Well, I have finally found the cause. After putting the stock piston back into my replica it was still all over the place. Fast forward a few days and I buy a lovely replacement from @strykerles For shits and giggles I figured I’d try the hop up from his (Which was consistent with nearly every shot) and my old wooden furnitured SVD was also consistent! Huzzah!

Reducing mag type I need is one reason I get one. Yes I still carry same amount of mag(6), but if the PCC is dead I have all 6 mags ready for pistol

Genuine Elcan C79/Spectre OS3.4x, the black non-tensioner variant that came before the green variant. Scope is real, mount is real, reticle is the canadian post. As far as I'm aware, this is the first and only C79 to enter the UK I'm not really sure if I want to hold onto it for long so I'm gauging opinions here, the C79's were never intended to be surplussed afaik so it's a bit rare, from what I can tell they were supposed to all be destroyed as part of the C7A2 modernisation program

Would you consider taking an interest in playing at Tactical Warfare Airsoft? That site needs to be closed down.

Is that word round the campfire or from the developer or webmaster? It was down at least a year ago and came back so I'd wait to see what the actual outcome is. I assume it was taken down because of the scams that sellers were hit by. As I understand it, it's run by a one-man army who worked on it in his spare time. He doesn't seem to respond to communications, not just with the recent spam but where there are/were some spammers/scammers who advertised this self help and general snake oil shite.

Wood ones being retired anyway, stocks getting really wobbly due to poor securing points. Only used it once 😂 it’ll be a place holder until I can afford a real sword or LCT

@Impulse Thanks for the info. My AEG is only full auto at the moment so I don't know if that will effect things. In semi-auto games or areas I use my pistol. My bolt rifle is 1j so should be ok. @The_Lord_PonchoYes, the times I've been its always been well attended. I know Dogtag is a small part of a larger concern with Archery, axe throwing and other type activities, there's also the paintball and laser tag areas. Even if the airsoft is going well it could be affected by business in the other areas. Honestly don't know.

I would start by shimming the guide rod so the slide has less to travel. If this improves the snappiness remove the shims, chuck a heaver recoil spring in and up the PSI of the gas to something like 220 (Vorsk V12 is nice and dry) and should be gravy.

No personal experience with that type of RIF, but looking at how it is assembled, potentially place a slither of something under the lowest side (of that weird two part hop unit - no idea why Ares have used that design - very out of date) before those two screws are tightened? A bit of aluminium from a cut up coke can might do it for example, or even some card.

So, i’ve took the feed tube out. It split apart whilst doing that (why design them like that 🤷‍♂️). There was a natural bend in it, so it was never wonky. I’ve gently reinstalled it and it looks good. Test fire is same result. Bb is going into the feed tube but the bb just sits there and doesn’t fire. Back to the shop on Saturday. They can deal with it.

Tried sixmm.. they wouldn't ever send an order out until being e-mailed multiple times after already waiting 10 days+. Gave up on them, saw some stuff on Shooters Combat Gear that wasn't available elsewhere, order sat unmoving for a week, e-mail, 'it'll dispatch tomorrow', that was a week ago. I'm sticking with WGC in future I reckon.
