can refuse anything. Wouldn’t try it again — too stressful and risky. If you do intend to try this. Please make sure you heed the above!1 point

He should probably focus on paying those bills and getting better at what he does to earn more money instead of begging strangers to fund to his hobby. On a site dedicated to worthy causes like medical treatment and community outreach and there's this shithouse with his hand out. Pretty sure if you can afford to "explore numerous airsoft sites across the country" (presumably with your own kit) then you can cough up 500 more quid towards it. It certainly doesn't take long to spend that, even as a rental that's only 10 game days. (Excluding travel, etc.) I'm gonna go with "not 156 quid."1 point -

They could've gone the easy route and smashed a glock/mp9/xdm hammerless internals into a m320 shell, but this looks like a ground up rebuild of how they make things. Maybe they looked at the We/VFC ones and worked out why they were shit out of the box, and rework everything.1 point

Every TM post descends into the same one track discussion. Boring. That P320 looks good, really good and I hope the do more frame sizes…but I think they’re missing a trick not making it optic compatible right out of the box.1 point -

Another cause is how high/low the magazine sits relative to the hop unit and it's a combination of lower receiver, magazine retention latch and hop unit itself. In fact good hop units have adjustable feed tubes to compensate for this. In any case EPM1 mags seem to give more issues than benefits1 point

He's made it very easy by not knowing how to mount a scope in rings for a start. The markings are backwards. It's not an iphone flipped photo problem, as the scope is pointed the same direction as most marketing material, ocular lens to the left, objective to the right. If ocular lens is in front of you, and the objective away from you, the "crossfire ii" markings should be on the left hand side with a vortex logo on the left side opposite where the windage turret is, in this example its reversed and is missing very obvious markings across the top of the ocular housing.1 point -

so, i have been neglecting to post updates for the past few months, so i will blast them all in one post.... i bought a laylax thread adapter to fit on my KWA beretta M93r from firesupport. (thank you @strykerles for the link). only downside is the threads are 14mm clockwise, and tracers are 14mm counter clockwise threads, but i was able to make an acetech fit through brute force XD then i bought the Umarex walther PPK and 2 spare mags from landwarrior and a Crusader silencer form airsoftworld to go with it along with it. currently trying to figure out a way to mount a tracer in the silencer without the inner barrel poking through and preventing tracer working (and without taking a hacksaw to it so i can use it without tracer at a later date if i choose) had to buy a new gun at AI500 in Flambards after i took a tumble and managed to snap my KWA Skorpion in two... so i bought the KWA Mac11 with spare mags... and it was the only gun i had with me at the event that didnt malfunction constantly.=/ i also bought a G&G ESG10 from my local surplus shop (who also sells some airsoft gear) for use at AI500, expecting more close quarters battles than i actually encountered, so it didnt get a lot of use.. plus i found the mag release is way too sensitive. whenever i had it slung on my back as a backup, it would constantly drop the mag, so it was mostly left at respawn to be used as needed, but i ended up just running the mac 11 all weekend after getting home from AI500, i bought a new reciever for the Skorpion from BZtactical, and have swapped the internals from the broken Skorpion, but now it needs fettling as i cant get the trigger to reset, and the valve knocker is sticky, so it wont fire at the moment =/ a shame, as i loved the little Skorp... evil little beastie deciding i wanted to display my guns, and consign many of the boxes to the loft, i bought a bunch of hookwall panels, brackets and hooks, which my brother and i mounted on the wall in my living room over the bank holiday weekend. need to order some different sized hooks and get another wall mount brracket as somehow had one missed out of my order, but they have been helpful when i contacted them. all bought from unishop.co.uk finally, i bought a WE Apache A5 from onlyairsoft along with a claw mount and 6 spare mags. to complete it, i bough a cheap red dot scope from Amazon and then a collapsible stock from KYairsoft which arrived today. hoping to run this tomorrow for the first time no pics at the moment as i cannot crop them down to meet the forum file size limits, and fed up of hosting the images from discord, only for them to stop working after a couple of days...1 point -

I've had a bit of good luck in finding RIFs I want at a real discount. In addition to the L22 Carbine I managed to snap up a couple of days ago (see further up) I also found a guys ICS L86A2 LSW on an absolute steal. He says the FPS is low so it could be a quick service job but performance overall is pretty poor as it has no ETU and all internals are stock.1 point
