Made four variants of the TM AKM GBB bolt shells, standard TM, MWS charging handle version, Galil, Type 3 AK47 (No lighting cut). The MWS CH bolt is used with the dust cover, and takes any MWS spec charging handles, CH does not reciprocate of course. The other bolt variants can be used on its own.

Just in case you hadn't seen it yet - Salvo Precision is effectively Double Eagle, and this is their version of Spear LT which is currently slated for Q1/Q2 2025. As its DE, it's MWS based and it won't cost an arm and a leg like the toxicants.

The final straw for us was when a marshal refused to wear eyepro in the playing area when people had loaded guns and later, when he had eventually put eyepro on, totally ignored a player standing next to him with no eyepro. There's very little manufacture of tactical clothing in the UK and what there is is expensive, so I'd be very very curious where these are made. The 'G3' pads look exactly like typical chinese airsoft copies of the Crye pads. Not saying anything without evidence, but even though the trousers are just a G3 Combat pant knock-off with no R&D expenditure that price is still surprisingly low.

As a last-ditch expedient, you can remove the hop unit spring and see if that worsens the air seal (urgh, it feels dirty even saying that). Final last-ditch, stack some tape between the gearbox or hop unit It could mess with your feeding or consistency, but it might at least get you playing.

I think you've misunderstood what I was getting at. I wasn't questioning that it's above current retail pricing, merely speculating that he'd paid more than he should have which is why the price is so divorced from reality. Either way, he's not done his homework to establish what his bundle is likely to fetch.

Mine turned up today too. Took a fair bit of effort to get it onto the 1911 rail. Rock solid on both where the repros had play. Not sure on why there's a slight design difference for the 'surefire' trademark. Can only guess one is older than the other or maybe some different tooling used for it? Controls are nice and stiff, very hard to accidentally knock the light on which was a gripe I had with the repros. Very happy with these. Now I just need a lightbearing holster for each - any suggestions welcome

Maybe his own VAT, but they're 450 for the gun and 28 each for the mags including VAT from Zero One. What he wants is well above retail for a used gun. If the gun alone was 300-ish i'd be tempted. But even at 350 i'd pay the extra hundred quid and have a brand new one.

if you own a wider/slightly shorter inner barrel you could temporarily swap it until the energy stabilizes.

I wonder if he was stiffed at the time buying it. That being said the fact that he openly says it doesn't support his play style sounds like a delayed case of buyer's remorse so maybe there's a wish to be compensated, including the VAT paid on it?

Don't bother with any upgrades. ALL my pews shoot like a lazer with incredible range, unfortunately that range is always about 2 feet short of actually hitting anyone.
