Still optimistic at that price, given that it's two toned, and the nimh model with anaemic performance. Lipo transforms them, and you can get the lipo-ready CYMA CM.127 from PatrolBase with free two-toning for £65 plus the postage that he isn't even offering. Remember that we're comparing used and unknown condition to new.2 points -

Double Eagle M906C - Internal upgrades / tinkering
Herrgh reacted to Colin Allen for a topic
You don't want to lubricate the gears too much when using the Perun; if you do, there is a risk of getting some on the cycle detectors. If it is running well, there should not be any need to open it up again, unless/until it stops performing as you want it to. You probably did not need to fit new bearings or change the piston parts and cylinder head, but that is done. You did the job and it is running ok, which is good.1 point -

"right" is something that is specific to each individual box, so we as outsiders have no way to say if that's too much or not enough. If it sounds smooth then it's good.1 point -
It's a smart move to make them from 18650s, they're ubiquitous in pretty much everything from electric shavers to electric cars - if you pop open a car battery, thousands of them will spill out. However, it also leaves you vulnerable to bad batches or bait-and-switch by suppliers, or ham handed construction. I note Titans claim to be "made in the USA", which isn't the flex they imagine.1 point

tis a laborious process, a lot of assembling, testing and dissassembling to make changes. it's why i'm not a fan of the m4 platform, lot of unnessecary steps to get to actual testing.1 point -

Ok, did some more testing and checked the fill and exit valves. The fill valve is directly threaded into the back face of the magazine and there is no syphon tube so it is easy to completely fill the gas chamber with liquid propane (or near enough!) Meaning there is little gas available for firing a BB, and shots in quick succession lead to a drop in power due to it taking longer to replenish the gas pressure by boiling off the liquid propane. 8-10sec fill seems optimal. The exit valves on one of the mags was a little sticky so I removed it, lubed with very light silicone oil, wiped the excess off, and refitted. Much more consistent FPS and even gained 5FPS due to efficiency. I did the other mag and found it didn’t make much difference, but that one was always working better any way. Hope this helps anyone else who gets the G&P MWS mags and finds some less than great performance.1 point -

Thought this might be interesting to people using the NGRS AK74's from TM. If you snap the pot metal stock catch, you are pretty much buggered as spares are unicorn pooh. Thankfully FCW have made a steel replacement so grab one while you can. https://www.octagonairsoft.com/product-page/fcw-steel-lock-button-for-tm-ak-next-generation-ebb-series1 point -

This week I managed to make a complete balls up of the repair/upgrade on my KAC PDW. In no particular order I managed to tear the new hop rubber when putting the hop unit back on the inner barrel, loose the hop nub (fortunately I found again later) and while disconnecting the wiring a bullet connector came off. I'll try again today and hopefully things will go better0 points -
